Knightley’s Adventure’s Body Lotion Sweet Pear and Shea Reviews

The design of the bottle was good and would definitely attract me in a shop. The lotion itself smelt lovely and was felt luxurious. The yellow was bright and out there. The elephants were a cute touch. Overall I really liked the design however it didn’t have any relevance to the name/smell of the product in my opinion. Twist to first use and a pump. Easy and simple. Good consistency not too thick and not too thin so glided on skin and rubbed in really easily. Perfect consistency at first it seems quite thin but once you start rubbing it absorbed really well. This did leave my son’s skin feeling smooth and silky. My son has some dry areas on his skin. When first applied definitely made the area less dry but no long term benefit. I used this every night as a moisturiser after his bath.  I did like the aroma. It’s quite a unique smell for baby lotion and slightly over powering. I was a bit concerned it would be too strong to use on baby but he seemed to be ok. Hard to say if good value. You can definitely get cheaper moisturisers that do the same job. But I would pay for this product again. This is good quality as left skin soft and smooth did everything it was supposed to. I would buy this as I liked the smell I would be interested in other products as I did like the quality.  I would recommend again mainly the attractiveness of the bottle and the smell of the moisturiser and because it did leave babies skin smooth. I enjoyed using it and making it part of our bedtime routine. No real complains with the product. Overall experience was positive. After a bath I would pop a couple of pumps on my hand and massage into baby. Would rub into skin really well and absorb into babies skin and never felt like too much product was left over. Happy to be introduced to this product and brand and would definitely look to buy more in the future. Nicole Hunt – Son 5 Months

It was packaged extremely well and looked aesthetically pleasing whilst packaged. It was wrapped well and protected within the packaging. It was a lovely looking bottle. It was a nice bright yellow with a lovely elephant design on it. From the bottle it seemed like it would be a lovely product to use on both myself and the children. Unfortunately the pump action of the bottle didn’t work so I had to unscrew the lid to be able to get the moisturiser out. I’ve rated a 2 as for me testing the product it didn’t reach full marks for this reason, however it may have been a one off and I can see that if the pump action did work then it would be very simple to use and could be done with only one hand. This was a lovely, easy cream to apply to the skin. It wasn’t too thick, nor too thin and glided on to the skin very easily. It mostly absorbed into the skin very well. It did leave a slight residue on the surface but that didn’t last too long and eventually did absorb too. It has helped keep the skin soft and it smells lovely too which is an added bonus. I used it daily and also after bath time. It was a nice added feature into our daily routine. It was used as an all over body lotion but also as an aid to a bit of baby massage too. It was the perfect consistency for that and helped perform the massage movements without absorbing too quickly.  The aroma of the moisturiser was lovely. You can certainly smell the floral tones, however they are not overpowering. Then there is almost like a creamy vanilla undertone to it that compliments the floral tones very well. My daughter did enjoy this when used for baby massage. I believe this is good value for money. It was an excellent size bottle and was well used. A little goes a long way with the cream so it definitely lasts longer. Overall it was excellent quality. The only thing that has let it down for us is the pump action on the bottle. However we have still been able to use it. The cream itself is lovely, the perfect consistency for us, it smells lovely and absorbs well other than a slight residue that did eventually absorb. However the residue wasn’t sticky nor uncomfortable so we didn’t feel it to be too much of an issue at all. I would consider buying other products in the series. It’s excellent value for money and a lovely moisturiser to work with that actually does work and helps keep the skin feeling lovely and soft. I would recommend to family and friends. We have enjoyed using this cream and will be buying more ourselves in the future. It would have received 5 had the bottle worked as it is supposed to. It’s very well packaged, looks and smells aesthetically pleasing and it does a great job at keeping the skin soft and moisturised. Overall it has been lovely to be able to review this moisturiser. The packaging and the bottle look very nice, the smell of the cream is lovely but not overpowering. It is a lovely consistency making it easy to apply and it has helped with keeping skin feeling soft and moisturised. The only down side to it was the pump operator did not work on the bottle. I would still buy this product again as that could just be a one off, and I would recommend to friends and family also. Louise Ambrose – Iris 5 Months

I was impressed when the lotion arrived, it was packaged in brightly colluded tissue paper and was a good size bottle so I knew it would last a while.  Very pretty design, safari theme, would look lovely on a nursery shelf or in a family bathroom. I loved the pump style bottle, it meant I could easily & quickly pump some onto my daughters skin without too much mess or waste. She also loved to help me and I didn’t have to worry about her fingers catching as with other bottle click lids. The lotion was very easy to apply to skin, it was a smooth consistency, and a small amount went a long way so I only needed a palmful to cover her entire body. The lotion was quite easily absorbed, once not too much was applied (it wasn’t overly thick so if you used too much, It would be a bit watery and take longer to absorb). I was happy with how my daughter’s skin felt after using the lotion, it was soft and smooth when applied. I applied twice daily to ensure her skin didn’t dry out.  She has slightly dry skin at times and needs to be moisturised daily. This lotion worked well but I used morning and evening rather than just once a day. I used this twice daily morning and evening. This was used to moisturise my daughters skin during the day and after her bath.  I loved the scent of this lotion, it was my favourite part of using it. It was fruity but not overpowering. My daughter was also delighted with it.  She is quite playful and loved the pump bottle. She is only 2 and I put also some in her hands to rub on her face while I applied it to the rest of her body. I was pleasantly surprised with the cost of the lotion as it is a decent sized bottle for only £3 and goes a long way. I also love the pump bottle and it could have another use when lotion is finished. For the price the quality is great, although it could have been slightly thicker consistency to make it feel really luxurious & creamy. I would buy this lotion and would also love to try the others in the collection. If all the bottles are also as pretty, I will buy them for my new baby’s nursery. I would recommend as great product for a great price.  For the price this is a quality product- looks great, easy to use bottle, lovely consistency and absorbs well. However I did have to use twice daily to ensure her skin remained moisturised but I don’t consider this an issue as it was such a great price. You can’t go wrong giving it a try.  My daughter can sometimes get dry skin but this was not an issue when using this lotion, it kept her skin nice and smooth and smelt fantastic. It looks great on her shelf and she loves to help me apply to her skin thanks to the pump bottle (no fingers getting caught as with click lids). I would highly recommend this lotion for children. Ciara Polhill –  Aoibhín 2 Years
