Before filling the bath with water, simply select the desired position and press the seat firmly down onto the surface of the bath.
Turn the seat towards you and remove the armrest by pressing the central button.
Fill the bath and you are ready to put the little one in.
When baby is in replace the arm rest.
Baby is now secure in the bath and you have free hands for washing and play. You can turn the seat so baby can face you therefore encouraging eye contact and play interaction.
When bathtime is over and baby is safely out of the seat, simply let out the water and remove the seat by pulling on the pull tabs. If you can’t see them simply rotate the seat until you can.
ALWAYS use the tabs to release the suction cups. If you pull on the seat to remove from the bath you may break the suction cups or pull them out of their housing.
Cleaning
Any product left wet in a bathroom will become susceptible too mould. To avoid this ensure that your baby bath seat is dried thoroughly after each use and placed in a warm not humid place.
On a regular basis you can remove the base to check for mould. If some is there use an off the shelf mould and mildew remover or make your own using white vinegar and tea tree oil. Click here to find out how.

BabyDam Orbital 360° Rotating Baby Bath Seat Reviews

Product Tested By Sharon Smith – Alicia 6 Months

Sharon Awarded The Baby Dam Orbital Rotating Baby Bath Seat 4.8/5

It looked good quality, good design and was eager to try it out in the bath with Alicia. I liked the design and the concept I could bath my daughter virtually hands free. Instructions clear and easy to follow. This was very easy to place in bath and use. So easy to place Alicia in this, just remove the arm rest, pop her in safely and them replace arm rest so she can have fun in the bath. This was ideal for Alicia and she was safe and happy in her baby bath. The suction cups were very effective and kept it safe and secure in the bath. Liked the high back as gave Alicia the support she needed in the bath. We all loved the swivel action as we could move her round to have fun with all her bath toys and made it so much easier to wash her. Even her older brother had fun swivelling her around in the bath and helping at bath time. Very easy to keep clean. This has made bath time so much easier and more fun for Alicia and she now really enjoys her night time bath. We now use it every other day. Has become part of our bathtime routine. We keep this at home and use in the bathroom. Alicia was not a fan of bath time, and would always play up, but now she is happy, safe, we can wash her with ease and she enjoys her bath now. I loved how we could wash her safely and comfortably and she now smiles at bath time. Good quality, sturdy and will last a while. Ideal for my daughter so age suitable. Very good value and easy enough to store in our bathroom cupboard. I would buy this as a gift as we have one now. I would recommend to others as makes bath time happy, safe and fun. Tis is a good design, works well and keeps baby safe and happy at bath time. Sharon Smith – Alicia 6 Months

Product Tested By Emma Long – Alex 5 Months

Emma Awarded The Baby Dam Orbital Rotating Baby Bath Seat 4.5/5

I thought it looked of good quality and a good idea as Alex had recently grown out of his bath. I thought it was simple and classic design. Instructions easy to follow and clear. This is very simple to use. It was easy to place my son in this but as he is a boy I was worried when attaching the front restraint. I was confident he was safe, but once in the bath it’s much more slippery and when smaller babies are in they slide about. To resolve this I used my inflatable bath cushion to support him – maybe you could add something similar as an accessory – perhaps with a flap at the front to protect the boys whilst fitting the restraint? The suction cups worked perfectly. The removable arm reast was easy to remove. The high back did give good support. Being a swivel bath did make it easier to bath my son. However, I would have found a locking mechanism useful – my bath is quite narrow and I found sometimes he was trapping his legs whilst the seat was twisting, so I was having to hold the seat still at times. I did use it on holiday in a larger P shaped bath and that was much less restrictive for him. It drains and dries easily. We use it two/three times a week and I will continue to use it. Used at home in our bath. My baby enjoyed being able to play and having the freedom to reach for his toys. I enjoyed being able to play with him – not having to always hold him. It is good quality and well-constructed. I do agree suitable 5 months plus, but an inflatable support (like an Ikea high chair would be a good addition whilst small). This is good value for money. I would buy this as it has been useful for Alex and he enjoys it. I would recommend for the same reasons. An insert and a rotation lock would really improve this product. It’s well made, simple to use and easy to clean. The little one loves it as he can reach for his toys and play with me (not needing to be held). An addition to lock position would be useful for narrow baths and an inflatable insert for younger babies would prevent them from sliding around so much when is use. I do like the product and will continue using it until I’m confident of him sitting in the water unaided. Emma Long – Alex 5 Months

