Before we attended the park looked very bright and colourful on the website. We got there From Waterloo to Eton Riverside (1hour+) then took the shuttle bus from outside Eton Riverside station to the Park. Ticket cost £4.50 return for adults and £2.50 return for children, under age 3 go free. Although we didn’t drive I could see that there were ample of car parking spaces. There was a member of staff at each gate if it was in operation. All the staff had friendly smiles on their faces which was very refreshing and welcoming. The park was very family orientated. I loved the fact that there was lot of ting Lego People figures dotted all over the park. This was great for taking pictures alongside. There were lots to and I found the children very excitable about being in the park. We visited in September and the weather was very pleasant for that time of the year, not too hot or cold. It allowed us to have a unique exciting family day together. Anything that entertains the children has got to be fun. There were plenty of choices in the restaurant including kids menu. Kid’s breakfast served until 11.30 and priced between £4.50 and £4.90. Main meals priced between £6.50 and £7.50 plus cakes. Although I did find the food to be quite pricey, especially if you come as a family of 4. There were lots of toilets dotted around the park. A bottle of water is very pricey at £2.00 each so it’s advisable to bring your own. We felt really safe at the park and there was plenty of staff on hand at all times. Now that we have visited we will definitely go again, although maybe on a day where it is not as busy. We really enjoyed travelling on the sky tram across the park. It was great to be able to see everything from a height and that way you could also park what you wanted to visit. It is a fun and entertaining place to be with plenty to do for young and old alike. The only negative point I would make is that if your child is under a certain height, especially 2 year olds+ then they will not be allowed on the rides. The park only has a few rides that are minimum age. Tarek was quite upset that he couldn’t go on some of the rides which his friend who was also the same age but slighter taller. So had to do quite a lot to try and distract him and looking for something for him to do whilst his friend was on the ride. Also, if you have a disability and require wheelchair you need to remember to bring a note from your doctors/hospital which will allow you easier access to the rides and facilities. Seemed and sounded age appropriate for our children and fun. We drove to Lego land and it was very straightforward, we used the sat nav but also noticed that it was well sign posted. Car park was busy, so the earlier you get there the better. Was impressed that the queue going home moved really quickly. There were a number of ticket offices and turnstile gates, so we didn’t need to queue, staff were friendly and we were directed to the correct window to collect our tickets. The park was clean and we were very impressed with the number of staff members present and how they all interacted with the children, just adding to their entertainment. Ideal for our children’s age group, they were able to go on most rides. A good variety of rides. We watched the pirate show but didn’t see any of the others, good to be able to have this option as well though. Because of the variety of shows and rides provided you are not able to see/do everything as you would need more than one day. They had a fantastic day out, were kept entertained and enjoyed the fact that there were activities to keep them occupied while in a queue. There were a lot of facilities available, both food and restrooms. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. Again thought had gone into the restrooms as even the men’s had baby changing facilities. There were enough bins around the park, so you didn’t have to go hunting. The staff made sure that everyone adhered to the safety rules. For a family of 4’s day out it works out to be very expensive, taking into consideration transport to and from the park, the food and drinks at the park were quite pricey (although you can take your own) and the cost of the ticket for the day. As we went out of season, it was quieter and therefore queuing was less frustrating. We all had a really great day out, but it is an expensive one. Fulfilled day, a good family day out, watching your kids be kids! Lisa Brider – Shannon & Calvin Ages 5 & 3 Years

Absolutely perfect for our 2 and really looking forward to going along to Legoland.  We drove to Legoland which was mainly motorway so easy drive and found it easy to park once arrived. Very well signposted. Once we arrived did not take us long to get through the queue as moved pretty quickly. Staff were certainly helpful and very friendly. As you can imagine our 2 were so excited.  We were also very impressed with the cleanliness of the park and map was easy to follow to take you to all the sights you wanted to see (we arrived early to ensure we had full day there).  So much on offer and so many activities, things to see and rides for Susan and Peter to enjoy.  You can also go along and see a few shows, but we were  so busy going on the rides and seeing everything in the park did not have time to attend one on this visit.  I must admit would be ideal to spend a weekend there as so much to see and do and would be a fun packed weekend for the children who were entertained fully throughout the day. Staff were also helpful and friendly which is a great bonus.  We all enjoyed our day out and for entertainment value the family ticket was certainly good value for money.  We also took our own picnic along and enjoyed our picnic together in a the wonderful Legoland which was so magical for our 2.  The bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained and you had bins everywhere so always somewhere to dispose of your litter keeping the place tidy and clean for families. We all had a fantastic day and our children were entertained every minute and loved it.  Will certainly be going back again as on the entertainment value is superb.  By the time we got home they were exhausted and went straight to bed.  Talked about their special day out for weeks and we all had a wonderful time.  Lianne Bastion – Susan & Peter Aged 5 & 6 Years
