I was very impressed when the Lascal Buggy board mini arrived. The box was neat and everything was packaged so it didn’t get damaged. The box was clear what was inside and what design we had been sent. I loved the design of the buggy board – I tested the black and white leopard print design which was smart and funky at the same time. The instructions were clear, there were one or two bits which took me a little bit of time to work out. This was easy to fit our buggy, I fitted it to both our silver cross pioneer and our bumprider connect 2. Once the buggy board was fitted after a few attempts, it was safe and secure. I struggled a little to connect the board at the width which left it unstable whilst I worked it out. Once it was at the correct width, it was very stable. The push button operation was effective. This made it incredibly easy to connect and disconnect the board from the buggy. My toddler found this very easy to use and comfortable – I struggled to get her off the buggy board and make her walk! The suspension system worked very well and my toddler was able to stay on the board whilst we went over kerbs and bumps. The board worked really well on the silver cross, however on the bumprider it was more difficult to use and this made it difficult to walk and push at the same time comfortably. My three year old really enjoyed using the Lascal buggyboard mini. The strap and hook kept the buggy board out of the way and worked really well on the silver cross, however on the bumprider the positioning of it meant it was in the way of me as I pushed the buggy. I used the Lascal buggyboard mini approximately 3 times a week since receiving it to test. I used the buggy board the most when walking to and from the park and up to the town. My little one loved the fact they could stand on the board and be pushed whilst being able to see everything. I liked the fact I was able to take only one pushchair out when taking the twins out rather than needing two. Great quality as the board was robust and comfortable to use. I believe the buggy board is good value for money and particularly for people who have a toddler and a baby, saving them having to buy a double buggy. I would consider buying the board as it would enable me to just take out a single buggy. I would recommend as it has been very useful and works well when there are two children to take out. I would give the buggy board a 5/5 as it is robust and makes it easy to travel with children. Really good product that will last a long time. I was really pleased with how compact it was I’d seen others that were really big and took up a lot of boot space. When I first looked I thought it was really clever how it folded down so small. I looked at the item and to be honest I just expected it to be fold and click I thought that was going to be the joy of it but it was a bit more difficult to put together than I expected. It was a good fit for my Egg buggy although because of the way the egg handle is, it was a bit awkward for my boy to stand on and not bang his head. It worked better with our silver cross push chair where the handle was higher. I liked the push button but would be great if the arms were hinged and could just bend backwards to stow away. My son did find it comfortable but not necessarily on the Egg pram and at times it seemed like it might be a bit small for his feet so we had to keep an eye on him in case he accidentally shifted on the board. I didn’t actually think the wheels seemed that large? Although it was decent enough for foot path walks I can’t say I really noticed suspension and big wheels. I definitely noticed it was easy to walk behind the Lascal BuggyBoard due to big wheels.  It was a lot easier to push the pram with this than my friend who had a bigger buggy board and she had to side step. It was effective for our 3 year old for sure I can’t imagine a 6 year old easily using it with our pram set up though because of head height and the pram handle. Having the strap and hook to clip the board out of the way was good but what was also good for me was it was small enough for the buggy basket underneath. I used this about 7 times. Used this walking the dog on a footpath around a country park and around the village or it was in the pram basket on day trips just in case. I loved that it fits under the pram and can be folded away. I wish you could just bend the connection arms back on hinges to fold away instead of removing parts to make it packable. I didn’t quite think the wheels were super durable / cushioned but maybe that was me. Generally yes I would say this is good value. I would purchase for travelling / space saving versus longer walks where he needs to sit down, I’d get a seat buggy board for that I think this one is quite small he has to concentrate on where his feet are. I would recommend as a travel option not their main buggy board. I thought it was a good buggyboard I did think the size was very good will travel but I would say that is what it’s for a travel option not my main buggy board I think to use it as a main one you need a seat or bigger foot space. When i first saw the buggyboard I thought it would be extremely useful for my kids that are walking while my baby uses the pram (2months old). I loved the design, It was simple yet eye catching. I found the instructions simple to follow however did need to use a video to help. I was confused at which way the straps should be put on the pram frame itself. The buggyboard was a challenge to fit to my Graco Time2Grow travel system. It only just fits, pushing the clips outwards. We have used the buggyboard multiple times and never had an issue with it coming off at all or anything of the sort, but because it is a very tight fit I do worry that it could “pop off” from the clip. I love how easy it is to disconnect and connect the buggyboard from the pram, you are able to set it up once and once the clips are on there the board can be attached within literally 5 seconds. My 5 year old loves using the buggyboard and asks to use it every time, however my 2 year old was more interested in walking most of the time, she felt uneasy holding onto the pram to stay steady. I found I had to ask my children to step off the buggyboard when going up bigger kerbs, but was fine over smaller kerbs, doorways and around corners. It did not handle well however on certain floor types in shops. I found because of how low it was to the ground and how much room my child had with the board I had to stand further back from my pram to push it without kicking the buggyboard. I found that made pushing the pram completely fine when using 2 hands but as I had another child walking with me, pushing 1 handed caused the pram to easily swerve to the left or right, despite it being easy to push 1 handed without the buggyboard. My 5 year old enjoyed using the buggyboard mini but I did find because he’s heavier (even on the lowest centile for weight and height at his age) than my 2 year old that it made it fairly difficult to push the pram. Being able to fold out of the way was an extremely useful feature as it stops it from rattling when moving (when no one is stood on it) as well as getting in the way while walking. However if you hit a bump or knocked it with your knee it would unhook itself, it would have been better to have a clip rather than a hook. I would use this at least 2-3 times a week. I used it when going shopping to and from town the most. My 5 year old loved the fact he didn’t have to walk and was able to get on and off as much as he wanted. I like that it gives your child more freedom than being sat in the pram whilst giving us parents reassurance that your child is safe instead of running off or having to hold their hand. It’s a win-win situation for both parent and child. I have no complaints over the quality, it is sturdy, lovely design that has held up to muddy shoes, easy to attach/detach and feels secure for my children to stand on. I think this is good value for the right customer. I believe this is worth buying for a customer with only a baby and 1 other young child, but as I have 2 I found it made the pram very difficult to control with 1 hand. I love the design, I love the idea behind it and i think it’d be very beneficial to lots of families but for me personally it made my trips out a little harder. I would recommend. As stated above I think this would be beneficial for families with only 1 child walking that needs your attention along with your baby and pram. It would be peace of mind for parents to know your child is safe and for the child to not get tired from walking, avoiding a tantrum or generally just slowing you down by an hour. I think the product is a great solution for both parents and young children/toddlers to tired legs, safety issues and to slowed down trips to places. The designs you can choose from are all lovely and the buggy board is sturdy but lightweight. I don’t think it will fit all families and it does not fit all prams even with the extenders attached. When using it without my 2 year old with us it sped up my trips but made it hard to push the pram. It makes the pram harder to control especially 1 handed but the latches are easy to assemble and once on the pram can be left making it very convenient to take on and off within seconds. It’s a lovely design and feels safe and secure for my son to use. It’s a shame the buggyboard mini wouldn’t allow for my pram to stay as a double even with the extenders attached as this would have allowed me to use it with all 3 kids.
