Little Bird Told Me Hubert Highland Cow Ride On Toy Reviews

We loved him instantly. He is a very fun and unique ride on toy. Packaging was also very good. All very good, the seat is very lovely and padded and helps to support him. Hubert himself is impossible not to love. He looks very true to life (on a smaller scale of course) and my little one has become good friends with him and offers him snacks! Instructions very easy to understand. It is generally quite self-explanatory and the image on the packaging helps. My son did find it comfortable to sit on, though he has managed to fall off it sideways a couple of times, more down to getting too excited and not waiting for help. My son was able to ride around on him without any trouble, though my boy is 2 he is on the smaller side so it suited him well that the seat is curved and well-shaped. We do not have any carpet downstairs though so he was gliding around like a pro. He also used it out on our patio on a dry day with ease. The multi directional casters were great. My son was whizzing around no problem on it. It is also great for us that it doesn’t have hard edges as we have a new painted finished kitchen, which can be chipped so we didn’t have to worry with Hubert, whilst with his first smaller walker we had to wrap that in foam edging to stop him taking chunks out of the kitchen. 100% my son found the coat comforting, he cuddles him and strokes him, more than the dog in fact, who is a fluffy breed. He did like the crinkly ears but now he is older he is less amused for long by these sort of features. He did giggle at the rattle in the tail when I showed him but was more interested in Huberts face and giving him kisses and cuddles. I was never concerned that he was unsafe on this. The rubber tyres were kind to our floors thankfully! We have recently renovated our whole house so this was important for us. My son is good friends with Hubert, the face that he has such a happy little face is lovely for my boy who has a good imagination. He has fed him snacks, given him kisses and cuddles and clearly loves him a lot. He goes on him most days of his own accord. He has used this the most around our kitchen as this has the biggest open floor space and an Island that he likes to race around. This did keep him entertained. Hubert is not just a ride on toy for my boy he is also a companion. My son loved the fluffy/realness of him. For me I loved the same aspect as he is very adorable. I was also grateful of the good wheels and the fact he wasn’t going to take chunks out of my paintwork. Without a doubt yes ideal to pass down to younger siblings. You wouldn’t want to sell him off or even give him away to just anyone. We plan to have another child so he will be kept for them before we pass on to friends/family. He is well made and of a very high standard. I would buy this as a big 1st birthday and/or Christmas gift. We were gifted ride on cars for our son and didn’t really consider an animal option until Hubert, but he is lovely as a companion as well as a ride on. I would also recommend for all the reasons above. The only features that were not 100% loved by my boy were the rattle and crinkle elements, but this is only as my boy is a bit older, if he had received this at a year old all parts of Hubert would be a hit. He is a wonderful ride on toy and beloved companion for little ones. It is refreshing to have a ride on toy that isn’t a car or bike. He is far more suitable for in the home use than other ride on toys. He is soft and therefore even though my boy is boisterous I don’t worry with him racing around on Hubert. He is a cute character. The only thing my son struggled with was understanding that he was a cow, only because he thinks of cows as being black and white. But he does now moo at him. He is well loved and gets lots of cuddles and kisses. This is a ride on toy you would naturally cherish and pass on to siblings and friend or family. Kim Startup – Leon 2 Years

I loved the highland cow design (they are one of my favourite animals) and I was glad to see it was a bit different from most ride on toys in terms of the small castor type wheels (I had initially wondered if it may be a bit young for my daughter but on seeing the wheels I felt happier she would be able to get good use of it). I loved the cow design and the different materials, especially the textured cow ‘fur’. The seat design was unique and well-designed too – providing good support for younger children as well as being comfortable for older children. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. She spent ages sitting on it, even using it to watch TV and eat her snacks so she definitely found it comfortable. Being a little older (almost 3), she didn’t need a lot of support but her younger cousin who is a little less confident in moving around also used it and he was well supported and didn’t fall off (or even look like he might fall off). The seat design was excellent and the material was a lovely touch. She zoomed around like a little speed demon on it – we couldn’t keep her still! We do not have carpets in the areas she used it so that probably helped (I didn’t think to try it on carpet) but on hard floors it was amazing. She did also use outdoors on the patio where it also worked well. The multi directional castors were great! Normal ride on toys can be quite restrictive in the way they move but this was amazing. She was able to move around with no help but she also loved being spun around on it which was very easy for us to do. She loved playing with the coat and even used her little toy hair brushes on it. It was really unusual and helped make the toy look a bit more grown up than a lot of toys. I think this would appeal more to younger children, my daughter wasn’t fussed about it and barely touched the crinkly textured ears. Similar to the ears, my daughter wasn’t very interested in the rattle in the tail. It was very sturdy and I was not at all concerned about my child’s safety while she used it. There was no marking to my floors which was great. She loved it, it very quickly became one of her favourite toys and I can see her continuing to enjoy it. When she does outgrow it, she has a little cousin who would happily become Huberts new friend! She played with this almost every day if not every day. Mostly played with in the playroom. This did keep my daughter entertained. She played with it in several different ways and also enjoyed just sitting on it. She loved the sensory side of being able to spin fast on it. I liked the unusual castor wheel design – it was unlike any other toys we have. Absolutely ideal to pass down to younger siblings or family members as such high quality. My nephew is excited to be able to use it after my daughter is too old for it (he already does use it at our house but he would love to have it at his own house). The quality was great – it barely looks used despite almost daily use for the last month. This is good value. I initially thought the cost was high for a ride on toy but it is so different to others and it was so well used that it would be worth buying. I would definitely recommend (and already have recommended to several families). Amazing and unique product which my daughter loved playing with. This has been my favourite item I have received, it has been very well used (and will continue to be), It is unique, looks very nice and quickly became one of my daughters favourite toys. The item was good quality and nicely packaged. It was very cute and soft. We love the ride in toy. He has a few other ride on and this is definitely a favourite. We loved the fact it was a Highland cow and the style and design of the toy. Instructions very easy to follow and quick and simple to build. He did find it easy to sit on. He can easily climb on himself and sits in various positions and finds it easy to mobilise. Once on he definitely seems comfortable. He had on occasion tipped the toy over if he lent to one side while riding. This moves really well on both carpet and hard floor. He particularly seems to love that he can spin easily in circles. The multi directional casters were effective and easily moves in all directions. Did on occasion topple when moved fast. My son was happy to stroke the coat. He wasn’t particularly interested in crinkle ear, but i suspect younger children will be. He wasn’t particularly interested in rattle, but this was due to him being too interested in riding the cow. The solid wooden frame was comfortable for him to sit on and move around. No marks on laminate or carpets from the rubber tyres. He absolutely loves Hubert as a playmate and companion. It’s taken over from other ride on toy and other toys he previously loved. He would play with this at least 4 times every week. This was played with in the front room and hallway at home. This did keep him entertained and he will spend time riding up and down and trying make it bounce. He seems to love and enjoy how easily he can manoeuvre this and that he is able to spin it around. I loved the design of the cow the texture fur and the wooden legs. This would definitely make a perfect gift to pass down to younger siblings or pass on to other family members. My teen also thinks it would make a good bedside stand. Good quality and easily to build, very solid design. I would buy this as it would be a good toy that would be long lasting due to quality. It has a high cost although it is much better quality than the one I paid similar price too and is much easier to ride independently. I would recommend and already have as it is such good quality and quirky design. Excellent first impression loved by whole family for appearance. Very simple to build with solid feel.
