The game is in a sturdy box and has nice bright pictures which caught my daughters attention. I liked this game as it was quick and easy to pick up and there were alternative ways to play which worked well with my daughter, she enjoyed working as a team rather than against each other. Instructions clear and easy to follow. Easy to pick up and my daughter got really into the game and didn’t want the seal to win! My daughter enjoyed playing this game collaboratively. I would say yes did improve her memory skills. My daughter quickly helped myself and my husband work out where each tile should go and tried to remember where her colour was if it was turned over. She learned more about working as a team and taking turns which she enjoyed. This did keep her entertained. My daughter will play more than one round and often brings the box to us to ask to play after dinner. This has been played multiple times each week. My daughter has only played this with her direct family but everyone enjoyed the game. My daughter really enjoyed working together to beat the seal and got so excited if the seal had a few tiles and the game was close. I liked the different ways to play as it allows the game to be changed up a bit and not become too repetitive. The quality is very good, the box is sturdy which is good for storage and the pieces and board are all sturdy too which has handled rough use by my daughter very well. I think this game would be good used in nurseries and early schools. I would say age suitability is good, my daughter is almost 3 and a half and thoroughly enjoys the game and understands how to play it. Good quality and great fun. I would buy this, I think this is a great game for young families. I would recommend as it’s good quality and fun for the family. Overall I don’t have anything bad to say about this game, it’s good fun and good quality. My daughter loves it. I really enjoyed testing this product and so did my daughter and husband. We’ve played it lots as a family and love the joy our daughter gets from it. Highly recommend to anyone with young children. Laura Colognori – Emma 3 Years

I was a bit shocked I had to take the pieces out myself but I did enjoy popping them out , cute little game. It promotes turn taking. Instructions easy to follow as an adult not so much a child. There were 2 games to play and they understood one of them. They did not understand how to play the second game. I would not say this helped improve their matching skills as they just picked a new one each time. It helped them to understand turn taking. This did keep them both entertained. My 4 year old enjoyed the game more and would play often. This was played with other siblings and myself and all enjoyed the game. My eldest enjoyed winning the game. I liked the fact it taught them how to take turns. It would have been better to be a fold out board game than a puzzle as it wouldn’t sit well on the rug. I do agree this is a good educational game. I’d say maybe 4 plus would be ideal, however my 3 year old is disabled and delayed. A bit pricey for a game you need to take apart yourself but otherwise good quality. I would buy this as a trusted brand. I would recommend as good fun. It maybe better aimed at 4-5 year old but I feel anyone older won’t enjoy so much. A good game to promote turn taking , while a bit on the pricier side teaching a child to take turns can be invaluable. Melissa Shirley – Xavier and Theodore – 4 & 3 Years

Good sized box with bright eye-catching colours. Interesting to have the option of everyone working together instead of against each other. My 3yr isn’t competitive yet so this part of the game worked nicely. It took me a while to appreciate there are two possible game options. Once I got my head around that, the instructions were simple. I had to explain to her that seals eat fish – which led to a nice conversation about snow/ice etc! She found it a little tricky to understand the rainbow fish because she is a very precise person. She liked helping me and her dad to all win against the seal. It definitely helped improve my child’s matching skills but I can’t see why memory would have been improved. This did help with personal social skills, because eventually my daughter was telling me how to play the game. She likes to direct, so this was a great way to show that. It keeps my 3yr old busy for about 45mins – I see that as quite a while for her age and attention span. She has asked to play this game 3 times since receiving it. Played with family and we all enjoyed it. She likes to match colours and fill all the circles with fish. I liked working together with my family to win against the seal. Great quality. However, the seal/penguin stands aren’t big enough and sometimes fall over – which my daughter found a little frustrating. I do agree this is a ideal educational game to have in nurseries and early schools. The age suitability is ideal. Great concept and good-sized box for playing whilst travelling. I would buy this because it is good value for money and I can see my daughter playing with it for a for years from now. I would recommend as it is refreshing and unusual to have the option of collaborative game or individual game. Overall, this is a great game. The only negative is that I found the stands too small/weak and kept falling over. Daughter also really enjoyed popping out the icons from the cardboard. Marion Frazer – Iona 3 Years
