This product is excellent. A clearly laid out website makes logging on easy and the junior version is child friendly and walks them through step by step. I had never heard of KAZ typing prior to being asked to review the product. This was simple enough. Use the user name and password given and log on like you would do any other website. Then with a few simple clicks you will have your child learning to type. I didn’t try to download the product, nor do I know if it is possible, however, everything is accessible online and easy to use so I didn’t feel the need to even try and download it. The instructions are excellent. I always
selected to complete with sound and a clear, easy to understand voice talks
your child through all of the instructions. There is even a “getting started”
section that explains all the various boxes and steps your child will
encounter. Then, once you get going it gives a brief overview again. My
daughters found the program very easy to use and get along with. It is very
simple and is as easy to navigate as some of the websites schools use for
homework. This meant even my 6 year old could begin using it once I had logged her in. they got to grips with this very quickly. It begins with the basics of teaching the children where the “Home” keys are and where their fingers should be positioned on the keyboards. It then begins with simple phrases to get 1 or 2 fingers moving away from the home keys before returning. It has no time limits or penalties for making mistakes, this makes it extremely child friendly as they can take their time and learn at their own pace. This made it easy for my
kids to follow and they both improved their typing skill drastically while
using the product. They enjoy using it so I know they will improve even more
over time. I was going to mark this down to 4 as the graphics could be better,
however this would be doing the product a dis-service. The site is easy to
navigate, the instructions are clear and the whole program is easy to follow.
The fact that my kids typing improved significantly is sentiment to the quality
of the product. I love How easy the product is to use. The developer has
obviously taken the time to ensure it is child friendly. I logged on for my
kids to make sure the passwords were pun in correctly and after that they could
be left on their own to work through the program as they saw fit. This product is
great value. In the days of tablets and speech to text, many people struggle to
type on a keyboard until exposed later in school life. For the small price tag,
this can get your kids touch typing before leaving primary school. You can’t
put a price on education, especially since IT is everywhere in the modern day
work place. Would definitely recommend to schools and colleagues. This program would fit well into any school curriculum. IT lessons are not going anywhere soon, KAZ presents touch typing in a clear, well laid down and understandable way that kids can understand. Why would schools not want this? From start to finish this has been an excellent experience. Getting onto the program was easy and KAZ is well laid out making it easy for the kids to navigate. The proof, they always say, is in the pudding. Since using this, my girls have improved in leaps and bounds. Watching them type was once a frustrating experience, now they are off, racing around the keyboard like they have been doing it for years. They are by no means perfect touch typists and will need lots more practice before they get close to that, but I am still happy scoring this 5/5 as they now know the layout of a traditional keyboard. As kids who are used to tablets, they were never confident with typing on a keyboard, now they are. The program has been a pleasure to use, so much so I’ve used it myself and improved my own ability. My girls still enjoy using it and I’m sure they will continue to use it for some time, another reason why it is such good value for money.I’d recommend anyone to buy this as ever adults will benefit from its

It is a simple product, easy to use but gets a little repetitive and boring after a
while. I hadn’t heard of it prior to reviewing it for Bizziebaby. Very easy to login and order online. As it is an online product with no option to download, I had to bookmark the page for accessibility. Instructions very clear and easy to follow. It was very easy to use. Not so much on a tablet unless you have a keyboard with it. But on a computer it was a lot better. I did not get on with this very well if I am honest. I can type well and quite fast but knowing you are being basically timed while typing kind of put me off a bit so my scores were not too great. The quality of the product is good, I would have liked to be able to download it onto the family PC so the whole family could use it rather than having to log onto a website. I liked the concept of the typing, being able to not look at the keyboard while typing and trying to get you to type faster with fewer mistakes. For £19.95 per annum for a license I think it is quite expensive I think it could be lowered as it seems the download of this is only £10 more. I don’t think I would buy it. There are many free products similar online. I wouldn’t recommend unless they were asking if I knew of anything that helped speed up their typing skills. Experience was okay, apart from the feeling of being rushed so made silly mistakes which obviously lowers the score. Price is a little too expensive for what it is.Rachel Simons – Skye 10 years

With 2 daughters who are always on the computer writing and preparing
tasks for school this seemed like the perfect product for them to try. The website is easy to use and navigate and the Junior edition took them both through each step and explained everything clearly. I must admit I was not award of
KAZ typing products prior to the review.The set up and process of organising everything online was easy for my daughters. Well they are computer savvy
from an early age now. It is all available online and my daughters would just go through each stage. The instructions are very clear and easy enough to follow. You can also opt for sound and this made it easier for the girls to follow. This offers you a getting started section and also you obtain a review of your progress.My daughters did not encounter any problems using this online
programme. The whole programme outlines how to begin, the keyboard and how to position your fingers on the keyboard. The programme starts them off with simple excercises and they could take their time at each stage. A really good programme which allows each child to learn at the pace that suits them. I have seen a real difference in their typing skills now which makes it easier and quicker for both my daughters to prepare various essays etc for themselves or school work. It has also increased confidence on the keyboard and no longer just using 2 fingers. Now they have this to work with I know their typing skills will continue to improve.This is good quality, easy for children to use and lets them go at their own pace which is so important. This is certainly really good value and I am surprised this is not in more schools. A great product which is child friendly and easy to follow. Now my daughters are confident using keyboard on our home computers and they will only continue to improve their skills. A great product and I would highly recommend.Excellent value for money, easy to navigate website, easy to learn and results are great.
