The Oil Pastels have a really nice texture to them. They are creamy rather than dusty and chalk-like like traditional pastels. The colours blended well and were really bright and vivid. They’re really easy to use, just like a crayon really. All three children enjoyed using them; however I wouldn’t buy them for Ruby. I’m not sure how easily the colours would come off walls and furniture and I didn’t really want to put that element to the test! The boys enjoyed using them, especially Jake who enjoys his art lessons at school anyway. They’re priced quite reasonably at £11.99 for 36 colours; however I wouldn’t buy them for everyday use or for younger children like Ruby. They would have to be a kept for the boys to use for their art lessons and homework.  Kate Warner – James 14, Jamie 11 & Ruby 5

Was impressed when these arrived looked colourful and good quality.  These pastels have a really good texture.  They are creamy and give a good finish.  The range of colours on offer extensive and colours are very vivid.  Really easy to use.  Rory is very into his art so has been asking me for Oil pastels for a while.  He really took to these and produced some very colourful designs and drawings.  Ideal for his art classes and we will be purchasing more in the future.  Very good price at £11.99 for 36 and Rory has been using these for ages so a good investment.  Ideal for any artist in the family.  Have already recommended to others.  Paul Smith – Rory 9

We had been looking at oil pastels in the local art shop as Emily was keen to try some out at home, so we were very pleased when these arrived.  These oil pastels have a great texture, easy to hold and they produce colourful vibrant pictures and designs.  They are soft and creamy in texture and very easy to use.  We have these in a special case and Emily has loved using these oil pastels.  Emily has become very creative and really has stimulated her interest in art.  Good value for money as you get a set of 36 for £11.99.  If you have a child who likes art and wishes to experiment these are perfect.  The website is also very informative and lots of helpful tips and ideas.  Never realised so much was on offer from one website.  A good investment.  Maybe not for younger children as could imagine them using these to colour doors and walls!  Ideal for Emily and we will be purchasing more.  Have already recommended to friends and taken along to my art class.  Well I am a beginner but these have been great fun to use.  Madeline Armitage – Emily 10
