This book looks great! The front cover has a great illustration which
was very colourful and inviting! The quality of the book was very good; its
covers were nice and thick as were the pages of the book. It feels nice too! As
soon as my daughter saw the book she wanted to read it straight away! She is a
real bookworm and was drawn to this one instantly. The illustrations in this
book are brilliant, they are bright, bold and appealed to my daughter and
myself. My daughter is just learning to read so I read the book to her; she
enjoyed hearing about Mavis and all the birds. My daughter thought the story
was good, she enjoyed the whole book. She liked looking at the illustrations
and identifying the birds. This book was stimulating for my daughter. It
encouraged her to discuss lots of different subjects from birds to what the
rhyming words would be. My overall impression of this book was that it is very
good. It’s good quality, it’s got a good story and it has lovely illustrations.
At £6.99 this book may seem a little expensive but any book that encourages
vocabulary and speech and discussion is well worth it and this book did just
that. I would buy this product after having tested it. I would certainly
recommend this book to family and friends and my daughter has taken it to
school to show her friends. I give this book full marks! My daughter and I
enjoyed reading this book. It is a nice book with a good story and lovely

Looked an
interesting book. Well presented,
attractive front cover and my children wanted to read this straight away. The quality of the book is great. The illustrations are lovely and we all loved
the way it was written in rhyme. Both my
children enjoyed this book, good story, good morale tale included and fun to
read. I would but this book and have
already recommended. A bit pricey but a

Good Quality book with nicely illustrated
front cover. Good quality make with thick pages and shiny front cover. My child
liked the front cover and wanted me to read the story to them. The book is well
illustrated with colourful drawings that appeal to children and adults. My
child got a bit bored reading the book as a bit repetitive and she had not
really got much of an interest in birds. My child found the story a bit repetitive
and she could not really engage with any of the characters. It’s stimulating as
rhymes and nicely illustrated. My
daughter also was engaged by counting the birds. It’s a good quality book. The story is quite clever and nicely
illustrated. At £6.99 I think it priced a little high. I would to spend around
£5 of a book of this nature. It did not engage us so would not buy it. I did
not love this book enough to recommend. It’s not a bad book, just not our
personal cup of tea. A well written book with lovely illustrations. The subject matter did not engage us and it
will not be a family favourite or one we will find ourselves reading over and
