Very impressed with how it was packaged and impressed it came with batteries. Brilliant I love that it has a contraction timer. Love the shape easy to hold. Instructions were very easy to follow. The pads were really easy to apply and really sticky. This did help with relieving contraction pain during labour but towards the end nothing was helping. I found the contraction timer very helpful. The Pre-set modes were really quick and easy to use. The Boost button for contractions was definitely effective and handy to have. To have neck cord and carry pouch was so handy. When you are in so much pain you don’t want any fuss so when it’s around your neck you can forget it’s there. I thought the book Woman’s guide to drug free pain relief was so helpful because women need faith that they can give birth without drug pain relief. I do agree this is ideal option for pain relief during labour. It helps right up to towards the end, I didn’t want any drugs so it was the perfect solution. After birth I did use it for shoulder pain because I have hyper mobility and really struggle with my shoulders especially carrying a newborn baby a lot and it’s been amazing. I do agree this is a great investment for relieving pain during labour and beyond.  This is the way forward I have been recommending to everyone and would love all women to believe that they can give birth without the need for any drugs.  I now use this daily for shoulder pain. The quality is excellent. Definitely great value.  I loved how easy this was to use, love the colour and the contraction timer and love that it can be worn around the neck. I would buy this as a great quality product. I already have recommended as not just for labour it is handy for everyone to use with aches and pains. Brilliant product, great design and easy to use.  I’ve loved using this it’s so easy to pop around your neck and get on with your day, attractive girly design just overall a fantastic product. Well packaged – product kept safe – small and compact. I think it is an interesting concept that I was interested in trying out as a natural pain relief. Design is attractive looking –  not too big and bulky – not too many buttons to confuse. Instructions were concise and explained well how to use and the different aspects. Pads were easy to use – able to do it myself without any help. It helped the pain remain manageable for the majority of labour pain. I could imagine the contraction timer to be helpful, but I ended up being induced and in hospital for the entirety of my labour due to waters breaking so I didn’t really use this aspect as much. The Pre-set modes were easy to use as saved having to think about too much whilst concentrating on breathing. The Boost button for contractions was  useful but I didn’t feel it made much difference to the pain relief. The neck cord and carry pouch are easy to attach but didn’t end up using it as I was attached to a drip and didn’t move around too much – if I hadn’t been i could imagine it would have been very useful to not have to carry it. I think the book Woman’s guide to drug free pain relief could be useful to someone who hasn’t done anything else prior to labour, I was lucky to be able to have done a hypnobirthing class and prenatal yoga which went through many of the aspects in this book already. This is a great pain relief item for someone who wants to try a natural birth with no pain relief – or for someone who wants an extra boost of pain relief. I haven’t used it so far for other pain relief apart from a few times in the first few weeks with the afterbirth contractions, which were more painful second time around.  I do agree this is a good investment as can use during labour and for other aches and pains so longevity of usage. My husband suffers from a back injury and this could also help him too. I used this during labour and about 4 times in the following weeks after giving birth. Great product for during labour and for people suffering with long lasting back/shoulder pain. It does what it says so you get your monies worth out of it.  I really liked the  ease of which I was able to work it – very important during labour when not wanting to faff around trying to get something to work. Personally I probably wouldn’t buy this as I wouldn’t get the use out of it – if I suffered with other pain such as back, shoulder or hip pain I definitely would consider it. I would recommend as I think it is effective at relieving all types of pain without having to take lots of pain killers and other medicines. It does exactly what it says it does and was very effective at relieving pain during labour. Freya Morrish – Theo 5 Weeks

Nice a compact and looked simple to use. Really good idea. A natural alternative to pain relief that is portable. Nice design, compact, portable and simple to use. The instructions were clear but slightly small. Had to read them a number of times to understand how to use the TENS as a first time user. Trying to attach the pads to my body was slightly fiddly even on the trial run I did, even more so in labour when I was in pain. I didn’t find the tens very effective at all which was surprising considering my labour was all in my back and that’s where the pads were placed. It could have  been because my labour was very fast and intense but the machine didn’t seem to take the edge off. The contraction timer was not really helpful as my contractions were very fast from my waters breaking – every 3 minutes so I didn’t really need to use this feature.  It was easier to use a pre-set mode then set it up to my own preference. Although I didn’t find the machine helpful I could feel the boost a bit more when using if not in a contraction. The neck cord with carry pouch is a good idea so you don’t need to hold it but anything with weight touching me in labour I found very annoying so couldn’t wear it for long. I think the Woman’s guide to drug free pain relief is  a good book to give you different alternatives so you know that they are there but I ended up having gas and air. I didn’t find it helpful for a quick and intense labour at all. It might be better for a slower labour. I did use it a little for the back pain after labour and it did help relieve it slightly but not a great deal. I personally wouldn’t purchase one if I had another baby after trying it as it didn’t work for me. I used this during labour and after for back pain. This is a very well made product. It is very expensive for something that was quite ineffective for me. I did like bow company it was and how simple it was to use. Unfortunately this did not work for me and I didn’t feel that I could wear it in labour as things on my skin annoyed me. It was a well-designed product and felt sturdy. The machine was compact and easy to carry and use. However in labour it was little fiddly to put together especially when in pain. The feel of the pads and machine round your neck was also very annoying to myself when in pain. Because my labour was so quick and intense I didn’t feel any benefit to the natural pain relief. It didn’t seem to help me at all in labour. However it did help relieve some of the back ache after labour but finding the time to sit and use it with a newborn and another child was difficult.
