Rafia Awarded The Water-art 10 pack sticker set 5/5
I was quite surprised but also thinking is it suitable for my child. I absolutely loved the concept and design. I thought it was very creative and extremely engaging for my child as well as the whole family. The instructions were very clear. I did have to re-read the instructions many times to get familiar with the steps on how to design and make thee stickers. My child on her own did struggle but only when it came to dipping the pallet into the water to get the design to float. But other than that, she really enjoyed it. Yes she did enjoy making her own creations. My whole family adults included even got involved in this sticker making activity. It was a very good way of getting the kids to use their imagination for the designs they chose either using the stencils or creations. My child made use of both the stencils as well as using her imagination and creativity. My daughter was over the moon when her first sticker came out ( the flower one). She was so proud and happily showing it off to her cousins. At first my daughter only wanted to collect them and keep it safe but eventually she started sticking them on her bed and books. It was amazing to see her follow the steps and carefully wait for the pallet to dry so she could choose her design. Then once dipped waiting again. It was impressive. She only placed her stickers in her notepad book and on her bed. The day it arrived my daughter practically played with it every day for almost two weeks. Her cousins would come round and ask her for the set so that they could start playing. My whole family, adults included as well as my nieces and nephews enjoyed getting creative with this. This did keep my daughter entertained. My daughter liked the fact that she was able to choose her own designs and make stickers which she could make and keep herself. I liked how my daughter was able to be creative and designing a sticker. Absolutely would make ideal Christmas or birthday gift. Absolutely. Great value for money and a perfect all round gift. Quality is absolutely amazing. The ceramic plate is so sturdy and strong and the quality of stencils and sticker pack is of very good quality. I would hands down 100% consider buying this. It is such a great entertaining and creative toy for not just children but even adults to play with too. Yes 100% would recommend as above being an all-rounder family engaging toy and fun. Absolutely Jem of an activity for not just children but adults too. At first I thought my child may struggle with this but after careful reading of the instructions and showing my child the steps to take numerous times my child got the hang of it. It is an extremely positive and entertaining toy that both children and adults will enjoy. We certainly did in our household. The quality of the products is of a gold star standard. Overall it is a great toy and my family and I including my child thoroughly enjoyed using it. Rafia Mohammed – Daughter 4 Years

Andrea Awarded The Water-art 10 pack sticker set 3.7/5
When this item arrived it was presented in a lovely colourful box with lots of colourful designs on it, which makes it very appealing to the children and they couldn’t wait to get stuck in and try it. Upon opening the box there was some little individual paper enveloped that encased different parts of the product and this was nice to see as they are easily recyclable. The concept and design are great as its everything a child loves doing mixed into one, drawing, stencils, water and making their own creations. The instructions are very in depth and split into different sections making it easier to read and follow, they do go into great detail about making sure everything is dry and waiting the correct time frames for designs which was a great help. The first part of this activity is very easy so choosing a design and then colouring it onto the paddle is super fun but as soon as it came to the dipping in water and transferring the design onto a sticker sheet, they became very frustrated. The Issue we had was getting the design to come off the paddle in 1 piece as it seemed to struggle transferring into the water even when placed gently and then by the time you get the sticker into the water the design does not look like the original creation. At times though the creation was fine and worked perfectly so it did seem to be a bit of trial and error, and the frustration outweighed the rest. When they could get them to work, they absolutely loved making the creations and seeing them as a sticker made their day, you get lots of coloured pens and stencils to make some wonderful creations with, so they loved getting to be artistic. They loved using the stencils to start with but also had a lot of turns creating their own designs to see what they would turn out like, we had tractors, robots and spooky designs for Halloween. When the design worked well and they were able to create a lovely sticker they thought it was magical and was giving them to everyone in the family, even some of the designs that didn’t work quite so well made a lovely patter on the sticker sheet so was still usable. My child has created their own sticker book filled with the designs they have managed to create. My child has definitely enjoyed making their own sticker book, the paper is really good as the stickiness is amazing and so sticks so well into the book. It is easy to cut into the shape as well and to peel the paper off to stick the stickers down. The few designs that have come out well have been put onto their toy box and the rest have all gone into a special book that’s been created for this activity to look at all the different creations. My child likes playing with this set but will spend around half an hour doing it before starting to get frustrated and moving onto something else, they do go back to it though and it has definitely provided them with some great entertainment especially the creating their own design part. Both children had a go at the activity as they really enjoyed watching what was happening and wanting to create their own masterpiece and stickers. I also had a turn to see if I was any better at getting the designs to come off the paddle and transferring any easier although even as a grown adult I struggled to. The set itself is very entertaining as they can draw and design as well as use the lovely stencils that are provided so they enjoyed making different versions of the designs and then seeing what happens with them, we did find the smaller things and more straight forward designs were the ones that transferred easiest. They liked creating the designs and trying so hard to get them off of the paddle without them breaking/curling up. I love the fact that you can literally open it up and off you go. It opens a world for them to be creative but also expand that communication as they talk to me about what they are making which has been lovely to listen to. I do think it would make a good gift ad you do get a lot out of it but I do think the issue with not transferring well into the water needs to be looked at a little more to avoid such frustrations, it’s great for the art and design side and the stickers are amazing when you get the perfect one completed. This is definitely value for money as you get a really nice set that includes stencils, paddle, pens, sticker transfer sheets. And it does provide a good amount of entertainment for the children, and it gets used over and over again making it good for longevity. The quality is great the pens are beautiful colours and a good array of them, the paddle is solid and easy to clean and dry, and the stencils are also really robust and well-made and clean easily if little ones draw over the sides. The sticker sheets are made really well with a really good backing on them and the stickiness if perfect as they do not fall off when you stick them down. This is a very in the middle answer of weather I would buy it or not. I do think overall I would as its not too expensive and it does provide the children with a great activity to keep attempting, for me the frustration I have seen is a little disheartening to see as they create such lovely things and then for it to just shrivel or not work is so sad. I would recommend it and would say to them to be prepared as it could cause people to become frustrated, but I think with a lot of patience and maybe an older child this could be quite a good learning activity, and you really need to keep persevering to get them to work. This is such an attractive product, and it has so much potential I think it just needs a little bit of a clue as to how you can get really good designs into the water without the constant upset and having them ruin so easily, the products it come with are great and the stencils are fab and the pens and the choices you get are amazing, so it does give lots of fun for the children to use it, which is why it still gets a good mark as it’s still a good overall activity. The overall concept of this product is so good, and it definitely has the children intrigued and engaged waiting to try it out. You open the lovely, designed box to reveal pens, stencils, a paddle and sticker sheets and all you need is a pot of water and you are good to go. My child absolutely loved using the stencils and also free hand drawing their own designs onto the paddle. Our biggest issue was with the paddle going into the water and getting it to consistently work, On the odd occasion it did work but more than not it failed and either curled or just messed up as soon as it went into the water, this created a lot of upset for my child who had made such lovely designs for it then to be ruined. When the transfer into the water did work it was amazing and it was so lovely to see their happy face, they transferred them onto the sticker sheets provided and we have been making a lovely book with the designs in. There have been some designs that have messed up going into the water and they have actually come out looking beautiful in their own right. My child has spent quite a lot of time going back and forth to this activity though which shows determination and it has taught them to be so patient as you just need to keep going until you manage to get the desired outcome. Overall, this is a lovely product and with a little bit of patience and maybe a tweak it could be a 5/5 product as it really does have great foundations to it.
