We went to great lengths to make sure that we used the best possible sounds in our dream sheep to accompany the movement in the soothing system. The actual womb sounds and heartbeat of a pregnant mum were recorded by the team. These sounds were then combined with household, musical and natural sounds at low bass frequencies of 125hz to produce ‘pink noise.’ This is the type of noise that babies predominantly hear when in the womb, which is why it is so effective. There is a soothing pink glow emitted from ewan…. research has shown that babies are comforted by certain aspects of the womb, so a pink ambient glow was the natural choice for our dream sheep’s tummy.

A really quirky and different product! I loved him the moment I saw him. Very good quality but I think the stitching of the head to the body could be a little tighter. Very easy to secure to a cot with a thick Velcro strap. There is no chance of Ewan falling onto baby’s head or being pulled down. The moment we put Ewan next to Samuel he dropped off within a couple of minutes. I love that there are lots of different sounds too. Samuel did focus on the light and it is a very soothing glow rather than a bright light. Ewan is totally portable and easy to stuff into the top of a baby bag along with the rest of your kit. He came on lots of trips with us. Samuel said he loves sheep, especially purple and white ones from the Welsh valleys! The perfect thing about Ewan is that he doesn’t go on for too long. 20 minutes is just about enough time for Samuel to fall asleep or be soothed. I think that is an annoyance with other cot toys in that they either stop too quickly or they go on all through the night! I love him and when the kids have outgrown him I will be taking him to bed when I can’t sleep. I also bought one for my friend who has just had a baby so we are very happy with this product! Forget counting sheep when all you need is one, Ewan the dream sheep! Sarah Halloran – Baby Samuel 3 Months

The sheep is lovely and soft, also very well made. It’s attractive to look at and Nicole likes it a lot. You can attach the sheep to the mobile and it is secure. I definitely can’t live without this! Nicole has it every night and loves it; I would recommend this to anyone with a baby. It is great, it gives off a nice soothing glow for a night light and it also soothes Nicole off to sleep. I take this everywhere I go because Nicole loves to cuddle it when going to sleep. Now that I have tested this product I have to carry on using it because Nicole will not sleep without it. I have had to buy a huge supply of batteries to make sure that I never run out! This is so worth the money, it soothes babies to sleep. I tried it on my friend’s baby and it worked for her so she has ordered one too! Gayor Grinsill – Baby Nicole Faith 15 Weeks

When Ewan arrived we instantly fell in love with him. He has a great quality feel, an adorable look and I couldn’t wait to try him out. It was simple to attach Ewan to the cot and he stayed safely and securely in place, I had no concerns about him falling off or being a danger. The soft light and gentle sounds from Ewan worked perfectly and seemed to help Tilly sleep a lot quicker and better than usual. I think this would be great for travelling with too, because Ewan can quite easily be taken on trips away to help soothe your baby if they feel unsettled, or Ewan can simply be used as a comfort toy as Tilly likes to cuddle Ewan a lot too. This product has been so useful to us, and I am sure that we will be using it for a long while because we have all fallen in love with him! Highly recommended and definitely worth purchasing for the parents peace of mind and to help your baby have a comfortable nights sleep. Jerry Moore – Baby Tilly 2 Months
