Festival Director Simon Goldmansaid: “As a father of seven, I know how hard it is to find quality days out that cater for the whole family.  With Geronimo, we’ve created a festival that’s going to keep the kids entertained all day long, and create memories that will last a lot longer.”The lineup is jam-packed with 100s of things to see and do, and will offer families a rewarding experience through a combination of imagination, creativity and adventure, alongside a number of exciting live performances from some of the best-loved names in children’s entertainment.  It is important to me that Geronimo isn’t just another festival and that families leave feeling like they have experienced an amazing day out that they’ll be talking about for weeks and months afterwards.” great activities including zumba workshops, dressing up areas, dance classes with Baby Ballet and even Geronimo’s own disco – playing all the favourite party tunes!Tatton Park is famous for its beautiful gardens and attractions, including the beautiful deer park, magical woodlands and a working farm. interesting. I was curious as we had never been to something like it
before. The cost seemed a lot so would
have been shocked to see that. Sounded like there was a lot to do. Very easy to
get to the venue. We went by car, used the tom tom. There were the National
Trust sign posts when we close. Parking facilities very good. I was surprised
how close we were to the festival. I thought it would be more of a walk but the
parking was right next to it. Leaving was a little tricky as there were not
many sighs but it was fine. We arrived just before 10am and went straight
through the VIP separate entrance. There wasn’t a queue for the other one
either but it all seemed to be very quick. Our names were on a list and we went
in. Wonderful, everything was done for the kids so it was all safe and she
could easily run a bit ahead of us. People were friendly. Lots to do, so much
we didn’t manage everything; there was great variety from crafts to woodland
activities. The circus was a little
disappointing but there was so much else it didn’t matter. She loved the pony rides and the helter
skelter. The performers on stage were
great and she watched and laughed at it all. She loves telling everyone that
she met from Alex and Mr Bloom from cbeebies. We haven’t done anything like this
as such before but we enjoy day trips and picnics and this was perfect. The
toilets were okay, they are what they are being porta loos. We took a picnic so
didn’t have much of the food apart from some churros which were lovely. Good variety of food although a bit pricey.
Nice drinks station for kids. We all felt very safe at this event. Everyone was
there just to enjoy things with the kids. Although it sounds expensive we were
there all day and did so much and still didn’t fit it all in. And as you only
have to pay for food once you are in I think it would be worth it. If this runs
next year we would defiantly go! Great day out for us all. We had a great time,
loved that everything was included so she could do pony rides and everything
else as well as just watch the stage. A great family day out. Lots to do for
the children. Well worth the price. Claire

venue beautiful setting very organised. Venue was easy to find using sat nav
system in the car. We had to pay for parking at the venue but the parking was
adequate and plenty of parking spaces. Easy system staff were filtering into lanes
lovely settings. It was lovely setting and children loved the deer on entering
the venue. The activities at the event were varied and there was something for
all ages although I felt more for older children with some of the adventure activities. My children loved our day out there my little
boy jack played in the under 3 section but I also felt it was safe enough for
him to have a run around as lots of room and wide open spaces for him to play. We
think it is important as a family to spend quality time together on days out
and we really did enjoy this time to do activities we wouldn’t usually do. There
were toilet facilities on site and plenty of seating areas for families like us
who had taken picnics to eat which I was very impressed with. There were a
number of food outlets which we didn’t use whilst we were there although I
didn’t agree that at an event for children that alcohol need to be sold. Very
safe lots of staff around and lots of space to play. Although the ticket price
included all the activities I do think the price of the ticket for a lot of
families would be too expensive but lots to do and great entertainment. We will
be visiting Tatton Park again as the children would like to attend the home
farm and see the rest of the grounds. We would also go again if this is on next
year. I think this would be great for families with older children and I have
recommended this to my family and friends already as they loved the photos I
had taken. Great day out for the family and lots of things to see and do would
recommend to others only thing that would have put me off this park would have
been the price of the tickets for a family of 4. This event was very good and
focus was on families good activities and plenty of room and space so didn’t
feel over crowded beautiful location have recommended this event to people with
slightly older children overall a fab day out.Kelly Cook – Emma & Jack 8 years & 1 year
