When it first arrived I thought it was compact and smalI. loved the concept of promoting independence with my toddler. Loved the design and the fact it can be used on all types of stairways. Instructions were well explained. Initially I thought it would be difficult as I’d ordered the wrong size but I was advised how to reduce the size and put together. Very easy to install. My husband fitted it and it took him around 45 minutes – He’s not a big DIYer. Very confident that it was safe and secure for my toddler. Absolutely made it safer for my toddler going up and down the stairs. Because it’s at a lower level, it’s easier for him to reach. He had no need to overstretch and therefore could save energy for climbing up and down the stairs properly. He absolutely loves it. He loves being independent and climbing the stairs is where he can show this off. He’s disappointed that not everywhere we go that has stairs, has a KiddieRail. I liked the fact it was easy to reach for my son. Good quality and very sturdy. This is good value because my toddler is more confident in the stairs we can eliminate the use of stairgates downstairs. It’s not widely advertised but if I’d seen it prior to being allocated one to test. I would have definitely purchased one. My Son hates being held back and this has been the perfect addition for safety on our stairs. I Already have recommended. Health Visitor has also been very impressed with it on a recent visit. I’m so disappointed that I had never been introduced to this with my eldest two children. The confidence and independence this allows my child to have whilst climbing up and down the stairs is amazing. He’s never one to be held back and this has been the perfect addition to our home. It gives us peace of mind too. It’s safe and secure and also easy on the eye. We love it. my son loves it and guests also love it. it’s a great talking point, even for those that deliver parcels. At first I thought the product didn’t look strong enough the support the pressure of anyone using it. I also thought it did look a little bit flimsy. I think it’s a brilliant idea to help aid the development of children’s independence of walking up and down the stairs. As well as being a safety feature it is also developmental and fun for child. The design is basic but it works. And now we have it up I think it looks quite smart and goes with our stairs. I think it would suit any style and decor of any home. The instructions were a bit all over the place. The order of the instructions weren’t correct in the book and it was confusing to begin with. Did get the hang of it eventually. For the most part it was quite easy. Only the beginning points were tricky but after that it was straightforward or basically doing the same thing repeatedly. It took my partner about an hour to complete. I don’t think my toddler is able to pull it from the wall but I do think an older child might be able to – the raw plugs provided weren’t great. Absolutely safer for our son to go up and down the stairs. He enjoys using it. He is less likely to linger on the staircase and just wants to get up or down. At first he thought he needed two hands but he now knows only one is needed. It is fun for our boy to use and also our older son has used it too. The oldest suffers with ADHD and can become distracted easily – even on the stairs – so the rail does keep him occupied all the way up and down. It is great to have something safe, useful and fun for our boys to use. Quality seems fine for a toddler. Feels unbreakable for a child. The price seems a bit steep for the product. For something that will only be needed a few years. However as time will tell it might become more worth it throughout his development. I would consider buying this. It’s safe, fun, and great for development. This would be suitable for anyone with young children so we would happily recommend it to anyone we know. Overall the product is great for both of our children. We feel comfortable letting our boys use the product (with supervision) and would happily use this product long term. Experience overall is good and had no issues since installing. Charlotte Hastings – Franklin 22 Months

Product materials don’t seem to match the £89.99 price point unfortunately. It felt quite cheap. The concept is great, a child sized rail for them to use getting up and down the stairs without them having to struggle with a ‘normal’ rail. Design is good but again it felt quite flimsy, when secured to the wall it does feel more sturdy. We felt the instructions we a little difficult to follow. The fitting kit was sufficient, but we kept having to change to different attachments on the drill but not too bad. It took about 30 minutes to fit. Now properly secure my child is fine using the rail. Having a rail at a better height for them than a normal rail is definitely a help for them to use the stairs more safely. It is secure on the wall and not had any issue with sliding hands from our child. I liked the fact this is a good secure rail for our child to use going up and down the stairs. Quality seems OK it does feel a little cheap but when attached to the wall its secure. For the RRP we feel this is overpriced. Would not purchase which is really down to price of this item. If asked I would outline the price so they can decide themselves. Instructions a little confusing and the product felt a little cheap. Secure when on the wall but the price point is too high. Concept of the product is good. It’s helped with his confidence going up and down the stairs( particularly with our niece who has used it today, she has cerebral palsy and it helped her a lot today). Secure when on the wall but for the price point it does feel quite steep. Adam Proctor – Oliver 4 Years
