Drumond Park Pickin’ Chickens

Cluck cluck! Keep your chickens safe with the farmer’s help – and watch out for that sneaky, sly fox! Which chicken is under the henhouse? The green one? The yellow one? Take a peek to find out; spin the wheel, and hope that you-know-who doesn’t spring up! Bag the Farmer card to protect those little chicks of yours, but beware – your fellow players might pinch it at any time! You’ll need just a handful of hens to be crowned the winner, so get pickin’ those chickens! Pickin’ Chickens is a fun and friendly game for younger children. Easy to understand, and with two sets of rules to cater for different abilities, it’s a great primer for taking turns, making decisions and sharpening those youthful memory skills.

Looks
great fun. Well packaged bright and colourful. The game was very easy to pick up;
my 4 year old was in charge straight away telling everyone how to play. They
understood the concept of the game straight away and were gutted when they had
to return a hen! They thoroughly enjoyed playing the game for a good 30-45
minutes. It helped with colours and trying to guess once you had spun the game
around where their next colour may be. Very simple for them to play on their
own, some laughs coming from the younger one because she was winning most of
the time! She liked the little huts that come with the game and was off using
her imagination with the hens pretending she had her own farm! Great quality,
cards do get bent but that’s the same with all other games too. Great value for
money as has been played so many times. Only
problem my girls had was putting the huts on the game as there is a certain
knack to it. I would buy this game, we are always looking for fun games for the
children that will last and this sure will. We have taken it with us when
visiting family and friends and everyone enjoyed having a turn. Great fun for
all the family with lots of laughs. Laura Whalin –

Looked colourful and fun game. Box is bright and informative and would stand
out in store. The game is quick and easy
to set up and we were playing in no time.
Amber got the concept of the game and enjoyed playing this. A bit of a game of chance as you never know
when the fox is going to jump up so can get exciting. You just spin the wheel with the huts on and
when stops see if you have a chicken to put on your card. If you collect 4 chickens you are a winner,
but beware you never know when the craft fox is going to pop up. A fun game of chance which we all really
enjoyed. Amber enjoyed having her
friends round to play this game and you could hear them squealing when fox popped
up as changed the game. This is a good
quality game, a game that can be played by all the family. I do feel the price is a tad high. I would certainly buy as a gift but would
look for it on special offer. Already
recommended to a few friends. A fun fast
paced great game for children and my daughter loved this. Katy Palmer – Amber 5 Years

Box
looked fab and my two were eager to try this game out. The instructions were
very easy to follow and both my children understood the concept of the game and
how to play. It is a really fun game and
so easy. Set up in not time by placing
chicken coops on board. Then you are
ready to pick your card and spin. The
concept of the game if to collect 4 chickens on your card, but if the fox pops
up you have to put a chicken back which Tania did not like. However, you do have a wild card as you can
pick farmers card that is like a get out of jail free card and protects you
from the fox. A fun entertaining game
for my children and they played for ages.
It a good game to help with patience and also giving back chickens even
though my daughter wanted to win. A bit
of chance thrown in as when fox pops up you have to put one chicken back. We all enjoyed this game. Well-made too. Bit pricey for me but would purchase as a
present and recommended to friends and family.
A fun interactive game which can be played by all the family. Even granny and grandpa joined in. Sharon Gardener
