The box and illustrations looked very appealing and inviting. My son was excited to open and see what was inside. Instructions were easy and simple to follow. The concept is a really good idea and sparks imagination. my son was eager to play and use his imagination to create a robot.  And he is also very interesting in STEM work at school. My son did find it easy to build the robot, just needed a little help and guidance at times as he has additional needs and sometimes gets frustrated. He loved all the new components to build machines that move and transform.  We will definitely be looking into purchasing other items for Christmas. My son thought it was funny how the eyes spun around. It made the robot ‘come to life’ so to speak with those features. This has really kept him entertained. He has played with this so much and always wants to play with it as soon as he is home from school. This has sparked more interest in building and engineering. He has begun playing with his lego and mega blocks again and he built his robot a house out of his mega blocks. Absolutely helps develop problem-solving skills. With my sons additional needs he also struggles with fine manipulative skills and we’ve definitely seen an improvement with his handling and manipulation of the gears. He has become more eager to try to complete his robot more by himself so less adult intervention. Certainly sparked his creative side. Contents are really good, strong and robust. A good variety. This toy shows a further side to explore in STEM that they probably wouldn’t of experienced yet within school. My son plays with this every day at the moment. He likes to take it  apart and rebuild it, and see what different robots he can create. I liked how excited and interested my son was about this toy. And its suitable for boys and girls. I think the age suitability for this toy is perfect. Absolutely great value for money.  My son loves it. Excellent quality. We are purchasing additional models for him for Christmas. I already have recommended  my sister is going to buy it for my nephew. And i told school about it as well. Excellent product, sparks a good imagination and overall experience of making their own Robots. Very happy and my son truly does love playing with the robots. Sarah Key – Zachery 5 Years

The box arrived and is full of 116 pieces to play and build with. Lots of examples of what you can build on the box. It’s nice to have a good sized box to keep it all in together too when you’re not playing. The instructions weren’t the clearest as they were quite small to be able to make sure you had the pieces in the right way. We did have to go back and turn a few things around after realising the next section didn’t fit.  You are also only provided with three examples on the instructions with things to build. It would be great to see some more ideas, or at least the amount that are on the box so you know exactly how to build. This does encourage them to make their own though! Great idea! Edward, Tilly and their younger brother who is 4, all sat together and we spent an hour creating the first designs. They all took part in fitting the different sections together, so it’s great for teamwork and works across lots of different ages. The children were able to pick out their bits themselves and then connect together, with some help with which way they went. They enjoyed finding the right pieces and being able to fit it all together, which was quite simple. They loved the end result too! They did enjoy the ability to build items that move and transform. They really liked the movement that they had. The fit on some of the cogs though wasn’t very tight so it was a bit hit and miss if they actually turned fully. The treads were good for movement rather than standard wheels. My kids loved the different parts for the robots, including the cute eyes and tread to enable it to move. We found this worked better on carpet than our wood floor. On our first use, we were playing and building for an hour. We have since gone back and built the other two from the instructions as well. We already have quite a few Lego sets and enjoy building these together, so I really found that this took it one step further for my children to enjoy the building side even more. It also encouraged them to design their own. This definitely develops problem-solving skills as there are some small bits in the kit that they need to put together. They also need to work out how it fits together. This also helps them to become more creative as they can create their own robot designs using the many pieces! 116 pieces sounds like a lot, but it is only enough for one robot really. It would be nice to have enough for a couple so that families or siblings can build together. They would be able to make a couple of smaller ones though! Better buy more kits! Certainly helps make STEM learning easier as it includes all of those in a fun way! We’ve had the box out several times to build different robots. My kids enjoyed building but I think their favourite part was seeing the finished robot that they had created and making it move. They liked the cute eyes of the robots too! I liked that this was a toy that brought our family together to work as a team! I feel the age suitability is about right – any older and they’d probably want something a bit more complex. My 4 year old was also fine getting involved, he just needed a bit more help. For what you get, I think it is on the pricier side. But we still enjoyed playing with it! Some of the cogs don’t fit firmly together, so they don’t always connect and move smoothly. I would definitely consider buying more kits from the series to have more parts to fit together! I would recommend as we’ve all enjoyed building and designing robots together. I think that it’s a great idea and we’ve all enjoyed using the kit. I think it would just be good for the parts to fit together better and to have a few more bits in the box so that you can build more together. We’ve really enjoyed playing with the Robots in Motion Kit as a family. From 4 years old with help, to 6 years old, 9 years old and me at 33 years. It makes them think about what they’re doing and adds creativity to make their own designs. It would be great to add more kits to the mix and see them design even more. My only criticisms would be to request clearer instructions with a few more designs to work through and also for the cogs to fit together better for smoother movement. I was very excited and looking at the box I thought that our son was probably too young for it. Easy to follow instructions and with our help my son enjoyed building this. Love the concept because most of the time you can build them but they don’t move! My child was so surprised and kept staring at it. My son did find this easy to build with my help. He kept staring at the robot like he could not believe that something he had built was moving. This certainly kept him entertained. This did increase his interest in building skills and will continue as he builds more. This certainly does help develop problem-solving skills and a good exercise for my son.  I would say it does spark more interest in creativity.  Good quality contents supplied. This does help make STEM learning easier and fun as they are learning through play. My son played with this every day. My son just loved the fact the robot he built would move. I liked the fact it was very colourful and easy to build. I think the age suitability was ideal for my son. Personally I do think this is a bit expensive. Good quality and seems sturdy. I would buy as a gift.  I would recommend as it would be a great present. I imagine the older children will love the building this robot and all the moving parts on offer.  This is a great product. This is a great toy, entertaining and lets your child enjoy building their own robot. Veronica Corsiero – Tommaso 5 Years
