I really liked the overall look book nice pastel colours simple looking but effective. I really liked the quality of the book the paper felt expensive and the cover had a nice sheen to it. My Son Travis loved the look of the book he likes topics on the ocean and was happy to see the book was about that. He found the creature extremely funny as he was sitting on the sting ray. Travis really liked the illustrations as they were very colourful and child friendly. Broke up the story too so he could have a break from reading as he can find that a struggle. Travis really enjoyed reading this story he loves learning and this book meant he could do it in a fun way. Travis really liked the story line and he happily read with ease. This is a stimulating book. Travis really likes learning about the ocean. He loved talking with me about the pictures and learning about the creatures in the ocean. In my honest opinion I really liked look of the book I liked the font style and the drawings too. I wasn’t sure if the book was aimed at girls as the colour style was mainly pastels and pinks. However this didn’t bother Travis and he happily read and enjoyed the book. We would buy more books from this author. We really liked the story line, would be nice to have more books about different subjects. The book had a really nice story line with the added bonus of learning without even knowing you are learning. I think this was age appropriate as suited Travis who is 8 years old. Also a nice book to read to a younger child too as you cans also show them the pictures. I really felt the quality of the book was top. Nice soft pages and the front cover had a nice sheen to it and the worlds were easy to read and clear. Value for money yes and no as would probably be nicer maybe being a hard back book. We really liked the story line and the pictures were really a nice touch. We would buy this book. I would recommend as a nice child friendly book for most ages. We really enjoyed reading this book sometimes my son finds it hard to read he can get bored very easily but this book he didn’t. The pages are nicely spread out with nice drawings in between to have a break from reading we spent time looking at the pictures and discussing what we saw. A great story line that didn’t make the book boring.Making learning fun, a great read, simple yet not boring, beautiful illustrated one of a kind. Nicola Bradbury-Hulls – Travis Age 8 years

Hand written envelope, looked good quality, colourful, clear easy to read text. Nice weight, thick pages – colourful and clear text and pictures. The front cover wasn’t incredibly inspiring and didn’t give much information away. However after reading the blurb on the back she was very interested to read more. Beautiful pictures, colourful and clear. Interesting to read and informative however there were some complicated words and phrases that a 7 year old wouldn’t normally understand / use. Enjoyed reading it very much. There were some complicated words and phrases that a 7 year old wouldn’t normally understand / use. Therefore its better that it’s read with an adult, to explain. This is a stimulating book as informative explaining about ecosystem in the sea. Lovely concept and very interesting to read. I would look to purchase more books from this author dependent on what the topic was. Not particularly ideal age group for my daughter.I think it is aimed at slightly older children with a wider vocabulary and understanding. Certainly a good quality book nice thick pages and colourful and clear text and pictures. I’m so out of touch with prices of children books but I do think £6.99 is a fair price to pay. I really liked the pictures -because they complemented the story well. I probably would not purchase at the moment -because I felt that my daughter was possibly a little young for it. In the future I would. I would recommend for children of an older age. Lovely concept – colourful pictures and interesting story. Enjoyable to read with my daughter at bedtime.  Sarah Miles – Holly 7 years

I really liked the front cover, inviting, well designed and colourful. Loved the hand written note from the author too, nice touch.Good quality book, nice shiny cover which my daughter could not wait to pick and start to read. Paper quality good and it will withstand lots of handling. My daughter was intrigued by the front cover and wanted to start reading straight away. The illustrations in the book are very good and bring the story to life. We read this book together and my daughter really enjoyed the story. She loves anything about the ocean and the story captured her imagination and she actually learnt a lot too. Reading through the book she would ask lots of questions which is really good as this shows the book is stimulating her mind and imagination. She loved the story and the message it had to help protect our oceans. She could read some of it herself, a few words she did not understand but we talked through these. The text is big and bold so easy for her to read. I really liked this book, good story and lovely illustrations and helped my daughter learn about the ocean and the animals underneath the sea. I did like the way the book was written and I will check out other books by this author for the future. The book is well put together and the front cover is shiny so easy to wipe clean and it looks like it will last, as I am sure this is a book we will keep around for a while and keep going back to. The book is reasonably priced compared to others on the market. I would buy this book as a gift for nephew and niece. I would recommend this book as a good read, nice story and also can be read by older child and for younger children parents can enjoy reading the story to them at bedtime. We both really enjoyed this book, a lovely story with really sweet illustrations that did bring the story to life. Yvonne Philpot – Mimi 8 Years
