Nicely packaged and good quality. My children love playing in the mud outside and ‘helping’ to garden so it was a great idea to get them involved. Instructions good although the kit is rather self-explanatory. Both boys enjoyed planting the carrots and using the tools to dig. This did spark interest in gardening and we talked about other vegetables they could grow. They now want to have their own vegetable patch. My 2 year old seemed to be more engaged with this toy than the four year old. This was played with most days whilst out in the garden. This is ideal for indoor and outdoor play. My boys play with the different pieces in many ways. This was played with most days. Mostly used outdoors. This was enjoyed with family. It’s good to keep it environmentally friendly as toys can be so disposable. They enjoyed the tools to dig in the mud. I liked that they could play with the different parts in lots of different ways. I believe this is right age group as both my 2 and 4 year old enjoyed it whilst it being safe with no small parts. Very easy to keep clean which is important as it was played with both in and outdoors. Good value for money. I would buy this as it is something that has kept both the boys attentions and has been very much enjoyed. I would recommend especially if their children enjoy helping in the garden. Great product of good quality that kept the children’s interest for a long time. Freya Morrish – Kit and Theo – 4 & 2 Years

Loved it, fantastic idea. Great use of recycled plastic. No need for instructions as the toy is self-explanatory. Ella enjoyed this toy but it was not a firm favourite. This is an easy clean way to introduce gardening to children. As this set was limited to certain types of vegetables it was not as entertaining as it could have been. This was played with once a week. This is an ideal toy to play with all year round. If there was more to it, this may have kept her more entertained. This was mostly played with I the lounge. Ella mostly enjoys playing alone. There’s too much single use plastic, so if manufacturers can reuse items then this is better for the environment and this toy ticks that box. Ella liked the carrots best. I liked the concept of the toy. I agree age suitability is good but needs ore o keep them entertained for longer. We didn’t have the need to clean, so unable to answer, but I image a warm cloth would do the trick if required. I find plastic in the dishwasher comes out with a film over it and requires further cleaning. Regarding good value yes and no,
although there’s a lot of accessories ultimately it may be better to but the watering can and tools separately and the pots and vegetables in a separate box allowing for more variety. We tend to buy wooden toys, also she already plays in the garden itself so we already have pots in the garden. I would recommend this especially if they don’t have the opportunity to have a garden. The product is lovely, the way it is made is great for the environment. But ultimately it didn’t hold her attention for too long as there was only carrots to play with in vegetable terms. Great product, thankful that we had the opportunity to try it and will look at the whole range in the future. Emma Marks – Ella 2 Years 6 Months

I liked the look of the product and my daughter was excited to play with it. I like the concept of it, we have a greenhouse in the garden and my daughter has helped me before and this let her have her own set of tools which were safe for her to use. My daughter enjoyed it. I think this is a good kit for kids to learn as it’s a safer alternative but also sturdy so it can handle a bit more rough play from a toddler. My daughter liked helping me with growing vegetables in the past but even more so now she has her own set. This did keep her entertained. This has been played a lot in the garden. My daughter likes the pre-filled pot with the toy carrots in it and pretends to cook them up for us. It’s good for imaginative play in the colder months but my daughter is keen to use it in the same way she sees me growing plants etc. She plays with the carrots and filled pot a lot and as mentioned pretends she has grown them and then cooks them. This has been played with indoors and outdoors and my daughter enjoys using the watering can to pretend to water the plants. I wouldn’t say my daughter really played with this with others other than using the carrots. I tend to the garden and plants at home so really it was just us playing with it. I was really happy for my daughter to get a more environmentally friendly toy that’s also durable. Often plastic toys do break when toddlers are using them so it’s good to know they’re fully recyclable. She definitely likes the watering can and also the pre-filled pot with the carrots. I like the fact it is durable and a safe alternative for my daughter to use and allows us to do these tasks together. I would agree with age suitability, my daughter is 3 and I feel this is a really good age for this toy as she has a better understanding of what it’s for and how to use it. I’ve found most times it’s easy enough to just wipe the toys clean. Personally a bit on the expensive side. I don’t believe I would buy this product but it’s purely down to the price. It’s a good toy and my daughter has really enjoyed it but if I was in the shops and saw this for the price it is I feel it’s a bit too expensive. I appreciate part of this is probably down to the materials used etc but I think if it were slightly cheaper I would buy it. I would recommend it to friends and family if they wanted to get their kids involved in the garden. Both myself and my daughter really like this product. The only setback I would say is the cost. We really enjoyed this toy. It’s durable, I like the colours, it’s made my daughter excited about helping in the garden and given her a safe alternative to allow her to help me. I can see us using this a lot more in the warmer months and I’m excited for us to have this time together with the peace of mind she will be safer than if they were metal.
