Baby Buzz Free Magazine

Baby Buzz Magazine is all about finding what works for you the parent, the child, the family. As a mum and businesswoman, I try to put across views, news and advice as to what works for me and what might work for you. I say might, because everyone is different, each child learns and grows at their own speed and what works for one family may well not work for another. So who am I?  Well quite simply, I am Nickie and I have two gorgeous daughters.   After a traumatic 2012, I decided that I wanted to do something to support my family and having wanted to write my own publication, and never really having the guts to do it, I decided to ‘bite the bullet’ and create Baby Buzz Magazine.  I wanted to create an easier way to connect with other parents or families and a simpler way to access useful tips for families everywhere. So why another baby and parenting magazine you might ask? I was fed up of paying a small fortune for magazines that didn’t have anything I was interested in, that stopped featuring articles or advice if your child was 3 or 4 years old and above (why is it thought that once your child has gone past the toddler stage, you should know everything there is to know about being a parent?).  Parents everywhere constantly want to know useful tips, advice, medical knowledge or just plain gift ideas so i’ve combined the best of what’s on the market with medical advice from midwives, GP’s and different organisations to anyone who wants to read it.

This magazine looked interesting. There was a variety of
articles to read covering different things. Some of the advice in the magazine
was very simple and stuff was easy to follow. The magazine was not too long
either. The quality is excellent; very interesting, but simple. The balance
between advertising and advice was good; some of the advertisement broke up the
articles. I would recommend this magazine to those who have children. This is a
good simple read, with useful information. Donna Mallaby-Frost – Milly 3 ½

The topics in this magazine were interesting. I like the
fact that there are loads of interviews with mumpreneurs in the magazine; certainly
interesting advice given. The magazine is a good size too. Unfortunately I
thought the quality was poor; there are loads of advertisement pictures which
are really poor quality in the magazine as well as 1 typo and the different
fonts as titles are just too busy. There are quite a lot of advertisements too;
I guess with it being free though they need to make the money to obtain the
free magazine. I would still recommend it because it’s free and it’s certainly
a nice read. Just a let down that the pictures are poor quality and the fonts
are too busy. AK Templer – Finn 3 ½ Years and

I thought this looked like a basic
publication; good that it was free but it probably wouldn’t catch my eye to
buy. This magazine is better suited if you lived in London as it told you a lot
about what was happening; if this was in my area then the magazine would have
been more appealing to me. The size of the magazine is perfect. This magazine
was not really appealing to me but as a free magazine you can’t really go
wrong. It would be extremely beneficial to those that live in the area where it
is based as there was loads of useful information; however this was irrelevant
to me. Lauren Anne Fincham – Jesse 3
