The book was
really lovely, phoebe enjoyed reading it and looking at the lovely pictures. She
did enjoy the story and was motivated to read the book. She loved the illustrations and they
complimented the story. My daughter
enjoyed reading this book and said it was a lovely story. She loved the illustrations and stated it was
not a hard book to read. This is a
lovely paperback and would love to see it available in hardback. We would buy other books in the series and
would keep eye out for this author. This is reasonable value for paperback and
I would recommend to others. A lovely
children’s story with lovely illustrations. Gemma Nightingale – Phoebe 9 years

I thought the title was a bit unusual and not obvious that it was a character’s
name. My daughter thought it looked fun and happy and was keen to read it. Glossy
good quality paper. The front cover is colourful; she did not understand the
title. She thought it was possibly for younger readers. I think the illustrations
look like a foreign cartoon. My daughter thought the pictures didn’t
necessarily show the characters feelings accurately. She found it a little boring in parts. We
thought the story was a bit tricky to follow in parts. Was not a stimulating book as did not grab
her attention? I personally think it is expensive for a paper back. Not one of our favourites. Michelle Williams-Green – Lexi 10

We wasn’t
impressed with the book when it arrived it didn’t look like a book for my
childs age range. Quality of the book is average like any other books really. My
child didn’t like the look of the book the person on the front looked too old
fashioned for her age group which put her off. Pictures look like it should be
for an older book and dressed too old for her age group
struggled to read some of the words which put her off the book. Unfortunately
my daughter did not like the story as did not really understand it. Personally I think this book is better suited
to older children. Unfortunately my
child did not like this book she tried to read it but struggled with some of
the words which totally but her off the book and the pictures looked too old
fashioned and old for her age range. Sarah O’neil – Leah 6 Years
This is reasonable value for paperback and I would recommend to others. A lovely children’s story with lovely illustrations.
