I love the fact that you get a DVD and Audio CD, it’s a shame the case isn’t child proof, but the cover is fun and appealing and it is in a standard DVD case making it easy to store. Easy to navigate, just watch and go. As an adult I have to admit to really enjoying it as well, it is on the list of about 5 kids shows that I actually like, most I can barely tolerate but Chuggington’s is fun, the stories are well thought
through and they are really enjoyable. I may get a little annoyed if we start an episode and he gets distracted, I want to know what happens in the end! There are loads of episodes on the DVD so you’ve got plenty to keep you peeps entertained and the audio CD is great as well, he listens to it at nap time. My little boy loves Chuggington’s, he can hear the music from a different room and he’ll be by the TV like a whippet! He enjoys the music and the stories keep him engaged and entertained. I do believe that he does enjoy the stories; he will sit through a whole episode and actually watch which a minor miracle is for a toddler. This in my opinion is 100% a fun DVD I do not view it as educational, yes in has life lessons like team work, friendship and hard work, but it isn’t particularly educational and unless you count him having perfected his train whistle sound, he hasn’t learnt anything from it. It’s perfect both in picture and audio quality; I can’t say much more than that really, I can’t fault it. I always thought it was pointless buying a kids DVD when there are 24/7 shows on TV, but if you have ever been stuck in a hotel room (with a DVD player of course), had a sick child that only likes a select few shows or just needed a shower safe in the knowledge they are actually being entertained and not wreaking havoc upon your house then this is worth its weight in gold!! I would purchase this. I would also recommend to any mum, dad or carer that will listen to me. I now sing the Chuggington’s song to myself at work but child, mummy and daddy are all happy and really enjoy their ‘Chuggers’ time. Briony Stebbings – Leo 19 Months

Looks good and value for money with free cd. The content was good, Lasted for over an hour. My son was glued to the screen for the full length of the DVD. My son loved this DVD and he would also watch with his brother when he came home from school. I think the stories all have a lesson to be learned. The quality is very good. I think for the money it is good value, especially with the free cd if your child likes it. My son is a fan of all things to do with trains and this kept him occupied for over an hour so it gets my thumbs up! Definitely a must for train fans. The DVD was good quality and kept my child engaged. The CD was switched off after about 2 minutes as my son said it was “boring”. DVD was good entertaining and kept my son entertained. I was really impressed with the packaging. The DVD was quite interesting to watch. He was really interested in it as he liked watching the pictures and listening to the music. My son absolutely loved the story. I don’t think he learnt much from it he did pick up a few words they used in the DVD nothing else. The quality of this DVD is very good. I do feel this is a bit pricey but would look to purchase if I saw it on offer. I have already recommended to friends who have boys who love Chuggington.
