Lovely
backpack in the shape of a rocket, great shape and looks hardwearing with lots
of pockets and plenty of room. I was impressed with the quality and my son was
excited to try it out. I liked the look
of the 3D jet tanks and they look great however they make the bag quite heavy
and they pull the weight of the bag backwards as you use them which for my 4
year old who is quite small for his age this had a big impact. I am sure that
if he had been bigger this would have been less of a problem. We liked the way
they opened up and have mesh pockets inside and it made a great place to store
things in. We have found them a bit tricky to shut and open and you can’t load
the rocket pockets too much as then you can’t shut them; you are also very
limited about what to put in them because of their shape. On saying that they
do look great and they make the bag look the part. We really liked the reflective strips and
patches and this is a great bonus for when its getting darker on the way home
from school. A great feature. It was
really useful to have the snack pack and the water bottle holder as we use both
regularly and it makes for really easy access of these items quickly when you
are out and about. The drawstring top on the bottle holder also worked really
well to hold lots of different size bottles in it. I liked the mesh on the
snack pouch too. It is a hard wearing
material and we are really pleased with the quality and its ability to take
wear and tear and knocks from my young son.
I think it’s expensive and on the top end of what I would pay for a
backpack despite it being hard wearing. It’s
hard to say its great value because I don’t know how long it will last yet as
we have only had it for a month. It’s a
great product although I am still in two minds about the weight of the rocket
boosters. I would recommend as it is
good quality and I like the design. It’s
a great product and we have enjoyed using and wearing it. I am still in two
minds about the rocket boosters and I wish they were less heavy and so the bag
was more evenly balanced. As a result my son walked much slower and found the
bag much heavier than his usual one. The bag is large inside and I like the
additional pockets for drinks and snacks. I also liked the padded shoulders and the
detachable wristband this was very popular with my son and a lovely added
feature. I
was able to get the backpack on (just) when it got too heavy for my son to
carry on a longer walk we did which is a plus and I liked that it would grow
with the child and work for quite a few years – thus making it more good value
for money. Hannah Igoe – Jacob 4 Years

Well-made
and durable, looked like a jet pack and all the pockets are very handy. Arrived
just in time for our holiday. The 3D jet
tanks looked very good however my 3 year old found the zips at the top hard to
do up. Trying to get the zip up and over the corner was quite tricky even I had
a bit of trouble. The reflective safety strips
were a good safety feature and also worked well with the jet pack theme. My 3 year old loved putting his drink in the
side he felt it was very grown up having his drink with him. Well made, thick durable material/fabric used.
We took it on holiday to France and it has no markings, scrapes, etc. to show
for it. The communication cuff is well made and durable too. There is the practical use of the bag but
also the play value, Ben had hours of fun on holiday zooming around with his
backpack on. I feel this is something I would
purchase as it has more than one purpose.
I would recommend it to my friends.
I think it would be suitable for either boy or girl as it wasn’t a
gender specific colour which would make it more appealing for either. Only
reason I’m not giving it 5 is the problem we have doing the top jet pack zips
up. The backpack arrived in time for our holiday
to the south of France, ben vas so excited when he saw it he spent a good
couple of hours playing spacemen at home. He loved having his own special backpack which
he packed with all his bits (toys) for holiday. He used all the pockets to put
bits in. whilst wearing it he would put on the communication cuff and pretend
to talk to his fellow spacemen. It provided a practical use for him as well as
play toy which
helped keep him entertained on the long boat tip. Lisa Lidstone – Benjamin 3 Years

When this
first arrived I was very impressed. We
have not really used the 3D jet tanks as the zip has been hard to pull at. The reflective Safety strips are really handy
– great safety gimmick. Most backpacks
have water bottle holder and snack pouch so would expect them to be part of the
design. The quality is great, really
well made and sturdy. I do think the
price is high for this backpack. I would
recommend to friends who enjoy outdoor activities and vacations. Could do with a detachable lunch box as my
son used this every day for pre-school and needed a separate lunch box. Too bulky for a 3 year old – 5 years upwards
would be suitable. Amanda Williams – Leo

I would recommend as it is good quality and I like the design. It’s a great product and we have enjoyed using and wearing it. I liked that it would grow with the child and work for quite a few years – thus making it more good value for money.
