Product Tested ByClaire Elsey – Joey 8 Months

Claire Awarded The Don’t let them tame you baby grow 5/5

I thought the quality of this product was good. The design is plain but nice. It is practical for the age it is intended to be worn by; although Joey is a wriggler so sometimes difficult to put on. Fabric is very good quality and will last a long time. Joey was very comfortable in it and seemed to be able to move around easily. It didn’t cause any irritation at all for him. It is very easy to launder though I would not put it in a tumble dryer. I think it offers good value for money. I would most likely buy this product again. I would recommend it; I am very happy with the product and am glad I got chosen to test this. Claire Elsey – Joey 8 Months

When I received this item I was very impressed with how well and nice it was packaged, very nice to send as a gift. Nice item, just not too keen on the slogan personally. I really like how it only has three poppers, so much easier when changing nappies, other than that just a basic baby grow. I ordered a size 6-12 months, my son was 6 months when it arrived, fitted perfectly, still does but not sure it will fit him up to age 12 months but he is a big boy so maybe better suited to a smaller child for the time period. The fabric is 100% cotton, very soft, washes well and still in great condition. It looks very comfortable on my baby and caused no irritation at all. It is very easy to wash with all other clothes and doesn’t really need to be ironed. I would not pay the full retail price for this, I think it is pricy for one baby grow and I don’t favour this over any of my cheaper suits. Even though this is a lovely item, I wouldn’t buy it or recommend it as I think it’s expensive for what it is. It is a very lovely item but expensive for what it is. Donna Ellis – Kyfer 7 Months

Product arrived quickly in nice packaging. My first impression was that the product looked very big for 0-3 months but was nice quality material. The arms and body of the garment were too long; arms could be rolled up easily but with the body being too long it scrunched when worn meaning that you couldn’t really read the slogan. My baby is still young so there is time for him to grow into it however the leg length fits perfectly now so I’m not sure how much longer he’ll be able to wear it for. Due to the age of my baby I find it easier to have baby grows that button up down the body; quite tricky pulling it all over his head without disturbing him too much; this is very much a personal preference. I requested 0-3 months (the smallest size) as my baby is currently 5 weeks old. The product is far too long in the arms and body; please see above comment. 0-3 is a difficult size range as babies can vary so much but I doubt many babies under/around one month old would fit into this size. The fabric is of lovely quality and fairly thick making it nice and warm; nice for a colder day. It was soft and washed well. Apart from the size William was very comfy in the baby grow and looked very cosy. He had no problems at all with it irritating him. Sleeves had to be rolled up but this was easy to do. It washed and dried easily. No special care needed. Colour was fine after washing with similar dark colours (I had the navy baby grow). Fabric was lovely and soft after washing and drying too. I think £17 is expensive for this product especially in comparison to other baby grows that I have recently bought. I personally would not consider buying this due to cost and sizing issues; also I am not a fan of slogans/writing on baby grows. I think if the sizing was better I would recommend it but it is a lot of money if it doesn’t fit properly. Nice quality material used that washes well/easily but sizing is a little off and does not represent value for money in comparison to other similar products on the market.Helen Mansell – William 5 Weeks 3 Days
