An
incredibly high standard of cotbed mattress, which uses advanced technology to
ensure the comfort of my daughter as she grows and becomes heavier. The
mattress was contained within a thick opaque polythene packaging until it was
unwrapped and it was covered in a second polythene wrapping inside, detailing
the product information. This ensured the safe delivery of the product and that
no damage occurred. Obviously there is a limit to how useful instructions are
with a mattress but, having researched online about this product, I was
impressed about the information I could find about turning the mattress to
ensure even wear and to extend its’ life appropriately, Also about the
functionality of the technology inside it. It’s clear this is a superior
product. My daughter’s original cotbed mattress was £79.99 and this is
instantly thicker, more sturdy and obviously of better quality than the
original purchase. Because children are so lightweight when you initially buy a
mattress you don’t consider the growing impact that their increasing weight
will have on a mattress. The technology inside this one ensures that it will
easily serve its’ purpose for the duration of her toddler years. Darcey seemed
instantly more comfortable. We involved her in the unpacking and the making of
the bed once it was installed and she slept soundly once on it. I haven’t
experienced any staining or issues in that nature and it feels incredibly durable
and long-lasting. Not all parents will be able to afford an RRP like this one
and so may opt for a cheaper mattress but just comparing the two that we have
makes me realise that it’s worth spending the money on something better
quality. For a second baby I would definitely be encouraged to invest more in
the mattress. It’s not something I put much thought into when purchasing for
Darcey. We have really enjoyed testing it and Darcey seems thoroughly
comfortable in it, too. This mattress has ensured a comfortable nights’ sleep
for Darcey since we’ve started using it. The information both within the
packaging and online has full advice for the care and extension of life of the
mattress and I feel this alone will allow us to get the full benefit of this
product. I always think about turning our mattress but haven’t even considered
turning Darcey’s until now. It is clearly a product which is of very high
quality and I feel like it will last until we put Darcey into a proper single
bed, whereas we may have needed to purchase a new one if we’d continued using
the old mattress. The price is certainly an off-putting factor for many parents
but I believe it is something worth investing in, particularly with how much

The
item looked really good quality and first impressions were good. The mattress
itself was packaged well. There was plenty of padding and protection, however
the mattress did not come in a box, which may have meant the product was better
protected. The instructions with regards to maintaining the life and quality of
the product were simple and straightforward. The product did not need any
self-assembly so instructions for this were not necessary. The product appears
to be robust and of very high quality. I’m very impressed with the quality
against other mattresses that we have purchased in the past. The
hypoallergenic aspect was definitely my favourite feature. My son has numerous
allergies and has always struggled to sleep. Although it has not been a miracle
cure we have noticed recently that he is sleeping better and not coughing in
the night, which previously was a constant problem. The product has a lot of
positive and great features. However, it is a very high value mattress and
significantly more expensive than other mattresses I have seen. Therefore, I
would expect the product to be cheaper than it is. I would consider buying the
product if it was not as expensive. After having looked around, it can be sourced
at a lower price so I would consider buying it. I would especially recommend
this product to friends with children who have allergies. The only reason for a
slight drop in my overall score is due to the cost. I think if it was cheaper,
the product would definitely benefit more families of children with
allergies. The delivery was prompt,
although the time and day of delivery we were given were both incorrect but
thankfully we were in when it arrived. The product looks good, feels good and
is comfortable. The waterproof feature is great, especially as we have a son
who is often sick. Overall experience was excellent and I am very satisfied

Overall
I had a good first impression of this product, it came well wrapped and apart
from a slight dust mark on the mattress cover (which came out in the wash) I
thought that this looked like a good quality product.The product came
wrapped up in waterproof packaging and arrived safely without damage. The
instructions were informative and provided useful information about theEllergenic
Company and the idea behind the mattress to reduce allergens to promote healthy
sleep for the child. It also contains information on the lullaby trust. The
instructions could be improved by adding the washing and care instructions of
the mattress instead of just on the label. The mattress provided firm and
comfortable support for my little girl. It would perhaps be slightly more
comfortable if the mattress was slightly thicker but I can’t complain as it
provided good night’s sleep. The mattress cover was soft and has the added
bonus of being washable at 60 degrees. Great quality product. The fact that it
is approved bythe
British Allergy Foundation with the Allergy UK seal of approval provides peace
of mind for parents, particularly if your child has allergies.It protects
against dust mite allergies and this can beneficial if you’re little on has
asthma. This Ellergenic product benefited my little girl as she slept
comfortably and it benefited us as parents as we had peace of mind knowing she
was sleeping safely. Yes this is good value.
A good night sleep is priceless to a parent! You would pay more to know
your child is having a healthy night’s sleep.I would consider
buying this product as it was a top quality product with the Allergy UK Seal of
approval. I would recommend especially if they were worried about their little
ones allergies or asthma.Excellent product, would
recommend to family and friends. Great quality and approved by the British
Allergy foundation is a bonus. It is also nice to know that Ellergenic also
donate money from the sale to the lullaby trust. Priceless for a good night’s
