Arlot Luxury Bibs Reviews

The design and material of the bib were good quality. The thick, soft cotton and bamboo material really stands out for me. I like the bright tie dye dinosaur design and the bandana shape of the bib really makes even plain outfits stand out. This was a lovely fit for my son. My little boy appeared comfortable wearing the bib. I found this bib offered more coverage than other bandana style bibs I’ve tried. My little boy wears his bib most of the day and this felt very soft on his skin. Jacob has reflux so is often sick and this helped keep him drier than he has with certain other bibs. This has been worn a lot by my son.  I would use this bib at home and at baby groups. I do like the fact this is handmade and appreciate the time that someone has taken time to produce this bib with its unique print. I did like the variety of designs available, although it would be nice to see alternate designs available that are different to dinosaurs. The bib washed well however there was a small Calpol dribble stain that my little boy made that has not completely washed out, although had he been wearing another bib this may not have washed out on that either. I like the thick soft material of the bib the most which is essential with having a refluxy baby who needs to wear a bib for long periods. The material makes it feel luxurious and the design is nice and bright. I would consider repurchasing as it can be hard to find thick bibs like this. I would recommend due to the soft and thick absorbent material. I’m very pleased with the absorbent towelling design, the large bandana shape and the unique design. I really like this bib and its soft thick cotton and bamboo texture. The bandana style offers a good amount of coverage. Apart from a small Calpol dribble stain my little one made which didn’t wash out I feel this laundered well without any fading and it was very absorbent for my refluxy teething baby. Most other bibs would be soaked through within an hour whereas this could last most of the day. The gender neutral dinosaur design is very unique and really stands out. We often received compliments when at baby groups. The fact that this is handmade is excellent, you can really see the effort that has gone into making this bib. Its super soft texture meant my baby was comfortable when wearing the bib. The size fit my 10 month old well but I do think the bib may benefit from having more than one sizing option with an additional press stud hole to suit a wider variety of babies and toddlers. I would consider purchasing a bib due to its absorbency and I really hope they consider offering a wider variety of designs. Shelleen Southern – Jacob 10 Months

This arrived packaged well and looked quite thick compared to other bibs. I really liked the design and style of this bib was too much in your face I like plain bibs.  This fitted perfectly for my little boy and wasn’t tight round the neck. My boy was very comfortable wearing this. This gave good coverage and the bib didn’t get soaking like other bibs. I loved the organic cotton bamboo material as my boy suffers with dry skin and this was perfect for him. Super absorbent and kept my baby clothes dry. This was used when feeding and after feeding.  Mostly used this at home. I did like the fact this is handmade as it is something different compared to other bibs. I did like the variety of designs on offer. This was really easy to launder. I really liked the fact it did not soak my baby clothes. The quality is very good. I would purchase this bib as worked well for us. I would recommend for the same reasons. Lovely soft bib, great fit and worked well for us. Emma Conduit – Luca 20 Weeks

I wasn’t as keen on the tie dye design as I thought I might be as it was a bit hard to see the pattern of the dinosaur. However the material felt soft. The style is quite standard to other bibs. I did find this a bit small and even though there were 2 poppers for adjusting the size, they weren’t spaced out very far so didn’t make much difference, and it didn’t come down very far onto my son’s chest. Other triangle style bibs I have, have more leeway in the material and more length to cover the area that is most likely to get dirty. He didn’t seem to be bothered either way with wearing it, so would say was comfortable.  I felt the bib could have been a bit longer. The material used was soft and gentle for my son to wear. This seemed reasonably absorbent.  We used this a few times due to the size of it. I feel 18 months may be the age limit. My son is average height and weight on the 50th percentile. This was mainly used and worn around the house. I feel quite neutral about it being handmade. When it comes to something that is ultimately going to get dirty and need washing regularly I’m not as bothered about it being hand made. However, I do appreciate the time and skill gone into making something by hand but for this product it wouldn’t impact my decision on buying it or not. The variety of designs available are OK but there are lots of bibs around that are easily bought with colourful designs so I don’t feel these are anything particularly different. This was really easy to wash. I loved how soft the bib felt. The quality of the material felt nice. Personally I felt this is too expensive for one bib and would not purchase. The bib was OK, just issue with size.  I would consider buying it if the price was much lower and knew it would be a good fit for my son as the material is so soft. Faye Biggs – Theodore 18 Months
