This looks very good quality, I was very eager to try this
product as I recently got an iPad2 which is getting used a lot for work. They
are very expensive and something to protect it is essential. The name like
"defender” makes it sounds very durable. After opening and first using the case
it felt very heavy and it was a bit harder to use the home button. The packaging
was nice, not too excessive either. The packaging had a sort of
industrial/heavy duty feel to it, which really suits the product as it’s meant
to be very hard wearing and keep your iPad nice and safe. The instructions were
easy to follow, but I had a slight struggle getting the case onto my iPad; some
parts were quite stiff. After using this product for several weeks, I have
really grown to love it. Although I
haven’t dropped my iPad using it yet, I’m sure if I did it would be just fine!
The OtterBox is a bit heavier and bulkier than your standard case, but it is
very durable and it is built to really protect your iPad. I really like the front cover which doubles
as a stand too, it’s extremely handy. I work in a florist and I use my iPad at
work every day so it’s good to know it’s well protected. I do feel safe handing
my iPad over to Hal; my son and I use it regularly to watch videos and play
games together and with the case installed I feel my iPad will be safe if I
need to nip out the room for a minute. The silicone outer case would help to
cushion any falls and the screen protector means my son can’t easily damage the
screen. At £69.99 it is not cheap, but if you are using your iPad for work and
it’s getting bashed about quite a bit it’s definitely worth buying. If I had
the spare money to buy it then yes I would buy this case. It’s very solid and
sturdy and it is great for me to protect my iPad at work. The inbuilt stand is
brilliant too. Any other case I have used never really held my iPad up that
well, but the OtterBox has a good sturdy stand that fold away nice and neatly. I
have actually recommended this product to quite a few of my friends already. It’s
a great product to protect my precious iPad! The OtterBox case is a great
product and does exactly what it is built to do. It took a bit of getting used
to though as it is quite heavy and bulky compared to other iPad cases. I carry my iPad around a lot for work and I
don’t want it getting damaged at work or in transit. The OtterBox keeps it well protected and is
very heavy duty. The case has a hard shell, with a screen protector, then an
outer silicone case and a hard front cover that also doubles as a stand for
your iPad. It is quite fiddly trying to get your iPad into the case but you
know it will be well protected in all the layers of casing. I really love the
inbuilt stand in the cover of the case, it is very handy and it just folds away
when you’re not using it. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it if you are
serious about protecting your iPad. I use my OtterBox all the time and I’m always

This product looked robust and hardwearing. I thought the
packaging was very eye catching. The instructions were good and very clear. The
quality of the product is excellent. My daughter uses our iPad most days and
this item gave me the confidence to hand the iPad over to her knowing that even
if she threw it on the floor then it wouldn’t break. I do feel that this
product is quite expensive to buy. I would still recommend it to others. Overall
I think that this item is very good. It is lovely and robust and can certainly
withstand being dropped several times by my 4 year old plus being dribbled on
by my 1 year old! The only problem we had with it was that the main ‘home’
button was very difficult to press for us as well as for our 4 year old. Tina

I was a bit disappointed when I first saw this product as it looked quite plain. I thought the packaging was a nice design. The instructions were quite poor even with diagrams as I couldn’t work out how to open the product which took 20 minutes of reading and them gave up and went on YouTube and sorted it that way. When I took my iPad out at end of reviewing I had the same problem and couldn’t get it out; it took 30 minutes and then referred to YouTube again for help. The quality if the material is good quality. My iPad was well protected when using this but I do feel that it is expensive. My experience didn’t start well as I couldn’t work out how to put on the product. I feel the design could be improved and different colours and patterns were available this would make it more appealing, as the product does protect the iPad from damage and does do what it says it does protect your iPad. Sharon Gration
