The packaging was bright and interesting and my daughter was excited to open it to get playing with it! I thought it was a lovely concept and a great way to get children engaged with learning to spell, the bight colourful cards really caught my daughter’s attention and she enjoyed having her own little board to spell on! The instructions are very straightforward and easy to understand. My daughter really enjoyed playing with the AlphaMagnets and she was very pleased with herself when she was able to spell the words without looking at the answers! The letters are very easy to use and they “stick” to the board well! The double-sided word cards were easy to use, they had lovely colourful images on them and the writing was clear and easy for my daughter to read! This game has helped my daughter with her alphabet learning and also word construction! This game has been great for helping my daughter learn word construction in a nice fun way, she takes it out and uses it for a little bit every couple of days on her own without being asked- and she enjoys it! This is a very effective way at helping to make learning fun and has helped my daughter’s literacy skills! My child played with it every day for the first week, now she plays with it between 1-3 times a week without being asked, she really enjoys it! My daughter played with this with her older sister who is 8, her older sister likes to pretend being the teacher and helping my daughter spell out the words! The case is excellent and all the letters fit inside the case which makes it great for travelling but also keeps the letters nice and tidy with less likelihood of them getting misplaced or lost! She really enjoyed the fact she had her own wee case/board and she loved the bright colourful cards-the pictures kept her engaged! I liked the fact that my daughter seen it as a “fun” game to play rather than learning, yet she was learning whilst playing with it! This game is a fun educational game which really helps children learn their alphabet and learn how to spell and construct word, overall it is great for developing literacy and spelling skills. My child was 5 and has now just turned 6 and this was suitable for her and would definitely be suitable for any children aged 3+ to get them learning their alphabet and ages 4/5+ to help them learn spelling! This would be a fantastic set to have in schools and nurseries for children ages3-4+ to help them learn literacy skills in a fun way! I think the price is good value for money and around the price I would expect to pay for it! I would definitely consider buying it, it would make a lovely gift for 3 or 4 year old as they would get use out of it firstly for learning their alphabet and then spellings as they got older. I would absolutely recommend this to friends and family who have young children as it’s a very useful learning tool! I give this product full marks as I felt it was a very useful tool in helping my daughter engage in literacy learning, she enjoys playing with it and is learning at the same time as playing! It comes in a beautiful carrycase with board that is very useful for transporting it between Granny’s house and home and it also keeps the letters nicely tidied away. The flash cards are bright and engaging and easy to read! Overall a lovely educational toy! Jennifer Willis – Chloe 6 Years

Looked very interesting, was surprised at how big the box was. Perfect for helping my little one with his spelling. Instructions were easy to read. My little boy loves playing this game and is pleased he can do it on his own. He loved using the magnetic letters. This was something he liked the most… the fact he could do this on his own. He found the double-sided word cards very easy to use. My son already knew most of the alphabet but had a few still to learn, this was great at helping him. Definitely helped his construct words, he was able to make the word and then sound and blend it to read the word. This game has given my son more confidence in his reading and weekly spellings from school too. We would play this twice a week. My son has played this with his older sister who is 7, she loved this too. We haven’t taken it away yet but intend to take it with us on our next break. The carry case is perfect for that and for storing the parts. My son enjoyed the variety on the cards and the fact he didn’t need an adult to sit with him all the time, after just a few goes her was able to sit and do this independently while I was cooking or cleaning. I love how Convenient it is and how easy, yet enjoyable it is. I also loved that not only was this educational but it helped my sons fine motor skills… he struggles to hold a pen correctly and the teacher said to just let him do lots of fine motor so this works perfect for that. This is a great educational game and I have seen how much this has helped my son. Age suitability is perfect. My son started school in September so only just learning his phonics and letters.., I would say this is great for any aged child who needs to build their literacy skills and fine motor skills. I think this would be great for that nurseries and schools. I could see this working well with small interventions, with children who needs an extra bit of help. I feel this is a fair price for this product. I am going to buy my niece one for her birthday, she’s struggling with sounding and blending and this would really boost her confidence more in that area. Already recommended it to my mum who is a childminder. We’ve really enjoyed being able to explore this new product. It’s been most beneficial in helping my sons literally learning.

Lovely, lightweight carry case. Really lovely and I can see how it can support learning and play. Great instructions, love how it has different suggestions as to how to play. Unfortunately my five year old has no interest in this, he’s quite ahead in his learning and is already reading and writing(!!!), so asking him to spell ‘bee’, etc.. wasn’t interesting to him but my two year old loves it! I like the style of the magnetic letters different from plastic alternatives. He did find the double-sided word cards easy to use and good variety of words. This game has been helping my two year old daughter learn her alphabet. It is also helping her to learn her letters. To some extent yes it did help with literacy skills. My five year old hasn’t played with it much but my two year old plays with it every other day or so. They have played with it together, occasionally. This is ideal to take on your travels, because of the magnetic board and carry handle and it’s lightweight. However, I’m always wary of travelling with items that have small pieces in. My daughter liked the colourful letters and putting them on the board. I liked the variety of words. Definitely a good educational game. Children can ‘self check’ the words so I can see how it builds confidence and also patience and perseverance. Not for my five year old for reasons stated earlier but he would have loved this earlier on in his development. It’s a great set for reception/year one students. Ideal game to have in nurseries and schools. Reasonable price maybe £20 would seem a bit more a bargain! I would buy this because it helps support learning, I’d probably buy as a gift for family friends. I would recommend, it’s a bit different to other learning toys I’ve seen. I like the travel aspect to it. A great toy that I would buy, my only issue would be that the letters don’t quite fit in the case properly. Both children (2 and 4 at the time of receiving) we’re excited by the toy. Unfortunately, my son lost interest quite quickly as he is ahead in his learning. My two tears old daughter has enjoyed playing with it! Lucy Kibbler-Weaver – Leo 4 when arrived now 5 Years
