I am a huge fan of the Orchard games, so I was very pleased with this product when it arrived. The packaging was excellent. The game was very straightforward and easy to understand. My 4 year old got it straight away, my twins didn’t quite get it at first, but they got the gist of it after a little while. I had no concerns with them playing with it, it states from two and a half.  This game definitely kept their attention and helps with their development. It is simple enough for them to play with without losing interest. The overall quality is very good. The price is ok but I might hesitate before buying as it’s a little more than I paid for other similar games. I would recommend it to others; it is very good for dexterity and learning colours. The children enjoyed playing it and that’s the most important thing. RebeccaMcFadyen – Toby 4 Years, Edward and Caitlyn 22 Months

We love anything to do with Pirates so this was bound to be a hit. I wondered if it would be "too young” for my eldest at 4 ½ years old. The packaging was excellent; usual Orchard Toys quality. I really like the concept of this product, as per most Orchard Toys games it can be played at different levels too! My child did understand the concept too; even my 2 ½ yearold got the idea, though less able to remember where pieces were put down by other players. The age it is recommended for is perfect. It seemed to be about learning shapes/colours, however my 2 ½ year old finds these pretty easy, the harder part was getting her to take turns and remember where cards were. I thought it might be a bit young for my 4 ½ year old but actually it was fine, my 7 year old nephew played too. The playable context was brilliant; I really liked it, objects to talk about, and short enough that it doesn’t go on forever. It does help with their development but more the turn taking than shape and colour recognition, however I guess if I had had it earlier I could have used it with my daughter alone and just one set of pieces to do shape recognition etc. It is simple enough to play without losing interest though for my
2 ½ year old with 4 people playing she was getting bored towards the end. It does offer fantastic value for money. I would consider buying this and recommend it to others. This has been played and enjoyed by children between the ages of 2 to 7. Karen Gregory – AJ 4 Years and Esme 2 Years

My little boy is a huge pirates fan so I knew he would like this as soon as he saw it. The packaging was lovely and suited the product perfectly. The concept of the game is really good; it was very easy to play and understand. Lucas understood the concept too. I had no initial concerns with him playing with it. The age this is aimed at is about right. The playable concept is brilliant. It definitely kept his attention for some time. It’s great to help with their development and fun at the same time. I think the quality is excellent; just what you would expect from such a respectable brand. It definitely offers value for money and would make a great gift for little Pirate fans out there. I would buy this again and recommend it to friends and family. We all enjoyed playing with this product; it’s both fun and educationalat the same time. Jodie Mason – Lucas 3 Years
