Really good.
Smaller and lighter weight than expected but still looked strong and good
quality. Very good clear packaging. It has good pictures of the Hobbledehoo,
simple diagrams and a clear age range shown. Instructions were very easy to
understand and clear. It was really easy to fit and my 4 year old was
comfortable wearing it. It adjusted both round the waist and from the shoulders
straps to ensure a snug fit with plenty of room for growth. Using this harness gave
us real peace of mind. We used the Hobblededoo skiing. My son is still a
beginner so being able to have the ability to hold him both close, on the
handle, and at a distance with the leash was a real benefit. The rubberised
handles were its best feature. It made it really easy to pick up my son when he
fell and keep a hold on him on the chair lift. I would like to see option of a
longer leash strap for when he gets a little more confidence or is riding a
bicycle for instance. Really good quality no down sides at all. It does offer
value for money as it fits from age 1 right up to age 7. Definitely would purchase
and I wish I’d had one last year on his first years ski session? We really
liked the Hodbbledehoo. It gave us real peace of mind while our son was wearing
it and made things so much easier on the chairlift and when he fell. The
handles were soft and comfy not plastic and easy to break and the size was
easily adjustable. I also felt it would be good for learning to cycle as you
could have control but not be too close. A really good piece of kit that I will

I thought
this product looked very interesting. Packaging is very nice and gives
impression of a good quality product. Story that is on the side of the box
describing what inspired company to design this harness is very nice touch. Instructions
are very clear and easy to follow. Adjusting shoulder straps was
straightforward but adjusting waist straps was very hard. It took some time to
set them correctly and after putting the harness onto my 1 year old son had to
tighten them up which was very difficult.
Harness goes over the child’s head easily and clicks in place under the
arms. After adjusting everything well my little boy looked very comfortable, wearing
it. Harness feels very secure. It was
very easy to control my toddler and to save him from falling over without
thinking that the straps are going to snap. Reflective stripes and print make evening
walks much safer. As my toddler prefers the freedom of walking now we used it every
day when we were out and about, doing the school run or just going to
town. It was much safer option than
trying to hold his hand when going to the park and being able to direct where
we were going gave him sense of independence. Front and rear grab handles are
my favourite feature. They enabled me to quickly and safely grab my child when
there was need for it. It would be nice to have more colour options as grey and
orange might not suit everyone. This harness is very well made. All the time we
have been using it, nothing snapped, broke or ripped which shows that materials
used are very strong. It is very easy to clean. This harness definitely offers
value for money. I would consider buying it. Definitely would recommend this
product to family and friends. This is a fantastic addition to any family with
a child that loves to wonder and to feel independent. After some fiddling adjusting
straps it’s easy to use thanks to quick release waist straps so you don’t have
to adjust harness every time you want to use it. Extra padding makes it very
soft and comfortable and surprisingly long leash that you can detach gives a
lot of freedom to the child. As it states on the box that this Hobbledehoo
harness was created to give children comfort, freedom and security and I think

Looks stylish
and expensive could be a little babyish for an older child. Bright Clean
Packaging explains and is clear what is indie and function of item.
Instructions easy to follow, precise and well documented. Very easy to fit
item, my child initially thought the item was cool and wanted to wear it
although the novelty soon wore off and he no longer liked it, I think this was
mainly due to him wearing it for safety in the street as appose to for sporting
safety. I think this harness has good safety features and for use in a sporting
environment I can see how the child could be much safer. I think for
street safety this item is much more suited for a younger child who may be just
walking and the extra features would support this. I used this item while on
the school run where I have 3 children under 5 to walk and while in busy
crowded shopping areas to maintain contact with my chid. The back-grab handle
was useful for stopping my child when needed it gave you a secure place to hold
and direct the child. I think the younger age group is who it is meant to be
aimed at can’t imagine a 7-year-old wanting to wear this maybe some kind of
feature to entice an older child to use it.
The product is made beautifully and to a very high standard, the overall
design and craftsmanship is brilliant. I think £30 is a little high for such a
product especially when other cheaper alternatives are available on the market,
I think it would be justified if marketed as a sports aid for young children as
oppose to a street safety item. I would
consider purchasing for younger child aged between 1-2 years. I would recommend but for sports or young
children only. I enjoyed trialling this product and we had fun trying it on and
using it, but I feel for the price there are better alternatives on the market
