I thought the cup was quite a large size for fitting into a feeding bag, but it has a nice colour and a good, soft spout. The quality of the beaker seems to be very good and the lid did not add any extra bulk weight to it. The drinking spout is nice and soft but my child found it difficult because of the anti-spill valve (she did eventually get used to it). I found it difficult to clean the spout due to the texture, especially after using it when Olivia had been eating anything tomato based, but it’s really good value for money for the size of the beaker, but also due to the reputable name of Dr Browns. It’s a great product but just slightly too bulky for our feeding pod (we have a Pacapod changing bag) good quality, good brand name, non spill is a huge benefit when they start drinking by themselves. It’s practically perfect if you have a bag that’s got a little more room than mine.  Lisa McAnally – Baby Olivia 9 Months

The beaker looks fit for purpose, quite large for a first stage beaker, I think if I had introduced this to Riley at 4 months (like it says its suitable for) it would have been far too large for him to handle, and a much smaller beaker would have been necessary. However at 9 months he can handle it well, even when full with 6 oz of fluid. This is high quality, however I find the handles quite flimsy plastic, and quite slippery when my baby has messy hands from eating etc, I would have like to have seen some rubber grips or something supportive on the handles to offer my baby a better grip. After several washes the writing/logo on the beaker has not rubbed off, or discoloured as I have found with some other beakers I have used. The beaker lid is fit for the job of keeping the spout clean, without being too large. The spout is quite long, at first Riley would just chew on the end, it took him a while to get used to the cup, maybe because he was used to a different style with a shorter spout. This comes in 4 parts, beaker, spout, and lid and with the handles separate to the beaker which is a good idea. It says non spill on the box and it lives up to that, no matter how many times Riley chucked it on the floor or tipped it upside down. It holds 6 oz of fluids, which for me means I won’t have to go up to stages 2 as my baby never drinks this much in one go. A good quality product that my baby will continue to use on a daily basis, love the fact it can be dropped tipped upside down and it still won’t leak! Jade Salmond – Baby Riley 9 Months

I thought this looked nice and easy to use. It’s great quality too, we washed it in the dishwasher and it suffered no discolouration or damage. The beakers drinking spout was okay, but Health Visits and Dentists have told us to use free flow drinking cups so Grave found it hard to get the water out. It does take longer to clean than a regular free flow cup and as it’s for 6 months plus it needs to be completely taken apart to be sterilised, so this can take a bit longer if you’re not used to it. I liked the non spill aspect but have been advised not to give these to Grace as they are deemed not well for her teeth. This is good value for money but I personally prefer a free flow cup. I liked the cup and thought it looked nice; it did take a while to get used to extra bits inside the cup so sterilisation took longer but the non spill element is handy if you want to use it. it has a nice colour and a good, soft spout
