A brilliant new game that light heartedly delves into our everyday life, reminding us of the diverse, unique and hilarious everyday things, people and places that make Britain such an outstanding place to live. There’s so much about this wonderful country of ours that we take for granted. There’s cups of tea, the weather forecast, double-decker buses, pubs on every corner, the ‘national pastime’ of queuing… and lollipop ladies, sandcastles, conkers, Blackpool rock, deep fried Mars Bars… Big Ben and Eros, Winston Churchill and Thunderbirds, Mr Whippy ice cream… and did we mention red phone boxes, juicy leeks, screeching bagpipes and Dennis the Menace? Can you answer the Best of British questions on real-life, finger-on-the-pulse of 21st century British lifestyle situations? Very vibrant packaging and
reminded me of Trivia Pursuit. However this game is based on all things unique
to Britain. Packaging would catch my eye in store. Instructions are easy enough
to follow. This is a board game with cards and you answer the questions
correctly to move on. We were surprised at just how much we all learnt. Some of
the questions are quirky but all interesting and we all had fun playing as a
family. My daughter understood the game. It is a fun packed quiz game all about
the country we live in so was interesting for us. It did keep our attention and
the questions are educational and funny too. This is a good quality game. We
have played it quite a few times with friends and on family visits too.
Definitely good value for money. I can see us all playing this a lot and it
will certainly be taken on holiday with us and a definite game for Christmas.
Will keep us all on our toes and fun for everyone to play.Francesca

Looked good quality game
and ideal for Jodie and James as suitable for 12 years plus. Would catch my eye
in a store and contents all well-made. Instructions easy enough to follow. A
board game whereby you move further around the board when you answer questions
correctly. All the cards are themed but all based on Britain. This is very fun
and entertaining as they cover so many subjects including food, TV, History,
traditions, music, and much more. We played this with the grandparents and
formed teams and had a blast. The questions cover decades so older and younger
adults can easily answer some of the questions but you all learn along the way.
This certainly captivated my family and a game we all enjoy playing now. We
will be taking it away with us on holiday in August as will be ideal to play
with all our friends and keep us amused and entertained. This is a high quality
game, one of those games that does become a traditional family favourite. Great
to play in as teams and becomes very competitive. This is certainly educational
and fun and we all learned a lot. Would certainly purchase as a gift. Would
certainly recommend, as fun, entertaining and good value. This is now a family
favourite game and grandparents love it too.Liza Snell – Jodie &

My initial
impression of this board game was good. The outer packaging was great. It kept
the board game safe and secure during postage. The packaging of the actual game
is lovely. The images are colourful and very eye catching. The game is very
easy to understand for all of our family members of different ages. My
daughter understood the concept of the game too. I have no issues with her
playing with this game. I think it is age appropriate although my son
understood it too and he is 10. This game is very enjoyable. This was great fun
to play and we all learnt a lot of useful things about Britain. This game
challenges the younger players and really makes you all think. Both my children enjoyed playing this game
and it kept their interest. The quality
of this game is excellent. It offers great value for money and is the price I
usually pay for board games. I especially like that there’s a good range of
general knowledge questions in this game. I would consider buying this game. I
have already recommended it to friends. It would make a great Christmas
present. We all loved playing this game.
I think it’s a good family game to play and get you all thinking. Andrew
