First impressions of the nappy rash balm was that the product was a good size and had nice packaging. I liked the colours of the packaging. My only suggestion would be that it’s not clear the product is for nappy rash. The packing says baby but not that it’s an actual nappy rash product. Good clear instructions on how to use the product most effectively. The product was easy to apply. The top layer of the product was of different texture but still ready to apply. This product absorbed into the skin nicely, without leaving it feeing oily. As stated above the texture of the top layer was grainy but rubbed in fine. This product was effective at moisturising, regenerating and softening baby’s skin in all areas not just skin on the bum for nappy rash. The nappy balm was effective when used on nappy rash but it didn’t improve the rash instantly, I had to apply it frequently. I used the cream after every nappy change which was usually every few hours. I noticed an improvement after about 24 hours of continuously using the nappy balm. I used the nappy balm on both my 14 month old and 3 year old who have dry skin behind their ears. The aroma was subtle, which was nice for a baby product. I mostly liked that the balm wasn’t oily and a little bit of balm goes a long way. I think £15 is good value as I’ve had the product for a few months and still have a lot left. The quality of the product is to a good standard and feels very nice. I would consider buying this product as it has proven to work and can be used on other areas of dry skin, whether on my baby or myself. I would recommend this product to others as It works well on nappy rash and dry skin to make it feel better. I am not personally drawn to organic and natural products. I use a range of different products.Good product that works well on babies skin without irritating it and improving nappy rash and dry skin. Happy baby nappy rash balm is a great product that goes a long way which is great value for money. The product is a great moisturiser for dry skin for the whole family. It leaves the skin feeling soft and doesn’t leave it feeling oily. The aroma is subtle and absorbs into babies skin soothing baby nappy rash. Kyleigh Haines – Noah 14 Months

I assumed it would come in a tube, but that’s why one shouldn’t make assumptions! Was a bit surprised there was no security seal, or packaging that would clearly demonstrate any tamper attempt. But that may just be because it was a sample. First thing I did was smell it and feel it. I loved that it was strongly scented, and it had a lovely melty texture. I was a bit surprised that you just went straight into the product, and that there wasn’t any tamper proof barrier. The label gives an artisanal, small batch impression. Didn’t notice any instructions. It’s to treat nappy rash. I just, whacked it on a bottom. It was super easy to apply, and goes on in a nice thin layer. It’s not gloopy or heavy. I wasn’t necessarily looking for it to absorb. I was looking to see if I thought it would provide a nice thin layer to allow my baby’s skin to recover. It certainly seemed to soften the skin. My baby sometimes gets ashy over her knees, and a quick lick of this worked wonders on that too. Well she didn’t suffer any soreness whilst I was using it on her. It’s a bit tricky to qualify those claims without a microscope. But there is empirical evidence that supports this in that it worked nicely on her (mild) eczema too. I used this for every home nappy change. I noticed improvement in nappy rash in about six hours. I used it on her ashy knees, and her eczema patches. Also on my elbows (it worked a treat). I did like the aroma. It was very gentle, i.e. not artificially perfumed. It smelt a bit woody, a bit sweet, and a teeny bit medicinal. I liked that this is multifunctional; works well on nappy rash, but is also multifunctional. So I could grab it if her skin looked a bit ashy, or her eczema patches were looking a bit itchy. I would not be able to justify paying that for it, but I think it’s perfect for mum’s looking for a lovely, natural product. And I know they would be happy to pay that for it. I think it’s a lovely quality product, that is very nice to use. It’s a somewhat aspirational product for me. I’d like to buy it, but I’d struggle to justify spending that much money on a nappy rash cream. I would recommend it to my friends who are looking for high-end, natural products. I would like to know if a product is natural and organic, however the price point of such products often rules them out for me. But I think if you’ve done the hard work, shout about it. I was a bit sceptical that I could get excited about a nappy rash cream, but I think this one is pretty neat. I like the multifunctionality if it, and like it’s natural and organic credentials. A great experience with a lovely product that’s lovely to use. Smells great, lacking the overpowering synthetic scent of other products. Nice and lightweight on the skin, allowing my baby’s skin to recover without the gloopy, greasy feel of other products I definitely put some on my gnarly elbows! Kristen Platt – Lark 21 Months

Nice packaging attractive safe recommend. Instructions good and straightforward. I found this waxy and not easy to apply. This still feels waxy on skin sometime after applying. I found this good as a barrier type cream. I found it felt cold and waxy in skin, would prefer one that disappears after applying. I used this daily. I did notice improvement in nappy rash about a week after using this cream. I did use this to also treat dry skin. I did like the aroma, and this is what I liked the most about this cream. I do agree this is value for money. Quality is good. I would not buy this as although worked I felt it had a waxy feel. I would recommend as a barrier cream. I do look for organic natural products for my baby. It was effective as barrier cream. I found this left waxy film on skin, depends on personal preference, I like sprays and light creams so this wasn’t for me. Katie England – Nico 7 Months