Fay Awarded The Baby Dam Orbital Rotating Baby Bath Seat 3.5/5

When the seat arrived, my first impression was that it looked modern, well-made, and sturdy. The packaging was neat, and the materials felt durable and smooth to the touch. The 360° swivel base and removable armrest immediately stood out as thoughtful features aimed at making bath time easier. Overall, it looked like a high-quality, practical product that was ready to use straight away. I really like the design and style of the Orbital Rotating Baby Bath Seat. It has a clean, modern look that feels more premium than a lot of other baby bath seats I’ve seen. The overall shape is smooth with no sharp edges, and everything feels sturdy and well-built. The rotating base is a clever design feature that makes it so much easier to wash and play with my baby without constantly leaning over. I also appreciate the removable front bar — it shows that the design was made with parents’ convenience in mind. Overall, it’s stylish, practical, and feels thoughtfully made for both safety and ease of use. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, with simple steps and helpful diagrams that made setup quick. It only took a few minutes to understand how to attach the suction cups properly and how the rotating base and removable armrest worked. I liked that the instructions reminded you about safety — especially about checking the suction before each use and never leaving your baby unattended. That gave me extra peace of mind. I would say a few small details could have been clearer, like extra tips for baths with slightly textured surfaces or how to get the best suction. But overall, the instructions were straightforward and made the whole setup process easy and stress-free. Setting up the seat was straightforward, and the swivel and removable armrest are clever features that should make bath time easier. In practice, using it with my baby was a little tricky because she slipped slightly and moved around a lot, but the seat itself was intuitive and didn’t require much effort to operate. Overall, it felt practical and user-friendly, though the comfort and support issues lowered the experience. The removable front armrest makes it easier to place the baby into the seat, and the smooth plastic helps prevent catching or dragging on their skin. However, my baby slipped slightly once seated, and the armrest left red marks on her legs, which made me a bit concerned. While it was fairly easy to place her in the seat, the comfort and security weren’t ideal. Unfortunately, I noticed that my baby was slipping slightly in the seat, which made me feel uneasy. The support didn’t feel very secure for her small frame, and the front armrest left red marks on her legs after a short time, suggesting it might be a bit tight or hard in certain areas. While the swivel feature and suction base seemed well-designed, the seat didn’t provide the level of comfort and stability I expected. I would not feel fully confident leaving my baby in it without holding them closely the whole time. The suction cups are advertised as strong, and they did stick well to our smooth bath at first. However, I noticed that the seat could still slip slightly when my baby moved, which made me a bit nervous. On textured or slightly uneven bath surfaces, I think the suction would be even less reliable. While the cups do provide some stability, they weren’t enough to make me feel completely confident that the seat would stay perfectly in place, especially with a wriggly baby. They worked okay, but I wouldn’t say they were completely foolproof. The armrest is a good idea in theory and does make it possible to get the baby in and out of the seat, but in practice it wasn’t very smooth. I sometimes had to fumble a bit to detach or reattach it, especially if my baby was moving around. Additionally, I noticed that the armrest left red marks on my baby’s legs, which made me more cautious about using it. While it’s removable, it didn’t feel entirely convenient or gentle in everyday use. While the high back looked like it would offer good support, in practice it didn’t feel very secure for my baby. She still slipped slightly forward and side-to-side, which made me nervous. The back didn’t seem padded or contoured enough to provide real comfort, especially for a smaller baby. Overall, the high back gives the impression of support, but for my experience, it didn’t provide the level of stability or comfort I was expecting. The swivel feature is a clever idea in theory, and it