It was smaller than I expected. I am unsure why, but I was sure it would be a lot bigger. I really liked it. My son has a very good memory, so this was great for challenging it.  Very clear and very concise instructions. They were extremely helpful.  He is very good with technology, so he was able to start playing as soon as it was unpackaged. My son really liked playing this game. He does have a good memory, so this was great to challenge him further. The game was addictive to a point. Certainly helps develop memory skills. I played this with game with him, and I have to say, we both became very competitive! To a point, yes good to keep entertained when travelling. However, after a while, my son did tire of it as it does get quite repetitive. He does enjoy playing with it for short bursts each day. He would play a  couple of times a day. He always plays it before bedtime. He has played them at home and when travelling in the car. The age suitability was ideal for my son. He enjoyed the different challenges and the fact his brain had to keep working. He also liked playing head to head with someone else. I like how it gets your brain working and thinking, whilst still being an item of technology. Really high quality and very strong. I do think this is good value for money. I would buy this.  I like the fact it’s still a technology item, but it actually helps keep the brain working and gets my son to think. I would recommend. It’s a great toy to keep children busy if they are out, travelling or just need something to do. Really good product. My son really enjoys playing with it. I would say it does get a bit repetitive, which my son found out for himself. But this is all down to personal opinion. We really enjoyed using it to play against each other. We really enjoyed testing this product. I loved how it took a simple memory game idea and made it electronic. It took my son away from watching mind numbing YouTube videos, and actually got him to use his brain effectively. Alicia Ward – Alfie 7 Years

To be honest my initial impression of this toy when it arrived was the packaging was a bit dull. I did like the try me button it’s great that the kids can try it on demo mode to see what they think when it comes to picking a toy in the shops. We liked the concept of this game. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. My son found this very easy to play and was quick to move onto advanced mode. My daughter is still playing it in standard mode. I have to say I’m nowhere near as good as the kids. This did challenge them and keep then entertained. My son keeps picking it up to beat his score and loves to try and do it as fast as he can. Daughter plays it in the car to try and keep her mind of her travel sickness it’s a great distraction.  This is great for the kids memory skills and great to get them to focus. My son loves to play this on two player mode with his older sister he loves the challenge and keeps playing till he beats her. This toy is great for traveling but have to say I’m so glad the volume can go off as it gets in your head after a little while. Both my children are playing with this a few times each week. The kids have played with this at home and when traveling in the car. We are going to take it on our next holiday as its small and light to take. Great game for our kids and have to say the adults in our household pick it up on the passing for a little turn. My children like the challenge of this game. I liked that it gave them something to focus on and that they keep playing to beat their score. This  toy is well made and think it will last for a long time it’s been dropped a few times and still works perfectly fine the packaging could be more environmentally friendly i think but overall not bad. I feel this toy is good value for money. I would buy this more so for taking in the car when traveling and  on holiday. I would recommend and I have already recommended to family to take on their holiday. Not full marks as I think packaging could be better but overall this toy is great value and will keep kids and adults challenged. Overall experience with brain bolt is very good kids and adults enjoyed playing  with it, It’s great for memory and focus. My youngest and I found it a lot more challenging  than the rest of house hold so I think we need more practice.  It’s a great addition to our family games night box. Irene Gilmour – Jemma & Hayden 11 & 14 Years

Looked bright and interesting and we were keen to give it a try. I think the idea of this game is excellent always good to improve your memory skills. Instructions were really easy to follow, no trouble at all. My son found the game easy to play, but you can increase the level and this was really good for him. This certainly kept Charlie entertained and he was always trying to improve his score.  Memory skills are so important in life so we all loved this game. I would say we all found it addictive.  My son certainly did but so did my husband and I and we really enjoyed this game too. A game that can enhance scanning and memory skills while the child is having fun is a Win Win for us. We all played this and challenged each other so we all became very competitive. Charlie has played this at home a lot, but we also took on a few short breaks this summer.  Was ideal to keep him entertained in the car and in the evening on holiday too.  This is neat and compact so can take anywhere. This has been played a couple of times every week. I am not sure it would be easy for a 7 year old to use but ideal age for my son. My son enjoyed the challenge and it has really improved his memory too. I liked that it is a game, not a laptop or phone and we all enjoyed the challenge this set for us all.  Quality is excellent. For the amount of times this has been used definitely great value for money. I am going to buy one for my nephew and niece as they enjoyed it so much when they came round to visit us.  I have already recommended. I would also say this would be good for people with dementia, as my father suffers from this and he got to grips with this game and seemed to give him a new lease of life.  Well he perked up a lot as his brain was active.  I would get this into Dementia and Alzheimer’s centres as it would be great to get their brains working and active. WE all loved this game and played against each other regularly.  Got us all together and we all became very competitive so we just loved it. Ashley Crouch – Charlie 9 Years
