The book was a very attractive front cover and entices you to open and
read it. Jasmine didn’t seem to get involved and interested in the story that
easily however, and had to be encouraged to let me finish it. This may be down
to her age as she enjoys shorter stories at the moment. The illustration is excellent;
pictures on every page ensure younger readers stay interested. The picture
quality is very good and age appropriate. My daughter enjoyed reading this book
as the characters are loveable and interesting. The story is very good, I like
the introduction page as it makes it easier to relate to the characters
immediately. The story is fun and different. The easy text and lovely
illustration keeps the reader interested and the story is new and exciting. This
would make a good book for young but competent readers as the pages are inviting
and not intimidating. I would buy this book.
I would recommend as I like the characters and would love to read more
of grandma bendys adventures. I loved this book, the illustration is capturing
for readers, the story and characters are loveable. Well written and presented.
A perfect book to capture the imagination of those readers who are beginning to
develop their reading skills further. Easy to read and illustration that

The book looked very colourful with great illustrations. When the book
arrived I let my daughter open it and she was instantly pleased and she wanted
to know what it was about. She sat with it and went ahead looking at the
pictures and was very keen for me to start reading it. The illustrations were
good and showed the characters very clearly. My daughter would have liked them
to have been in colour and I do agree that colourful illustrations would have
been better but it did not stop the enjoyment of the story. I read the book as a bedtime story over a few
nights. It started off really well and my daughter wanted me to carry on the
first night which is always a good sign of a good book. She enjoyed hearing
what Grandma Bendy, Lucy and Max was going to do next! I think that my daughter
enjoyed the story and understood what was going on. She enjoyed the adventure
that the characters had trying to find the snake. The book was very stimulating
for my daughter, she loved looking at the illustrations and there were lots of
points of discussions and to chat about the characters actions and
consequences. My overall impression of the book was that it was a well-written
and illustrated book. The characters were clearly described and the story was
quick paced to keep attention. I probably would not buy this book, as after
reading it once I don’t think it would be one I would read again. I would
recommend this book to friends but maybe perhaps to friends with older
children. I was looking forward to reviewing this book and it did not
disappoint. The book was well written and illustrated. My daughter was
instantly drawn to look and for me to read the book. She enjoyed seeing the
characters and following their adventures while trying to find the missing
snake. Whilst we enjoyed sharing this book together it perhaps would be more
suited to older children who can read independently, as I did at times, miss
out some of the writing that accompanied the pictures whereas independent

The cover looked interesting some lovely facial expressions on the
characters on the front and my daughter wanted to find out what the story was
about. We started to read the book and
Gracie enjoyed the story. Liked the
characters and wanted to know what happened next. The illustrations are really good and
complimented the story. This book
certainly kept her attention. This is a
lovely adventure story and the characters come to life. This has been a really enjoyable book to read
and my daughter loved the story. Would
certainly buy this book as a gift and have already recommended. Great story, well written bringing the
excitement of the adventure alive and lovable characters too. Great read loved by my daughter. Vicky
