A really pleasant soft toy. The quality is very good, it is well made and soft to touch. My child reacted positively to the poorly penguin and wanted to know what was wrong with him. My child unfortunately has been unwell since we have given him the toy so he has showed little interest in him, the same as all his other toys at the moment. The toy helps a sick child to identify with something else when they are ill. I can imagine that this could be very useful for chilren with illnesses that mean that they have to stay in bed/at home for a significant period of time or having to go into hospital for an operation or treatment. The toy and website together are a well thought through and good idea, with lots to stimulate and interest young children. I don’t know whether the illnesses had to be all about broken limbs though, the makers might have been a bit more creative with this. Many soft toys can be bought cheaper but there also many more on the market at a comparable or even higher price.  Overall I think the pricing is fair as you get the extras on the website as well as the very specific purpose of the toy. I would consider buying it for a child who was seriously unwell, with more than a common cold or cough, when they are potentially laid up for weeks. Deborah Lamont – Reuben 4 Years

A fun and friendly looking soft toy that is excellent quality! My son loved it! he had been poorly with tonsilitis a few weeks beforehand so related to it being ill. We had pedro the penguin. He was excited to show it off to his dad and brother and told people at nursery about it. He goes back to it every so often, I can see how it could be of great comfort to a child having to go into hospital. The toy is quite expensive but comparible in price to other character soft toys ie Disney. I would  buy it in future for anyone going into hospital as I think this is such a good idea. A great innovative product which I could see having a lot of use in childrens hospitals. Steph George – Leo 4 Years

Very unusual and had not heard of this company before.  A lovely welcoming toy for Stevie and the website is fun to look through, inforamtive and has lots of information with a variety of characters on offer.  The quality is superb.  Stevie loved the Penguin and would not go to bed without it when feeling poorly.  Really helped relate to being ill and a winner with Stevie for sure. Helped Stevie understand being ill and he would tell me all about Pedro’s problems and how he is helping him get better.  A great comfort to your child when they are feeling low and miserable. This is a little expensive but when you look at the comfort it delivers and helps a child understand they need to get better then a brilliant idea. A really ingenious take on a soft toy.  We loved it and have already recommended and purchased for my niece who was poorly recently. Georgina Stout – Stevie 5 Years
