Children’s Dry Night Trainer

Bedwetting (or Nocturnal Enuresis) is common in children and young people. Alarm Treatment is a common and effective method of training children and young people out of bedwetting. The Dry Night Trainer resembles a child’s watch and operates as a bedwetting alarm which can be worn on either of the child’s wrists. The alarm has two sensors which discreetly loop through the sleeve of the pyjamas, through to the underwear in order to detect any droplets of urine.
When the sensor reacts to wetness an alarm will sound – waking the child up to alert them that they need to use the toilet. The alarm will then stop to allow the child to use the toilet and return to sleep.Using the Progress Chart (see ‘User Manuals’) you can track your child’s progress and introduce a reward scheme for positive continence behaviour to encourage the child to want to succeed.Over time, the child will learn to associate the feeling of a full bladder with needing to wake up and go to the toilet, and others will learn to ‘hold on’ and will continue sleeping without releasing their bladder. When the child remains dry for fourteen nights in a row, the bedwetting alarm is no longer needed. When the bedwetting alarm has not been used and the child still manages to keep dry, the training is considered successful.SAFETY:The Dry Night Trainer is an advanced device that makes use of miniature electronics. The currents being used in the sensors to measure humidity are extremely low and therefore absolutely safe. The Trainer adheres to all required medical standards.

A really good
idea that encourages children to stay dry overnight. Packaging Very colourful
and easy to see what is included in the package. Very clear and easy to follow
instructions. Good quality and very colourful. I found after a week of using this
son Paul whom I was finding it hard to train overnight it just seemed to click
with him. I was most impressed that it happened so quickly and I have had no
accidents since. It encourages children to stay dry overnight so for me it
would be well worth the price for the results I got. I would recommend this
product for anyone who is having problems trying to get their child to stay dry
overnight. I do think a lot depends on when a child is ready but this product
also helps them in my opinion. I found it a very effective way to engage with
your child and help them to stay dry overnight. For me it worked very well as
an aid to help and support my child get the final piece to help him stay dry
overnight. Maybe he was ready but up to that I have had some good nights and
then wet again and I had not got more than 2 days together before he wet again
before using this. After 1 week of using this I have not had 1 wet night yet so
fingers crossed he has finally reached staying dry overnight. Suitable for your
child when you think they are ready for night training. My child is 4 but had
not mastered staying dry overnight. Using this product I have found it was
exciting for him and maybe this focused him more but after 1 week of being hit
and miss with more wet nights than dry nights it suddenly clicked and he has
been great since! I would certainly recommend trying this product and hopefully
you will get as good a result as I have! Margaret Brennan – Paul 4 years

Looked
interesting and was kind of keen to see if this would work as still having
trouble keeping Lillian dry at night.
Packaging is good and you can clearly see the product you are purchasing
and what it does. Instructions were informative and easy to follow. I must admit I was not sure if my daughter to
work with this, but after a few times she seemed to get used to this. Although she did like the colourful wrist
band she needed to wear so that helped.
This has sensors in it to detect any wetness. If the sensor detects little bit of wetness
it will set of the alarm. This wakes
them up and helps them to understand they need to go to the bathroom. Not the normal system but after a few weeks I
really noticed a difference and we were having dry nights. We have been using this for a while now and
she has been dry for over a week. You
might look at this and think expensive but a subtle way to train their minds to
wake up when they need to go to the toilet and all their own doing. So for us yes well worth the money. Such a relief to walk into the bedroom each
morning and not having to change sheets and clean bedding a life saver. I had
never seen anything like this before and would not have given it a second
glance in a store. Now I have tried this
and it does work then I would purchase for my son when we need to train at
night and I have already recommended.
Took a little while for my daughter to get used to this with the wrist
strap and sensors which go through her pyjama sleeves to underwear to detect
any wetness. She liked the wrist strap
as colourful and once used to wearing it was not a problem. Took a while but now we are dry at night and
that is all down to her doing it herself with the help of the dry night
trainer. Sally Shaw – Lillian 4 years

Came at the
right time as was encountering a few problems trying to get Jack dry at
night. Good quality packaging and
clearly shows the product. Instructions
clear. I found this fairly simple to use
and Jack did not complain too much. Once
we got into a routine I was pleasantly surprised that this was making a
difference. He like wearing the watch band
as he felt grown up. Had a few mishaps
at first but trial and error prevails and we are now enjoying dryer
nights. I think this is a really good
idea and totally different to anything else I have seen or thought of using for
my other children when they were younger.
Results were slow but really making a difference now. Price I thought was high at first but after
seeing how it works does represent good value for money. Quality is very good. I would buy this again if I have more
children. I have also mentioned this to
quite a few of my friends as they were intrigued how it worked and a few of
them will be purchasing one. Was unsure
at first but this really has helped us with keeping Jack Dry at night and in no
time I am sure we will enjoy totally free dry nights thanks to this little
gadget. Easy to use and does work. Elaine
