Emma Awarded Let’s Look At Nature Book 5/5

A lovely quality book. Front cover bright, eye-catching illustrations. My daughter enjoyed reading the book and talking about nature. This did make her more interested in nature and had her chatting about what the pictures reminded her of. She really enjoyed reading this book. This was read multiple times when book first arrived for a few days, and shared with a friend who came over to play too. The illustrations certainly bought the book to life. My daughter loved the flower on the front cover. I liked the lovely illustrations, in a sketch style, eye catching. Not harsh to look at. Gentle nature theme. The illustrations are very high quality. I would look at buying other books in the series for a younger child as a gift. Not for my own daughter as I felt she was at the top end of it being suitable for her with it being a board book with few words in. I would perhaps suggest a slightly younger top age for reasons mentioned in previous answer. This is a high quality board book. Also good value. I would recommend as it is a beautiful book for toddler to look at by themselves or with an adult. Eye catching, high contrast illustrations. A lovely first book, beautiful images, lovely natural feel to the book theme. Simple and positive messages. Promotes a love of nature. Emma Peano – Aurora 4 Years

Bright and colourful, chunky solid book. Front cover bright and appealing. My son was interested to find out more. He did enjoy reading this book but I feel he was too old for the story. It created conversations around what he saw and told me where he had seen these. Held his interest but as stated I felt a bit too young for him. We have read this 4 times now. The illustrations did bring the book to life. My son liked the colour of the pages. I liked how colourful it is. High quality illustrations. I feel some of the Let’s Look series my son is too old for some. I might look and shapes and numbers possibly. Personally I feel this is more suited for 2 years and under. The quality of this book is very good. It is priced about the same as other similar books. I would not buy this book only due to the age range. I would recommend as lovely book or under 2’s. Lovely hard back book, colourful, inviting to read but too young for my little boy. Lovely product. Only read a few times due to the age of the book. Sara Humphries – Fin 3 Years

My first impression of the book was positive. It’s a good size and has a fair number of pages. The cover is bright and inviting. It caught my son’s attention and he couldn’t wait to read it. He enjoyed naming everything he could find on the pages and relating them to where he would see them in everyday life. I do not think the book inspired him to talk about nature more than he already does. He did like this book. We read the book a handful of times but I think the book is too young to actually hold his attention. While the colours are bright it didn’t hold his interest for very long. The illustrations certainly bring the book to life. My son enjoyed all the colours in the book. I liked the book is a good size and quite sturdy. The illustrations are very good. I would probably not buy anymore of the books in this series, only due to the fact I feel they are too young for my son. I do not agree with the aging of the book. While it is a lovely book, it is very much a younger child or baby’s book. The pictures are nice and eye catching however with only one word on most of the double pages it didn’t hold the attention of my 3 year old. The quality of the book is good. Reasonable value. At this stage of my son’s life I wouldn’t consider buying it as it is very young for him. The colours are stimulating so I would recommend the book to people with younger children or babies. It is a nice book but I can’t imagine a child near the upper recommended age of 5 having any interest in it. If I were to read the book without knowing the age range I would probably have guessed 0-2. The illustrations are nice and inviting but for us it just wasn’t a book he wanted to keep going back to.