does allow you to turn your baby toward yourself rather than leaning over the bath. This could make reaching different areas slightly easier. However, because my baby was slipping in the seat and the armrest left red marks, I didn’t feel fully confident letting her swivel freely. That made me hesitant to rely on the rotation as much as I would have liked. In addition to this, when I did try to rotate her, I found I had to be extra cautious with the position of her legs, perhaps because my bath is more narrow than others, so it did not work as well as I thought it would. The smooth plastic surfaces made wiping down and rinsing the seat fairly easy, and there aren’t too many small crevices to trap water. The removable armrest also helps a bit with cleaning hard-to-reach areas. The only drawback is that water can sometimes pool around the base or under the suction cups, which means you have to make sure it’s fully dried after each bath to prevent Mold or stale water. Overall, though, cleaning it was straightforward and didn’t take much effort. I only used the bath seat once. After that initial use, I found that my baby was slipping in it, the armrest left red marks on her legs, and the high back didn’t feel very supportive. Because of these concerns, I didn’t feel confident using it again and decided not to continue. I used the bath seat at home, in our regular bathtub. My baby didn’t seem to particularly enjoy the seat. She was a bit uncomfortable with the armrest pressing on her legs and also slipped slightly, so it didn’t feel very secure to her. Because of this, there wasn’t really anything she showed a clear preference for or seemed to enjoy about the bath seat. What I liked most was the idea behind the design — especially the 360° swivel feature and the removable front bar. These features seemed clever and well thought out, making it easier to reach my baby from different angles and get her in and out of the seat. I also appreciated that the materials felt sturdy and easy to clean. Even though the seat didn’t work perfectly for us, the design features themselves showed thoughtful planning for parents’ convenience. The seat feels well-built and the plastic is sturdy and smooth, which makes it easy to clean. The swivel mechanism and suction cups seem solid in theory. However, in practice, some parts didn’t feel quite as comfortable or supportive for my baby — she slipped a little, and the armrest left red marks on her legs. So while the materials and construction appear good, the usability and comfort for a small baby were not quite ideal. My baby is 6.5 months, so she was within the recommended age range. In terms of size, she fit into the seat, but I found that it didn’t provide enough support for her small frame. She slipped slightly, and the armrest left red marks on her legs, which made me concerned about comfort and safety. So while the seat technically accommodates babies of this age, in practice, it didn’t feel fully suitable for my 6.5-month-old. The seat has some clever design features, like the 360° swivel and removable armrest, and the materials feel sturdy and easy to clean. In theory, it seems like it should make bath time easier. However, in practice, my baby slipped in the seat, the armrest left red marks on her legs, and the high back didn’t provide enough support. Because of these issues, I only used it once and didn’t feel it offered the convenience or safety I expected. Considering that, it didn’t feel like good value for money for us. While the seat has some clever features, like the 360° swivel and removable armrest, my experience showed several issues that make me hesitant to buy it. My baby slipped in the seat, the armrest left red marks on her legs, and the high back didn’t provide enough support. Because of these safety and comfort concerns, I wouldn’t feel confident using it regularly. I wouldn’t recommend it because, in my experience, the seat didn’t provide enough support or comfort for my baby. She slipped slightly while seated, and the armrest left red marks on her legs. While the design and swivel feature are clever in theory, the safety and comfort issues make it unsuitable for regular use with my baby. I wouldn’t feel confident suggesting it to other parents. The materials feel sturdy and it’s fairly easy to clean, but the issues with comfort and support meant I only used it once. Overall, it didn’t meet my expectations for safety, comfort, or value for money, so I wouldn’t recommend it for regular use. Fay Parasyri – Mia Rose 6.5 Months
