It looked like it would be an easy but fun game to play. Not too much unnecessary packing which I like. The box was bright and colourful and you could clearly see what contents to expect inside. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. We knew how to play the game quickly. It was easy to explain to my child and she understood very quickly. Even my 2 year old wanted to join in and knew what we were doing!I do agree this is age appropriate for my daughter. However, I believe that younger children with good comprehension would cope fine. Understandably it’s due to the small parts that might make it unsuitable. I thought the contents were good; my only criticism would be that the washing lines are quite flimsy and I could see these bending or breaking easily in time.My child found it quite easy to play and thought it was highly amusing when myself and my husband had to wear the nose peg. We’ve only played it as a family but she really enjoyed it and didn’t bore of it easily. We played it all together as a family. My 2 year old has joined in (under close supervision with the small parts) and thought that the washing machine was extremely fun! This did keep my daughter entertained as it was easy to play and didn’t go on too long. As mentioned previously I think the washing lines need some improvement to make them stronger but other than that it’s a good quality. I think the RRP is a little high for what it is. I really liked the fact it was fun and easy for young children to play. I would purchase this is RRP was a bit lower. I would recommend as it’s simple and fun to play. Not full marks as I feel the washing lines need a little improvement, but otherwise it’s a good game. A nice game that’s simple and fun to play for the whole family. Easy to set up and put away after playing. Samantha Turnbull – Scarlett 5 Years

When this arrived it looked a fun, bright looking game. The packaging is colourful and certainly eye catching. Instructions are well written and fairly simple to follow. My 9 year old totally understood the concept of the game but my 4 year old did not. The age suitability was fine for my 9 year old but my 4 year old enjoyed herself but didn’t understand what she was doing. The contents of the game have lots of fiddly bits but they are well made and bright. My eldest really enjoyed the game and found it easy to play, but my youngest struggled. My eldest enjoyed playing this game with friends and they wanted to play it more.I did play the game with my son and daughter. This is a good game and certainly kept them entertained. This is a very well-made game and good quality. I personally think it is a little overpriced and would not pay full price for it. I really liked the fact this game can help teach colours and counting. I would not purchase as feel price is too high. I would however recommend as it is a bright, fun simple game for children. This is a bright simple game that can keep children entertained. The game was a fun family game and kept the kids entertained for ages. It helped the youngest with her colour recognition and counting and was a well-made toy. Natasha Shaw – Thomas & Elizabeth – 9 & 4 Years

Looked really interesting, my boys couldn’t wait to open it and play it. It was colourful and they loved the idea that the washing machine was alive! As I previously said the packaging was great, would definitely grab my boys attention on the shelf in a store. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow which was perfect for younger children. It is a simple game which is ideal for young children. My 3 year old even enjoyed joining in and playing too. Although it is aimed at 4 plus and is perfect for this age it was also enjoyed by my older children. The game doesn’t last for long which is good for younger / shorter attention spans. Being aimed at younger children it was perfect that there weren’t a lot of pieces with different functions. We set up the washing lines upside down the first time we played which meant the washing didn’t hang up properly but that was human error rather than the games fault. My children all found the game easy to play. We have played this game many times with friends and family members and people of all ages can enjoy. It’s great that it is a short game and can be played quickly. We found this ideal as having children of different ages it means that the younger ones can play with no help. Certainly kept our children entertained. Being a short game it means that you can play a few games before the children start to lose interest. I do feel the price is a little expensive for what it is, however they can play it over and over again. Maybe a price of just under £20 would be better. I like the fact that younger children can play this game with no help but most of all that it has encouraged my children to help hang the washing out. I think if it was on an offer price where it was slightly cheaper I would buy this product as a gift for friends. I would recommend this game to other family and friends with children of a similar age.I would have loved to give this game a 5 but I feel it just needs to be slightly cheaper. Overall this game is great for young children. It teaches children colours and how to take turns. Anything that makes everyday chores fun is a winner in my book. Anne Rice – Dominic, Patrick & Ethan – 8, 6 & 4 Years
