I really like it due to the fact it was fun for me and my son to play together. It made us be creative. This toy is intriguing and educational. Clear instructions, yet left room for working out but limited on what you can do with the amount of magnets supplied. The pieces are an excellent size for my four year old. He enjoyed making the designs on the box but he also liked making other items like necklaces, animal pens and people. He liked it when they pulled together and away. He found it frustrating when tidying them up that they wouldn’t slot together. This toy helped him understand the positive and negative tensions. This toy helped him learn and develop skills which they do at school such as mathematics by counting the rods and balls. He really did enjoy getting creative with this toy. He enjoyed making stuff for his toys with these. My child’s favourite colour is orange so he would always make things in orange and then use the other colours. To start with used this daily, now probably 2-3 times a week. This was played with at home in the living room. This would keep him entertained for about 30-45 minutes at a time. He liked being able to be creative and make things without a lot of mess and being able to reuse and restyle if needed. I like that we could make things together and something we would play together. Really like the storage box as nice and compact and also it needs an adult to open it which means by 1 year old can’t open the box. It is important to me this is made of recycled plastic as so much plastic is wasted so knowing it has been recycled is another bonus for this product. Very good quality product which I would buy as a present for someone. I would now look at other Geomag sets in the range. My child is 4 and he enjoyed the product so I think it is age appropriate. I think it’s a product for all ages above 3. Good value as feel it’s a product we will have for many years as don’t really feel it’s something you can outgrow. Before testing this I would not have purchased, but now I would definitely buy Geomag products and buy as a gift. I would recommend as it is a nice product which as stated above isn’t something which I can see my son outgrowing. It helped use his motor skills and creatively. I never knew magnets could be so much fun until we were lucky enough to test these. Something concretely different which offers so much more than just a toy to play with. It is a new toy for him at home. He doesn’t have anything like this at home. It is nice like to be an imaginative toy. You can let him play or create what he wants to play. You have to read instructions carefully. He found the pieces easy to hold and use. He does not follow the instructions just puts them together in his own way. He likes the magnet part sticking together. I think it did help him find out more about the science of magnets and how they fit together and why. This toy is a good introduction to STEM activities. He tended to create his own designs. He already knew his colours but this did reinforce colour recognition. At first he used this a lot and now will play with it at least once a week. He played with this at home. This did keep him entertained initially but now goes back to it every so often. He liked to make a car because he loves cars. I liked the concept of making different styles with the tiles. I did like the fact it was made of recycled plastic. The quality is great. I will look at other sets in the Geomag collection as it is well made and will last. It was age suitable for my son. Good value due to its creative aspect and how well it is made. I would buy this as good educational toy. I would recommend as their children would learn through play. A great learning toy for children. My son has this kind of toy at school and he recognizes it when we opened it. Chiara Dacles – Elijah 3 Years

Product looked colourful and educational for my child. I loved the concept of Geomag Supercolor 42 piece set. It is great for teaching shapes and maths , keeps child busy while teaching him. Instructions were a little tricky to follow. Sometimes the pieces were tricky to fit together. The magnets sometimes didn’t hold the complex shapes. Which was a little frustrating. We enjoyed making shapes on box together. My son did need help. My son loved the magnetic rods. He also loved the metal balls that fitted between the rods to make the shapes. He loved playing with the magnets and was really intrigued by how the set worked. The magnets were fascinating to play with. Shape building helped with my son’s maths. All round great educational toy. My son loved making his own designs, the bigger the better. This toy did help with his colour recognition. He would play with this a couple of times a week. This was played with at home. This toy was certainly entertaining for my son. He loved the magnets and the little balls. He loved sticking lots together to make big models. I loved to see my son learning while he played. It was a bit fiddly to put all the pieces back in the storage box, but otherwise good to have. The fact this is made of recycled plastic is a bonus. Excellent quality. We enjoyed playing with this set. I do find with these type of sets there never seems to be enough pieces. So it is great to add to it. I think a 3 year old may struggle to play with the set. Its small pieces and very fiddly for small fingers. I don’t think I would pay the RRP for the amount of magnetic rods in the set. I would consider buying this as we enjoyed playing with it. But would like more pieces so we can be more creative. I would recommend as it is a fun set. We loved the toys concept. Magnets are fascinating and paired with building makes lots of creative fun. It is one of those toys you need a couple of sets to make full use off the building experience. I did think it was quite pricey for a small set. It kept my son entertained and helped with his hand eye co-ordination. Overall we both would recommend. Kelly Menicou – Elijah 4 Years
