Difrax Wide Neck Feeding Bottle

Due to it’s S-shape this feeding bottle is the first to encourage the baby to lie in the recommended natural position whilst the feeding adult can sit in a relaxed, ergonomically sound position. Can be used from birth. Suitable for combining breast-feeding and bottle-feeding. The 300 ml version fits the Avent breast pump. The bottom air valve prevents a vacuum being created when baby sucks and ensures a constant flow of milk. The combination of the unique S-shaped design with the valve means that the baby sucks in less air, which helps to prevent colic, burping and vomiting. The specially developed teat with textured soft finish feels like a mother’s breast. The non-spill cap has scales and a soft top for sucking on. The unscrewable base makes for easy cleaning and filling with breast milk frozen into cubes. Handles for the S-bottle can be purchased seperately.

Quirky, bright and fun! The packaging is great it contained loads of information about the product and was really informative. The bottles appear to be very good quality and robust.  I think they will last the duration of the time I will be bottle feeding my baby. The measuring gauge was very easy to read.  These bottles are filled from the bottom which is something totally unique – I was a bit unsure about it at first but it really is no different to filling from the top. The bottle is extremely comfortable to hold whilst feeding. The anti colic benefit really helped my baby.  We used a different brand before that promised anti-colic but wasn’t really effective.  I noticed after a couple of days of using these that the colic was definitely less severe. The bottle was very easy to take apart, wash, sterilize and reassemble. These bottles offered enough of a benefit to make them value for money.  I have since bought some more and have stopped using my other bottles. These bottles are quirky but practical – offering a real improvement to Milly’s colic. Thanks Difrax! Melissa Cleverley – Baby Milly 4 Months

My first impressions were that the product was an unusual shape with a great vibrant design. The packaging was really informative and the leaflet enclosed showed how the bottle worked and other products available. Although the quantity of the pack was good enough for my needs a multipack would have been more useful. The feeding bottle is very well made and sturdy. The measuring gauge is very easy to read. The bottle even had a measuring gauge on the lid to pour unused milk into it so you can tell how much is left for the baby. You have to fill the bottle from the bottom which was quite different but once I got used to it I found it very easy. All of the milk stays at the end to stop air, so feeding and holding is made much easier. I think the new shaped bottle is very good at reducing wind intake. It’s also very easy to clean because it comes apart easily although putting it back together can take some practice. The bottle does not leak when travelling but I think it is rather expensive for one only bottle. But I will continue to use it because it’s great for reducing wind whilst feeding and I would definitely recommend this product to others, especially for babies with Colic. A very nice looking feeding bottle. The quality is very good, because the teat is soft and the bottle is bigger than most other brands. The measuring gauge is very easy to read when filling the bottle and it’s simple to fill it with liquid. It’s also very comfortable to hold whilst feeding my baby. It’s very quick and simple to assemble and disassemble. It’s also very easy to clean and it fits in my Avent microwave sterilizer. The bottle doesn’t leak when travelling but I feel it is quite expensive when compared to other brands. I do not think the design of this product could be improved in any way but I am not sure if I will continue to use it because I don’t understand the benefits of the bottle being the shape that it is, however it does work extremely well.
