Loved the
look of the item, lovely colours, and nice soft materials. The packaging made
sure the item is well protected; I have not given full marks as the packaging
does not seem able to be recycled and has quite strong plastic smell. The tags
give a fancier feel to the product. Comes without temperature card which shows
what items of clothing are recommended to use under the sleep bag according to the
temperature of the room and depending on tog of sleeping bag, which is easy to
understand. One thing I would like to have had explained would be when to use
the sleeves on the sleeping bag as
instructions are only based on it being sleeves, was unsure if having
sleeves would change tog, as did not mention on packaging. Looked on the
website and it does mention THE SLEEVES SHOULD BE REMOVED WHEN INSIDE/IN THE
CAR AND WHEN CHILD IS PUT TO SLEEP. SLEEVES ARE FOR OUTSIDE USE ONLY. The
quality of the outside is lovely, great velour soft material, pretty applique
Cupcake design. The Finnish inside was not as great material thinner, bobbles a
bit. Finnish not on as great lots of thread that needed to be cut off and tiny
bits of the inner fibre poking through in places, nothing major but would worry
after more washes how well it would last as my baby at 5 months did not need it washed as much as
she would have when she was a newborn. Soft, warm, easy to wash, the velour on
the outside is more hard-wearing though the inside, slight bobbling after
washing. This was easy to change baby in and as easy as any other sleeping bag
used before. The poppers and zip are
easy enough to use. Hard to say as my baby sleeps well in any of her sleeping
bags she has used, I was not able to use as much as I hoped though as the
weather has been too warm for the 2.5 tog. She seemed nice and snug but as she
was near the upper limit her fit tended to wiggle towards the hole at the end for the car seat when used out of
car seat.im sure it wouldn’t be an issue when she was younger, would have been
nice to have had it for her in the earlier days. Perfect for colder weather as
has sleeves, which can pop on and off easily. Where the hole is for the car
seat maybe, Velcro or poppers placed on edge so feet don’t go through holes, as
this feature won’t be needed in cot. Be more value for money if purchasing this
2.5 tog during colder months. Not all sleeping bags have sleeves, so this
product offers extra. If it was slightly cheaper I would purchase, and if it
had feature such as Velcro to stick hole together for when not in use for
travelling. Not full marks as needs some improving, and did not make me want to
give up my one I was using before I started testing this just yet, but I still
thought it was a good item, does the job its meant to do, would like it to be a
bit cheaper. People usually need a spare for in between washes. Its great that it has sleeves for outdoor use and that it can be used with travelling,
so if baby is asleep. You can more from seat to cot. Great easy product to use

It is very
colourful, soft. Temperature instructions are great. Good padding. The pattern
is beautiful and feels very comfortable to sleep in. The box in which the
product came to me was adequate but good enough. It came in plastic wrapping
and it kept the product, clean, fresh and damage free. I was happy with the
packaging. The instructions for the product were ‘spot on’. They
not only told you how to wash the product and keep it clean they told you what
amount of clothing or layers should be on the baby in the sleeping bag at
certain temperatures. I was really impressed with the instructions. The quality
of the sleeping bag is good; it washes well and dries quickly.The
material was soft and very comfortable for baby. It was quite easy to put on
and remove, when it came to the poppers it disturbed baby a bit but she easily
drifted back off to sleep. It is quick to remove which makes nappy changes
quicker and easier. I haven’t used the long sleeves yet as it has been summer
and the weather has been warm so I haven’t had to put on or remove the long
sleeves while baby has been in it. The fastenings are very secure. It has a zip
around the sleeping bag and a popper fastening that goes over the zip so it
doesn’t come undone. I felt that baby was secure and I could leave her to
sleep. Yes and no. my baby in particular doesn’t like her feet being covered
whilst getting to sleep. She gets to sleep quite quickly laying on the bottom
part of the sleeping bag. Once asleep I then cover her with the top part of the
sleeping bag and she sleeps very well and for a lot longer. My baby finds this
sleeping bag very comfortable and she looks comfortable sleeping in it. She
even snores! I would recommend this product as it can even be used in the
colder months with the removable long sleeves. The only way I would change the
product is if it had holes for their feet. As my baby hates her feet being
covered when trying to get to sleep or to get comfortable. Good value as it has
removable sleeves, it is warm, comfortable, and the different patterns are
beautiful. It gives extra padding and is a guarantee that your baby will always
be covered when asleep. If I had another baby I wold buy one. I have already
started recommending it and people have often stopped me and asked me about the
sleeping bag (as I use it out and about as well). Very good product, easy to

I like the
design however the velour material and wadding used to pad the product feels
cheap. Well packaged, keeps product clean and serves its purpose. Washing
instructions say that the product can be tumble dried however on doing so the
second time I had washed it, the product lost about a third of its size and was
now unusable. The product has loose threads hanging out of it, the velour
fabric is unpleasant and on washing the bag the wadding inside became clumpy.
Outer velour material looks nice but isn’t nice to touch, the inner material
went bobbly after one wash and the padding inside had no substance as it wasn’t
dense enough and therefore clumped when washed. Putting my baby into the bag was easy, however as the arms were
detachable when trying to get her arms through the poppers un-popped therefore
it was just easier to use it without the arms on. The plastic zip was fine, as
were the poppers of material to protect the baby from the zip itself; however
the poppers to connect the arms weren’t strong enough when putting it on the baby
and my baby would’ve run out of patience should I try to put the arms on
afterwards. Slept no worse than normal but also no better, I was also testing
this product in summer therefore it wasn’t really used at night due to the risk
of her overheating; this product would only be suitable in the colder months.
She seemed comfortable when she used it without arms but when wearing it with
the arms her movement was very restricted. Ways I would change this would be to
use different materials, changing the washing instructions to no tumble drying
and getting rid of the detachable arms completely as no parent needs the
hassle. I would not purchase this. I
have a lovely sleeping bag from Asda which cost £9.99 made from lovely soft
material and great padding which has never clumped or shrank when washing, the
one from Asda is the same tog as this one as well. The product looks very nice
and the feature of having a buckle hole for a car seat is great as I have seen
no other products offer this but the material is cheap and shrinks in the wash.Laura Whitefoot – Paige 4 Months
