Well packed and a nice little note from the author. A great idea to make giving the dummy up fun and exciting. The front cover is very bright colourful and enticing.  The story is lovely, fun and magical. She loved reading the story and discussing all the exciting things the dummy got up to in dumbleby forest.  The illustrations are bright and colourful and very magical. Unfortunately it didn’t make her give the dummy up totally. However it has helped us during the day as when we leave the house we put it next to the book so it can have fun in the forest whilst we are out. we still read it most days and I think it’s definitely going to help her in the future when we try to get rid of it all together. she started leaving it with more ease as soon as she started reading the book. We added a little addition of a small draw sting bag which she puts the dummy in when she isn’t using it.  Very well written and well-illustrated.  Very good value for the money. the story was very well written and just the right length to keep the child interested. I would buy this book.  I would recommend.  I do feel it would be better aimed at children a little older if you want it to work quick. However for daisy’s age I think it’s going to help with a smooth transition to being dummy free.  Great book to help with a difficult task. We really enjoyed reading this book and it’s definitely helped reduce the amount she uses the dummy and will help when we finally decide to get rid for good. Aimee Hamer – Daisy 2 Years 4 Months

I really liked the bright pages and how thick the book was. I really liked the concept as it was a story for the children as to what happens next for their dummies and I feel helps them get over the loss. The front cover is very engaging. My only negative would be that the rainbow was cut off at the top which made it look like it didn’t quite fit the page. I really liked the detail and how you got to know Dumbleby Forest and what dummies enjoy. Also good to read it looks like it will be part of a letty go series. My 1 year old enjoyed the pictures and as he gets older it will help him rid the dummy. My 5 year old already had but really enjoyed the story and believed it. She talked about how her brothers dummy will go there one day. I really liked the pictures and all the different dummies, they characterised them well. He is not ready to give up dummy yet but I feel from my 5 year olds reaction that it will be effective in helping him get over the loss. We read the book 3 times. We have not got to the stage of the dummy being let go yet but hopefully when he is a bit older. The pages felt thick and as shiny i think it will be sturdy. I just feel the front cover would look better if rainbow lower and not looking cut off. the price is lower than expected for the amount of pages and large illustrations. I enjoyed the story and facts about what dummies like to do in Dumbleby forest.  I would buy this book.  I would recommend and  buy for children I knew had dummies as it can be traumatic parting with them. I really like this book, I haven’t seen one like it before and was really happy to review it as I know the difficulties of giving up a dummy myself and for my daughter and I wanted something to help me with my son. It may not be quite the right time yet but its good he gets use to the story so when he is finished teething we can then wean him off with the help of this book. Lovely colourful book. I really think that this book might help my little one get rid of her dummy. the cover is very nice and every child will surely like it. I am impressed with the story. Wouldn’t think that someone would come with this kind of idea for a book story. My little one is only just over one and she loves when I’m reading it to her, however I don’t think that she is at the point where she understands completely the meaning of the book. Hopefully by the time she is 1.5 she will be able to understand that dummy needs to go. The illustrations are adorable and very cute. As of now my little one likes the book but as mentioned above, she needs to reach specific age to understand that dummy won’t be with her forever. I read this to my daughter every night before bed time. My child only uses dummy when going to bed and during nap times. Otherwise I take dummy away. I am hoping to get rid of the dummy by the time she is One and a half years old and will update you how it goes. I love the book, but would have preferred hard covers. For the price ,this book is excellent and its worth more. I love the story the most. I think my child will be happy to give away her dummy when she is ready. I love the book and the story and so does my daughter. wouldn’t think twice before buying it.  I would recommend as there is a point in this book and I believe that is going to help every child to go thru transition of letting go of the dummy easier. Overall this is a really nice and colourful book .Very entertaining and helpful. I am so happy to see that there is a book like this  and I strongly believe that my daughter is going to get rid of her dummy soon. I would prefer very hard covers but that’s just my opinion. Would be nice to see this book in local shops and grocery stores as I am sure it would sell very well. Great story and overall prefect little book. Would highly recommend it to everyone who struggles to get rid of dummy or even to kids who don’t have a dummy but just love a great story. Josipa Setka – Maya 1 Year
