Jersey Sleeping Bag

Ideal for infants aged 3 months+ who are transitioning from swaddling to arms-out or are already sleeping arms-out. Our Jersey Sleeping Bag has a slim-fit design and provides comfort, warmth and safety in the cot during sleep.

Our Jersey Sleeping Bag is a baby and toddler sleeping bag designed for arms-out sleepers (usually from around 3 months of age). The Jersey Bag has a slim-fit, stretchy design similar to that of a swaddle and is recommended as baby’s ‘first sleeping bag’ after the swaddling phase is over. The safe-sleep approved design is made from soft, stretchy GOTS certified organic cotton that is non-toxic and gentle of baby’s skin. The ergonomically designed bag features a bell-shaped bottom to promote healthy hip joint development and is approved by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute, and the material is stretchy to allow baby to move more freely and stay comfortable while they sleep.

The 2.5 TOG Jersey Sleeping Bag is perfect for keeping a child warm overnight in rooms 17-23℃ / 63-73℉. The TOG rating means that there is no need for additional blankets in the cot when using this product, making it a safe-sleep option. Parents can be rest assured that the breathable organic, natural fibres will help regulate their child’s temperature and prevent overheating. Parents can follow the FREE room thermometer and What to Wear guide provided with the product, to layer appropriately underneath to keep their child warm. We recommend pairing this pouch with one of our TOG-rated Layers or Bodywear underneath, and Arm Warmers can be added on top of the pouch for extra warmth (all sold separately).

The Jersey Sleeping Bag complies with AU, US, UK and EU safety and quality standards and is reviewed by the National Eczema Association as a skin-friendly product. All ergoPouch fabrics are dyed with non-toxic water based dyes, and come in trend-driven prints and colours to suit any nursery. All our prints are designed in-house.

Looked smart, lovely packaging. Was not expecting the thermometer and dressing guide with it. Lovely, useful idea. Design looks high, end. Love the detail, looks well-made and love the tog label on the side. Thermometer and dressing guide explained with easy to follow explanation. My child is bigger than average for his age and still fit him perfectly. Looks warm. Able to move around and get comfy while still being safe. My child is a very active sleeper. He was able to move around and get comfy while still being safe. This was perfect design for us. My child sucks his thumb for comfort and having arms out is exactly what we need while keeping the rest of his body warm. As I explained above, my child moves a lot while asleep and I was worried he may not sleep well with the sleeping bag however he slept better and this is now part of our night time routine. I was very jealous l, think they need to do adult sizes. I had no worries using this for my son. Its soft. Feels warm and he always slept through the night and woke up cosy. The sleeping bag had the perfect warmth and stretch got him to be comfortable, able to move and warm. My son woke cosy every morning. Was not overly hot nor cold. Seems the bag is safe and very breathable. We used this most nights and washed well and kept it’s shape and warmth. This was worn at most sleep times. Day time napping and at night. The material is soft, feels thick and warm. Looks well-made, and I had no concerns over the safety of this. No loose bits of cotton.  Followed the guide for washing. Came out having been washed and dried exactly how it went it. I was very impressed with how well it washed and how it did not lose shape. I like the reassurance and worry free nights. I do not need to worry if my son is cold/warm. No need for worrying about blankets or suffocation. My son likes the comfort of having the bag close and still being able to move. Cannot kick the blankets off and slept really well. I think it’s a brilliant price. There is cheaper ones around however they do not have the quality and reassurance of a well-made bag like this. Quality high end, looks cosy and warm and no worry from my side regarding being too hot or cold or if the blankets have been kicked off etc. I would certainly buy another. I love the sleeping bag. I love the peace of mind that comes with it. I have already recommended, my friend came over and asked about the bag and I could not recommend it enough. Lovely design when first received, the thermometer and dressing guide is brilliant. Especially useful for first time mums. No worries of blankets and kicking them off or suffocating. Soft, cosy and at a brilliant price.  Kate Nicholson – Koby 21 Months

High end product, new and interesting colour I hadn’t seen before.  Other sleeping bags I had used in the past were vibrant colour and not calming for sleep, nor organic or environmentally friendly. Design is sleep and modern with a luxury feel. Very simple and clear 4 point instructions. I think that this sleeping bag is more suited to a slim/normal build.  I have quite a chunky baby, and although the fabric had a stretch to I, it was quite tight fitting.  My 1 year old is 15KG, so heavier thank the weight recommended for the toddler bag. The material was very soft, however I think that the fitting was for a smaller and slimmer child. Arms out is a good feature and my child was already in an arms out sleeping bag. I think the bell-shaped bottom was comfortable.  It also allowed a bit of play in the sleeping bag once my child had woken up in his cot, as he was able to get into and e.g. kneeling position. The fabric was a top quality and I was happy that it could be washed and tumble dried.  I was impressed that he sleeping bag was not only organic, but nontoxic, as I have not seen other products like this on the market. The fabric was breathable and the sleeveless design aided body temperature regulation. We would use this twice daily. Mostly used in his cot. Top quality fabric, very soft and ideal thickness for the winter months. The structure and shape stayed washing at 30 degrees and also tumble drying on a regular basis.  The colour remained true to original. I liked the colours, muted tones to suit the bedroom and fit into all different bedding/environments. The ability to wake up and play in the sleeping bag without leg and his restrictions.  The environmental thinking behind the fabric and the brand.  The 2 way zips were ideal for nappy changing and checking to see if nappy was full etc.  It also allowed for extra playtime whilst semi inside the sleeping bag. I think my son probably loved the cosy fabric. This is good value as in line with other high end brands. I would buy this is I had a younger/slimmer baby/toddler. I would recommend.  It ticks all the boxes for ergonomic sleep, as well as being environmentally conscious and using organic and sustainable materials.  As an eczema sufferer, I was particularly interested in the fabric being reviewed by the National Eczema Association.  Many babies and children now suffer from eczema so a product like this that could help is very alluring. A great product for a slim/normal sized baby/toddler.

Looked very nice, seems high quality and lovely colour. Nice picture by the zip. Generally prefer side zips on sleeping bags. Instructions contained everything I needed. Good fit but tricky to get her arms in comfortably with the zip in the middle. This seemed a bit warm for my daughter. This was a good sleeping bag but wasn’t always easy to get her arms out when putting it on. Evie has hip dysplasia so having a bell-shaped bottom is very important for us and she had space to move her legs. We found this seemed to shrink after washing. Our daughter was comfortable and snug in this but if anything she was too warm just in the bag and pyjamas. Didn’t seem that breathable but perhaps should have had a lighter tog. Our daughter wore this over 30 times.  Mostly used in her bed (her cot) over night. Quality is good such a lovely feel and look. We could not put this in the tumble dryer and was hard to get completely dry. I was most impressed with the quality of this sleeping bag. I felt this was priced quite high compared to other similar products. The material was gorgeous but didn’t stay that way once washed and seemed to shrink. Personally we would not buy this as washing was difficult and you need something that is easy to use with babies. I would recommend and explain that I find the zip hard being in the middle and the washing isn’t the easiest but it is a lovely looking product and felt great. Tricky to wash and hard to get her second arm in once one was in. Very impressed with it when it arrived, looks high quality and very pretty. Became less practical once had to wash it and seemed to shrink a little making it even harder to get arms in with the zip being up the middle. David East – Evie 19 Months
