Kally Pregnancy Body Pillow Reviews

A good size, looked comfy, plump looking, nice coloured cover. Great, very welcome during pregnancy when sleeping has started to become more uncomfortable. Instructions were clear and straight forward.  This was very easy to use. I used this earlier in my pregnancy and found it almost too plump. But, as I have become larger the pillow has really come in to its own and I can feel the benefits of the size. It has made side sleeping much more comfortable and I feel supported. I was experiencing pain in my hips/lower back and with the pillow between my knees, when I wake up this pain is gone. It moulded to my body well. Didn’t go flat like some pillows. With the breathable cotton jersey this kept me cool and not sweaty or finding the fabric irritating.  I wasn’t keen on the buttons however; I would have preferred it with Velcro. I used this every night.  I used this in bed for sleeping and for support whilst sitting in bed. Also for support on the sofa. I have not had the need to store it yet as I have kept it out on my bed but I can see that it will roll up easily when I wish to pack it away. Removable cover makes it easy to wash. My husband sometimes steals it to sit up in bed in the morning, especially when using his laptop. Feels great quality. Some pregnancy pillows I have seen are flat as a pancake and this one fees far more luxurious.  Quite expensive, I would perhaps be more drawn to it in the shops if it retailed around the £35-£40 mark. I loved the colour and the comfort – matched our bedroom and sitting room and gave me comfort. I would buy this if it was slightly cheaper. I would recommend to pregnant friends or those needing additional support in bed. Would emphasize how it retains its shape. Very good – just a price tweak and slight design change would make it perfect. When I received the pillow, I was very excited as I had been looking to purchase a pillow like this anyhow. On first glance I was initially impressed with length, diameter, plumpness and softness of the cushion. Oddly, I found the pillow bulky and uncomfortable, when I used it in the early stages of my pregnancy; but as my pregnancy has progressed, the pillow has come into its own. The more I grow, the more I can’t do without it. The pillow supports my ever-growing bump, almost acting as a sling for my pregnancy. If I could change one thing – I would change the cover buttons for Velcro (as they sometimes dig into my skin), but it’s a minor thing that doesn’t detract from the joy of using it. Great product! Lovely, it was packaged well and included branded ribbons that I thought was a nice touch. I think that it is a good idea; I can see how it would help people get a good night’s sleep. It did not come with any instructions I had to google the website to see how to position myself. It was very easy to use. I am currently 7 months pregnant and although it was extremely comfortable and excellent quality I found it too warm to sleep with some nights so sleep was interrupted. This was effective as did give me support for back, neck and spine. However I felt like the interior maybe has too much in and I struggled to position it under my bump without finding myself rolling off in the night onto my back. The breathable cotton jersey is designed to keep you cool but I would say no to this statement. I found it made me warm in the night but this could have been the interior? I used 5 out of 7 nights per week. I used as much as I could. I mainly used this in bed at night time. Vacuum packing would be a good idea. It did not come with a bag to store in. the cover easily comes off and washed lovely in the machine. My husband did try this and he enjoyed it. It really is excellent quality. I would have given a 5 but in my current position I haven’t used it as much as I would have liked too. The cover is so soft and huggable. It stayed that way after washing too. I would not buy this as I didn’t get the full effect being pregnant and that is my only reason.  I would recommend as it is a great product. I definitely don’t recommend if pregnant as it did make me roll onto my back during the night following the guidelines on how to use it. The cushion had too much filling to be able to support my bump. However If I was not expecting this would be great especially in the winter to support a good night sleep. Nicola Kelly – Mum To Be

It looked great and I looked forward to trying it. It is different to my existing pregnancy pillow, but looked forward to trying this one to see if it was any better. Picture instructions explained it all. Very easy to use, just follow what the picture description/ it’s self-explanatory. This did keep the bump supported.  This was good as it did mould to my body, but I felt it was just a little too big. I don’t think it needs to be as big as it is. It was comfortable to sleep with. I only like natural fabrics so this was a win. I used this every night, but now have it packed away with my hospital bag and am back using my old one. I mainly used this in bed at night.  It fits easily back in its bag. The straps on the bag easily broke though within the first day, so this needs improving. This was easy to keep clean, however the workmanship on the sewing of the buttons wasn’t great and during the first week of using it three buttons popped off. I have now sewed these back on. The manufacturer needs to ensure the buttons are better sewed on with more thread. No one else used this pillow apart from me. The only let down was the buttons falling off and so I had to sew these back on within the first week of using it.  It would be even better value for money if it then doubled up as a feeding pillow as I presume after my baby arrives I won’t be using it again unlike my other pillow which is a pregnancy and feeding pillow. I did love how comfy and soft this was. I would not buy this as I already have a great pregnancy pillow and this one takes up too much room in the bed. My husband says it feels like there is another person in bed with us thanks to the pillow. I would not recommend for the same reason. The pillow helps you to sleep and nicely supports your bump throughout pregnancy, but is let down due to the points above. Stephanie Ward
