This is very sensitively written and illustrated. Very hard to deal with such an emotive subject, and author understands that even years later it can still bring tears; some lovely verses. The book is very good quality, constructed nicely and strong paper withstands small hands. I liked the dreamy bedtime look. Most conversations we have had have been via stories at night to help the others remember. While I had looked through other books, this one deals with every range of emotions, though it is very hard to read the entire book in one go. I did enjoy reading it; though obviously was a bitter sweet read. Some of the text can he a little over the top, but death is a hard thing to quantify really. Some of the over the top expressions took from remembrance a little but that is maybe not entirely bad as it prevented miring in grief. I particularly liked some of the illustrations and the constant refrain that it would be okay. One sentence referred to a little sister which is very apt in our case, though she will never know him. I was very impressed with this book as it is so difficult at times even to know why you are grieving. It was hard reading the book three years after; maybe impossible immediately after. Death is not nice, but so very unfair when it is a child. I have respect for anyone dealing with this subject. It does offer value for money; if this book helps someone in a small way, it is worth the price. I would consider buying this book; it is a sensitive gift to give another to help them cope. I would definitely recommend it; it was a very touching book but helped direct grief a bit. Our loss was my nephew. I will pass this onto his mother as I think it will help her. Nobody talks about a child’s death and it can be very lonely coping. I was very touched and impressed by this book. Tissues were needed. It brings some strong emotions. Very sensitively written and brings back some quite strong pangs. Thoughts are with the author as to write about it in such a manner indicates they have lost. It is very well written and illustrated, and is reminding me to be thankful for what I have. Thank you so very much for sending this. Natalie Stewart – Rose Lira 19 Months

I thought the book was okay but I found it to be written very child-like. The quality of the book was great and I really liked the look of it. I have not seen any books like this one before. I personally found it hard to read because of losing my own child named Aaron, but I would only read it once and not much more. To be honest I didn’t feel it was much help to me at all. My overall impression of this book was good. It offers good value for money but I wouldn’t consider buying it. I felt that the book might be of best use early on in grief but for me 4 years down the line I didn’t find it of much use unfortunately. Ann Hodnett – Katie and Joshua 4 Years

This is such a sad topic to write about but it is done very well in this book. The quality of the book is excellent. I thought the cover picture was lovely although brought a tear to my eye when I first saw it. I have never seen a book like this before. I did enjoy reading the book; it did bring plenty of tears though. My overall impression of this book was really good.  It was written in the most sensitive of ways. It is a very difficult subject to talk or think about. Losing a child is hard, very hard and life can be so cruel at times when they are taken away from us. If I knew that this book could help someone that has gone through what we have gone through then it is worth every penny. I would recommend it to others. I was very emotional reading this book but definitely worth the read. Anna Jakes – Milly 3 Years
