This is a black tea that has been lightly fermented, resulting in a greener, more delicate brew. It has a mild astringency, boasting flavours of peach and flowers with slightly earthy undertones. One of the larger estates of Darjeeling, at 172 hectares Gopaldhara is an extemely innovative tea estate. It was the first tea garden to commercially introduce the Darjeeling oolongs, white teas and autumn and frost pickings.
