Hear the unmistakable trumpeting sound of the Gentoo and learn about their quirky antics.Touch the iced environment that the penguins call home and give your best imitations of a penguin waddle.
Our penguins, which are classified as near-threatened on the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) Red List, will travel half the way around the world to play and swim in their brand new, specially built home. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to find out more!
We were very excited about going to see the penguins and the rest of the sealife centre and we definitely weren’t disappointed. All the way home my oldest daughter was talking about how much she'd enjoyed herself. We will for sure being going back to see the penguins.

Also loved finding the sponge bob square pants glasses to then have to find characters from the show. We so loved the Penguins, they looked so happy as if they were putting on a show to show off to us. The star fish were amazing; we loved how you could go into bubbles so you can see the starfish from the underneath. The largest starfish was huge, couldn't believe how big he was! Amazing! The use of the lighting throughout the whole experience added to the great effect of being under the sea. The shop at the end also is good value for money, the girls were given money to spend on a treat and they both easily found something in the price range. My girls loved the craft area too and did some fun painting and prints. Myself and my family loved the whole Sea Life experience.
