We were all surprised how big it was and how cool it looked. I really liked the sound of it. My youngest likes lights on to go to sleep with so I thought that would be nice. My eldest loves everything to do with space so the images to look through sounded amazing. I liked how it looked like a space rocket it added to the whole experience. It was very stable on its legs. It was interesting that you could turn it to use both ends. The instructions were very brief, I would have liked a bit more information. I was also disappointed that there was no labels or names to go with the slides so that we could learn them as we went through. It was fine for the planets but for some of the other images it would have been nice to have a list of the names of what the images showed. Both children found this easy to use and could use it independently after being shown how it works. They both loved it. They felt like they were in space. The two projector modes work great. They did sometimes want to use it when it wasn’t dark but rushed to close the curtains. This is a superb educational toy and great to go through the images and names of the planets. They both enjoyed it. They would just go through the slides over and over again. They had a lot of questions about the images of nebulas etc, which is why I would have liked some names with them. The real life spaceship and observatory equipment was easy to adjust and the children could do it on their own. They loved the shape and thought it was either a rocket or a robot. It kept both of them entertained and consistently over many nights. One or both of them used almost every night. We used it together in the living room but it was mainly used in the children’s bedrooms. It is a great item and is a lovely way for them to view and learn about space and they could feel immersed in it. I think that the age suitability  is about right. It was great for my 8 year old but my 3 year old got a lot out of it too and it is never too young to start to learn the names of the planets. They loved being able to go through all the images over and over again. They loved the colours in the images, being able to see it all so clearly. I loved it all but loved that the stars aren’t just stars and have constellations in. Great quality, lovely images and great stable item. It is a great item and the children really enjoy it but it is maybe a little more expensive than I would like. Especially as there was no information to go along with the slides. I would consider buying it. Lots to learn from it. I would recommend as I think children that aren’t even interested in space at first would love to go through these images. Great item, easy to use for children. Lovely images. Wonderful spaceship design. It has been great for us all to look at together as well as the children having quiet time with it. Has led to some great discussions and learning. Claire Brain – Emily & Kate 8 & 3 Years

Looked very interesting, children were excited. I thought it would  provide good education value. The design is very futuristic. Instructions very easy to understand. My children found this very easy to use. They loved exploring the Universe and all extremely interested as one is in the middle of a space project. The two projector modes work well and they enjoyed this aspect of the toy.  This is a very educational toy. They were always excited to use this and liked the interaction with the projector.  They really liked the spaceship and the fact that they could  operate it themselves.  This certainly kept them entertained and they enjoyed naming the planets. This was used most days. This was used at home during home schooling and at bedtime. This is  ideal for our little boy who is doing space projects.  I think the age suitability is ideal and could be boring for younger children. They loved the fact it was interactive toy and very informative.  They also used it as a lamp at bedtime. I liked the fact is was educational as well as a toy. Very robust been dropped a couple of times and stood up to the rough and tumble. Very good value as educational toy and very strong. I would buy this as a gift. I would recommend due to the educational value. Strong toy educational  and interactive. Value for money robust  multi use, interactive. Janice Hope – Cara 8 years

Was impressed when this arrived and looked very good. Brilliant product and features. Really well thought out having 2 separate features which are interchangeable. Product very easy to use therefore we did not need to follow the instructions. Both children quickly got to grips with what the projector does and how to use it. They have both enjoyed exploring the Universe in their bedrooms, it has been great for imaginary play. The two projector modes worked fantastically. We have had stationary star lights previously and both children were never really interested whereas with these being moving stars they find it really relaxing and calming at bedtime. The stationary aspect is very educational. This is a great educational toy and both children have asked/ learnt more about the solar system and have shown a great interest. They thoroughly enjoy being able to rotate the disc/ images on their wall. They have asked many questions relating to the solar system and the images are fantastically clear in a dark room. They loved the real life spaceship and observatory equipment and very easy for both children to adjust when needed. This has kept both of them entertained and the projector has had lots of use. Both children absolutely love this and use it every night on the star setting as a night light, they take it in turns every night. They have been using it at night time as their night light. We have tried to find lights previously like this but haven’t found one where the stars move like on this one which they really love. This is ideal to introduce them to the solar system and science and the pictures are very clear. I would say this can be enjoyed by children of all ages. My 4 year old absolutely loved this light and has taken an interest in solar systems since using. They loved the moving stars. I liked the moving stars and the ability to have stationary pictures also. Very well made and should last for many years. I feel this is very good value. I would buy this as a great educational toy and perfect as a night light. I would recommend as this offers so much. Really pleased with this product and it has quickly become a new favourite item in our house for the children. Fantastically thought out projector with dual aspect of stationary and motion pictures. Brilliant for the imagination of little ones and educational- would definitely recommend. Charlotte Evans – Layla and Finley 7 & 4 Years
