Bibado Weaning Bib: Long-Sleeve Coverall Reviews

Lovely design, quality thickness and nice print. Making clean up easier, whilst being stylish and practical at the same is great for any parent. Very clear and easy to follow instructions. It was a simple clean job to attach to the highchair each time we used it and caught all the food with ease. The attachments underneath the bib were adjustable to make a comfortable fit on the highchair without overstretching the fabric. I used to have the Velcro version and I think the poppers are a great improvement. As after several washes with baby gaining strength she was able to pull off the Velcro ones from around her neck. Looks to be comfortable without irritation and generally complies each time I support her to wear it. Given that the wrists seal quite well I didn’t notice a huge difference shortening the length of the sleeves, so after a couple of uses I didn’t bother. The cuffs were comfortable for my daughter. Izzy has been able to continue eating her meal without issue and has looked comfortable throughout. Tomato stains took some scrubbing to shift. Otherwise wipe cleaning was easy. We would use this on average 4 times a week. I generally wash my children’s clothing daily, but this absolutely reduced changing after meal times and stopped any staining to clothes. We have not used this for creative play but I imagine this would be great. I liked the product, and the ease of which it is to clean. Thick fabric, good quality, easy product to use. I think £19.95 is expensive. £14 feels a good price for this product. I loved the ease of use. I would buy this. It is the best bib on the market in my opinion. But I would want one at home and one in the nappy bag, and I am not sure many people could justify spending £40 on bibs. I would recommend or gift this to someone as I am not sure many would prioritise spending that amount with all the other pressures becoming a parent / adding to your family. This is a great product. I was glad to have a new one – especially that the design has been improved by the poppers around the neck vs the Velcro. The design options were stylish and fresh. It is easy to clean and absolutely fit for purpose. Although I did not use this for craft, I know it would perform just as well keeping my child clean and dry for craft as well as meal times. I would recommend this product, although on the pricey side, for some I may buy as a gift instead, or advise to wait for a sale. Emily Clough – Isabella 17 Months

When it arrived I first noticed how lovely the colour and the patterns were, it seemed like really good quality, nice and thick. I think the concept is a good one- weaning at the start is messy, clothes are constantly being washed and so to try and minimise mess and further washing for parents makes sense. Easy to follow instructions. Dry food was easily collected but wet food/food that had come into contact with water/milk spills was hard to just wipe off and I had to regularly clean and wash the bib in the sink after each meal. Things like Weetabix/porridge especially would take some time to clean off. Mostly the bib stayed attached but after a meal/in between food my little one eventually did learn how she could pull it off. It fitted my daughter well around the neck and there was limited spills down the neck during usage. I did always use a dribble bib underneath though also. Mostly she seemed comfortable. But there were times she would get annoyed around the wrists and would try to pull at these when they were full length, she much preferred sleeve length when rolled back, otherwise she was very happy eating her meals in the bib. The popper adjustability on the sleeves worked really well, although my daughter seemed more irritated by the sleeves when they were full length so we mainly use it with the sleeves rolled back. As above, variable. She would largely tolerate the cuffs but could get irritated by them and would try to pull them off. Definitely kept my daughter dry and as comfortable as any other bib. This was the main downside of the bib, as we would have to wash it in the sink after most dinner times and then it would be wet and not ready always to use for the next meal. Mainly used at dinner time, due to it being too wet to use more frequently. This definitely protected her clothes at mealtimes. My daughter likes to drop/throw food and so unfortunately bib did not stop this. We have not used for creative play but would be good for this. Really liked the colour and pattern. Great quality, well thought out, really nice design. I think really useful product to have for weaning but not an essential as it does add to cleaning as you have to often clean the bib in the sink after use to be able to get all food off it. I liked the ease of use and how well It kept clothes clean and dry. I would buy this. Now I have used it I do think I would like to keep on using it. I would recommend. I think it is a good gift for friends and family and worth having, especially if little one is in a particular nice outfit for an occasion. A really nice bib, especially useful with little ones starting to wean if they are doing baby led weaning and getting stuck in with their hands. Great quality, lovely designs and well thought out for ease of use as well as keeping baby’s clothes clean and reducing need for washing clothes during mealtimes. Was very impressed, loved the print, design, ease of use and looked strong and durable. Great idea to protect clothing at meal times and also stop so much food going on the floor. Clear instructions. Found it easy enough to attach to our highchair and collected food that missed my daughters mouth with ease. The attachments underneath the bib were adjustable and once fitted ensured bib was safe and secure. This was very easy to adjust around my daughter’s neck to ensure a comfortable fit. She did not complain when this was used at meal times so I would say yes comfortable for her. The long sleeves were a good idea but my daughter preferred to have them rolled up. We did find the long sleeves better when we used this for painting and arts and craft play. Cuffs were easy enough to adjust and comfortable without being too restrictive. At meal times this kept her clothes protected, caught food when she missed her mouth well, just did not work when she threw her food. We found this easy to wipe down with wipes and put aside until needed to use later in the day. We used this daily for breakfast and dinner as lunch tends to be a snack meal. Definitely kept her clothes clean and less washing. I liked the ease of use, longevity of use and the fact it can be used at meal times and for painting activities. Great quality. For the versatility of use, durability yes value for money. I would buy this as always nice to have back up to take with us on our travels. I would recommend this for all the reasons above. We loved this. A great bib, easy to use, protects highchair and children’s clothes and can also be used for painting and creative play. We loved it. Stacy Armstrong – Joanne 15 Months
