Dream Little One Sleep Oil Reviews

I have used oils before so was happy with size and information on the bottle and the box it came in, I was excited to try as we have had trouble getting baby to sleep at bedtime.  I was excited to try the dream sleep oil, I have used oils before especially for relaxation, however I haven’t used oils with my baby yet and was very excited to try. Very normal and easy to use instructions, I was happy that it stated not to use on skin as most of the oils I have used before are ok to use on skin and if I hadn’t of read properly I would of attempted to use on my own skin.  I didn’t have a diffuser so used an old muslin cloth and draped it over my babies’ cot, I would have loved to try on a diffuser though. It was very easy to use, all you have to do is add a couple of drops to cloth/tissue and that is it.  If I am honest I am not 100% sure it was effective. The smell was amazing and I loved it however it did not change my babies sleeping pattern at all, she still took a while to settle down and fall asleep, the exact same as before the oil use, however it did make me feel calmer.  I used this every evening for 4 weeks and some nap times during the day, (only if we were at home).  I did use this in my bath and it was heavenly.  I adored the smell and it definitely made me feel more relaxed than I would a normal bath with just bubble bath.  I did not use for any other purpose.  I didn’t want to use it directly on skin however if it was safe I would of probably massaged into my skin on wrists or temples.  I thought it was a lovely quality item, perfect size and perfect instructions.  The smell was just beautiful, so subtle and calming. I loved that a little went along way making it great value for money.  I think it’s 100% value for money, like I said a little goes a long way and it’s such a luxurious calming smell that I know through buying a lot of other companies supplying similar products charge a lot more.  I would definitely purchase this, just for the sent alone; it made my whole house smell beautiful.  I have recommended this already to my sister-in-law who has two very bad sleeping babies. I would recommend just for the smell alone as it lingers and makes the house smell beautiful, also the bath was a very lovely calming experience every busy mum deserves.  For its gorgeous aroma and relaxing qualities.  I loved testing this product; I was so pleased to have the chance as it was such a luxury product. I loved the aroma the most and the fact it made my whole home smell beautiful.  Kelly Downey – Elsie 10 Months

I was excited as my 17month old is a bit hit and miss with his sleep and since my little girl has been born has struggled with settling. Instructions were good and clearly outlined how to use.  I put a few drops into a tissue but also placed a towel on the radiator and put a few drops on to diffuse into his room. This was very easy to use.  It made a big improvement to my little boy settling and being sleepy at bedtime. He was also sleeping in longer stints but his sleep is a little all over the place due to a new baby. I used the oil on bath nights and also if we had a bad night the night before I would use it the night after.  I don’t very often take a bath so didn’t use this method myself, but did burn it in my bedroom and found it helped me drift off to sleep quite quickly as normally by brain is in overdrive.  It’s good quality packaged well and the oil doesn’t smell too strong or weak.  I think it does have a calming and relaxing feel to it and it smells lovely. It is not too bad and would last a long time only using a couple drops. I think a lot of oils on the market these days are a bit pricey. I would purchase as it has helped my little boy and helped his sleep. I think it’s also helped calm him after the birth of my newborn. Not sure if it is coincidence but his mood eased once I started using it.  I would recommend for all the reasons above. It had a lovely smell and is very easy to use. Looks good Bottle is secure not easy to break. Box was nicely packaged. It’s a good idea something to help babies sleep is always a good thing. I put it in a diffuser the instructions were very clear and precise. All you have to do is open the bottle and put a few drops because there is a nozzle which allows only drops to come out. No it was not effective I didn’t see any improvement in her sleep and I did not like the smell.  As I did not really like the smell personally I only used a few times. For me the smell was too strong so would not try this as a relaxing oil in my bath. The bottle was of very high standard it’s not easy to break and the lid was very secure. It is good value if you like the smell and it’s a decent size for essential oils. I like the fact that all the oils are 100% pure. For us this did not work as I found the aroma too strong and did not relax me or baby.  For others in may work. Diana Yates – Sienna 9 Months
